Terra Moons Extreme Multichrome Shadows Reviews & Swatches (Part 1 of 3)
Stunt Double
Terra Moons Stunt Double Extreme Multichrome Shadow ($17.00 for 0.05 oz.) has a blackened base with a multichromatic shift that went between brighter purple to warmer purple to red to red-copper to orange-copper to olive green. The eyeshadow had a smooth, metallic sheen that sat well on bare skin. The green part of the shifting spectrum was hardest to detect, but overall, it had an intense shift that was readily visible when worn.
The consistency was smooth to the touch, soft without being powdery, and blendable with good adhesion to my lid. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Formula Overview
$17.00/0.05 oz. - $340.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have a black base and "intense color changes" that are best applied with fingertip or a dry brush, as they are "very pigmented and smooth." The brand recommends not to blend them too much to "preserve the extreme multichrome shift."
The blackened base was noticeable, but often, it wasn't quite as dark or as intense as I've experienced with other black-base multichromes, so they were a little more forgiving if one blended them out a little too much. Most of the shades lived up to the "extreme" part of the shift, too!
They were richly pigmented with a soft, smooth consistency that was lightly emollient but not too thick or too densely-packed into the pan, so it was easy to pick up product with a dry brush as well as fingertips/dampened brushes if preferred. The eyeshadow applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well along the edges. They lasted between seven and eight hours on me before creasing visibly.

Mirage
Terra Moons Mirage Extreme Multichrome Shadow ($17.00 for 0.05 oz.) has a blackened base with a multichromatic shift that went between blackened plum to copper to olive green to chartreuse to emerald green paired with a metallic finish. Per the brand, the shift was supposed to have purple and deep red, which I didn’t really get; the closest color shift I saw was more of a blackened plum to reddish-copper.
The finish was smooth and reflective without being full-on metallic, so it did not emphasize lid texture and seemed to “melt” slightly as it had sat on my lid (in a good way–just made it look more seamless). The eyeshadow had a soft, smooth consistency that wasn’t too firmly nor too softly pressed, so it picked up well with a dry brush but still had good adhesion and blended out well. It lasted well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Oh, these are simply gorgeous. 😍
I own Head Rush and I haven’t even used it yet LOL
This motivates me though!!
I don’t know if you should be commended for your restraint or admonished for waiting!!
Definitely the latter! I’ve been meaning to try it for days now! At least I can admit it’s new to my collection, came less than two weeks ago 😛
Wow! The shifts on these are so strong each swatch looks like a different shadow!
Or I should say, each angle looks like a different swatch! 🙂
How stunning are these shades! It would be hard to pin down exactly what shade colour you are wearing.
Whew, these are mighty pretty! Love these swatches, they really capture the “multi” in “multichromatic!”
Ooh Mirage Extreme is giving me some moody vibes!
Now these really are extreme in their shifts! I do love Stunt Double a great deal, so it will likely be a buy.
The other two look amazing, also!
I agree Nancy, these really live up to their name EXTREME multichrome! I’m loving all this gorgeous multichrome goodness!
I love your new “block” of 4 multichrome shade shift views with the name in the middle to use! 🙂
Thank you for the painstaking pictures! You’ve really shown these off. Amazing.
This entire series is lovely to me. But I’ve purchased two such products from a UK line and I don’t wear the multichromes enough to justify the price per item.
