Terra Moons Cosmic Chameleon Shadows Reviews & Swatches (Part 1 of 2)
Solstice
Terra Moons Solstice Cosmic Chameleon Shadow ($13.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a brighter, light-medium orange base with warm, yellow undertones paired with multichrome shimmer that shifted between lighter gold, peachy gold, and chartreuse. The chartreuse part was very subtle in person. The texture was soft, lightly creamy, and smooth with good adhesion to bare skin as it had opaque pigmentation in one layer. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Formula Overview
$15.00/0.05 oz. - $300.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be a cross between "vivid metallic and iridescent chameleon," so they have a stronger color base but a multichrome shift. The brand recommended applying over an eyeshadow primer and in a thin layer to "intensify the shift," though I did not personally find that primer necessarily impacted the shift as they were readily apparent used on their own.
They were richly pigmented with a soft, smooth consistency that was lightly emollient but not too thick or too densely-packed into the pan, so it was easy to pick up product with a dry brush as well as fingertips/dampened brushes if preferred. The eyeshadow applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well along the edges.
The vivid, more colored base helped make these easier to incorporate with other eyeshadows, too, so those who find multichromes daunting may like to start with this type of multichrome. They lasted between seven and eight hours on me before creasing visibly.

Terra Moons Orion’s Belt Cosmic Chameleon Shadow ($13.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a bright, light-medium blue with cool undertones paired with shimmer that shifted between greenish-gold, aqua, and blue. It had a bright, shiny metallic finish that didn’t emphasize my lid texture.
The consistency was lightly creamy, smooth to the touch, and dense without being thick or too firmly-pressed into the pan. The eyeshadow had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which applied well to bare skin. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before creasing visibly.

Orion's Belt
PPermanent. $15.00.
Orion’s Belt has a vivid bright blue base that shifts gold, teal, lavender and green.
Terrasphere has a magenta coral base that shifts pink, with hints of green, gold and orange.
Solstice has an orange base that shifts gold and yellow with hints of lime.
Thank you so much for reviewing these indie brands! I was just on their site filling up a cart when I thought I’d wait for you to review a couple more. 🙂
If I were to pick one out of this set that I’d enjoy having and using, it would have to be Orion’s Belt. There is something about an icy, rich aqua that shifts in several directions that makes my heart pitter patter. And I’m not even a blue eyeshadow person!
Ditto!
Solstice looks like a decent alternative to Fyrinnae’s Pyromantic Erotica, which I recently learned is no longer available!
I have and love all three of these. I also really appreciate how the brand very clearly indicates if the shades are intended to be sheer or not and if the shades are best used with a primer, glitter glue, etc. it made it easy to pick shades that suit my style of application (always primer, never glitter glue).
These shades just scream summer – and after the awful blast of winter you’ve just had, a bit of sunshine is what’s needed and welcome. Gorgeous shades.
We are so lucky we live in S. Florida. Gorgeous winters here! And, we also love the summer here. To us, Paradise. Relocated from northeast US.
It’s not a color I’d reach for but Orion’s Belt is so crazy bright it makes me happy!!
I’ve never tried this brand, it looks interesting, I like interesting pops of color.
Orion’s Belt! I don’t think I’d wear this, but gosh it’s looooooooveeeely!
