Beautiful colors! Similar to Lorac Unzipped palette, but hoping, hoping, hoping it has the same texture and pigment as the first Tartelette palette.

This looks nice, but it’ll be a pass for me. The appeal of the original Tartelette was that it actually had some cooler/neutral shades, unlike the vast majority of matte palettes on the market.

Hope it works nicely for anyone who loves warm taupes at least!

I like the first version. It is the only cosmetic by Tarte I own that I can think of. But, I don’t reach for it too often honestly because I forget it’s there and it’s pretty basic neutrals. I’d like to see how this reviews. I love a nice neutral palette.

cant wait to get my hands on this! I love the first Tartelette palette (mainly because I love matte shadows). hoping the new one has the same pigmentation and formula as the first! Christine will you be reviewing before it launches?!

I won’t be able to review it until I buy it – probably not until late November, because ULTA shipping (even express) is slowwww. Last time I spent like $15-20 on express, and it took 5 days to get here (they have long processing times). I wish I could buy it sooner for you!

Lauren Avatar

No worries I understand. Recently my Ulta orders have actually arrived a couple days after they ship (though it usually takes a day or two for it to be shipped after I place my order). I’m hoping they are trying to step up their shipping game since everyone knows/complains about their shipping speed. Thanks for the reply tho! Love your reviews!

It is so pretty! I love the first one (I got it while on a trip in the US), and I wish I could get my hands on this one, but it will be difficult since I’m living in Switzerland… I wish Tarte was available in here 🙂

By the way, Christine your website is amazing! I’m always amazed by all the incredible makeup you have in the US

would it kill them to standardize names?
tarte and too faced baffle me with their decision to rename the same colors every release.
how am I supposed to know if I am buying a repeat without looking up swatches?
nice colors regardless

I’m actually thinking of taking at look at this one. The last one was too cool for me. Cool tones make me look sallow. Anyway, this seems warmer but if it’s a bunch of super light beige taupes, I’m gonna be unhappy…

Rachel Derting Avatar

Does she not swatch the colors anymore?
I remember on the older post always seeing swatches of the colors which was so much more helpful than just showing us a picture we can find anywhere on the internet.

This is an announcement post, which is official information and imagery from the brand. If you are looking for swatches, you can find them here: http://www.temptalia.com/sneak-peek-tarte-in-bloom-tartelette2-eyeshadow-palette-photos-swatches

This is the same format I have used for almost 10 years.

Hi,
I love your reviews.
I want to buy a nice palette. I already have Coastal scents revealed 1 and 2 and was wondering if I should get the tartelette, either this or original.
I need a few matte shades, mainly evening wear.
I’ll be waiting for your reviews.
Thank you for the great reviews.
(Also could I request reviews for the CS revealed?)
