We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Oh no! Colourpop is starting to remind me of MAC with the constant releases. Only these we can’t return if not satisfied. Don’t get me wrong please. I love ,love CP. But, what’s up with the surprise collection right on top of the Holiday collections?! That stuff annoys me.

Christine…Will you be receiving any press releases from this collection any time soon…or be purchasing these items? I’m dying to see your swatches and review on them…to see if I should purchase these, because I just received an order from their holiday collection that they just released and wondering if this is worth all the hype lol. I think it’s safe to say…that I’m officially addicted to ColourPop!!! 🙂

I saw some swatches on instagram and couldn’t resist. I ordered the shadows in Leopard, Disco Ball, and Rhinestone and lipstick in Boogie Nights. Hope they perform well

Oh man, I really need that Boogie lippy! And I’m really liking the sound of Cheap Date, Famous and Moonshine in a look! Although I love DGAF, the name is a bit of a put-off, so juvenile sounding. Needing that Ho Ho liner! But the name? Seriously?

I do like the looks of these products better than their holiday “palette” though!

The makeup for the promo pic looks flawless – great picture.

As for CP, I’ve always been on the fence about them, mostly because I don’t do a lot of the textures or textures + color combos that they have, but new releases every 4 weeks or so is becoming a bit much (for me). I’m used to it with MAC, I guess. Maybe they just haven’t been around long enough for me, not sure.

Aaaarrrrgg I can’t keep up with their releases lately! My makeup collection is being usurped by Colourpop and I haven’t even ordered their eyeliners yet! I passed on their holiday sets, but I must get some of this action. Dear CP- you’re killin me smalls.

I saw swatches of the lippies on instagram, and I’m pretty sure the model is wearing Boogie Nights, which is a purplish fuschia because the other colors are a red (Silk) and a pale pinky brown nude (Peppermint)

According to the Colourpop Facebook that lip is actually an UNRELEASED ULTRA-MATTE LIQUID LIP! No date for it yet.

As much as I love new makeup it’s getting to be a bit much that they’re releasing things every few weeks, especially since as a Canadian I’d have to pay for shipping etc every single time.

I agree with everyone else – it’s getting hard to keep track of all of the new releases! To say nothing of the permanent range.

I do think ColourPop is sincere when they say something is limited; they had a sale on the LE fall products to unload the stock before releasing the new stuff. I get the impression that they rotate through the same “limited edition” colors regularly by discontinuing them and then re-releasing them under different names. I was delighted to receive my recent order and see that Girl Crush and Mixed Tape are essentially the same lovely gray-taupe with different finishes. I have a matte and a pearl! However, I imagine that collectors and the adventurous MUAs among us might not be thrilled to end up with so many duplicates.

This looks like such a fun collection! It definitely has my eye more than any of their other releases. I can’t wait to see your thoughts on them, Christine! 🙂
