What made you decide to try indie products?

What made you decide to try indie products?

A lot of people I followed/respected were into some of the indie brands, and of course, their products wered often tempting to begin with, but it was really the strength of recommendations that did it.

I’m pretty sure it was Fyrinnae! It’s amazing that they continue to have success in an industry that has changed a lot over the years.

How many times will you try a product before you know it won't work for you?

How many times will you try a product before you know it won't work for you?

It depends on the why it’s not working, but for most products, if it doesn’t work after trying a handful of times with different techniques/brushes (e.g. using a lighter hand, heavier hand, different type of brush, wet), I usually just move on.

What makes you return a product (or donate/giveaway if you can't return)?

It’s very rare that I return a product, but if I bought it personally, and it arrived broken/damaged or was exceptionally bad quality, then I would return it.

How do you feel about travel-sized perfume?

How do you feel about travel-sized perfume?

I love when they’re in a mini spray bottle, since I prefer spraying to rolling on! It’s a nice way to try different fragrances without having to commit to a single bottle. It’s not necessarily a cost-effective way just to sample, but it is a great way to buy a scent to wear semi-regularly...

How do you feel about travel-sized skincare?

I think it works well for sets to try a few products from a single brand’s line, but I find that I’d rather have a travel set of empty containers if necessary to bring my staples with me.

What kind of sale makes you interested enough to check it out?

I think 20% is becoming the minimum for me to give it a look-see, but 25% starts making me more inclined to buy if I wasn’t interested before.
