I think what changes are the textures, but the general colors of lots of red, golds, metallics is often repeated. I like it, but I only follow trends as much as I need to run the blog.

For my skin type (normal-to-dry), I don't, but I also don't find myself absolutely needing my makeup to stay 100% perfect for more than 4-6 hours!

I love a soft shimmering shade like MAC Shroom on the lid with a medium brown like MAC Soft Brown in the crease! You can add a little oomph by going darker on cheeks or lips or else keep those both rather natural.
