I do a more extensive inventory process every year or so, if I can manage to do so! But luckily, now, most of what I have is archived right here on the blog.

Saving up throughout the year knowing that more money is going to be spent in the last part of the year!
I can barely find brands like Wet ‘n’ Wild and NYX in drugstores, though I know they have distribution in some! I’d honestly love to see some of the overseas “drugstore” brand equivalents in U.S. drugstores (Sleek Makeup comes to mind).
ColourPop’s fall collection. Their theme was well-done and well-executed.
A good setting/finishing powder really does it for me, something like Guerlain Les Voilettes or Urban Decay Naked Loose Powder. I have normal-to-dry skin, and I don’t think my pores are particularly large/noticeable, so that’s enough for me.
I reach for thicker night creams, and I start getting better about using hydrating masks as my skin tends to get drier as the temperatures drop. This in turn means I tend to use foundations with more luminosity or a hydrating primer (really liking Hourglass’ 28 serum).
This might surprise you… but just a Jack Black Lip Balm and two Bobbi Brown High Shimmer Lipglosses! I don’t usually keep much in my bag, and if I put anything extra in it, I take it out when I get home (usually something I’m testing).
Consistently good products that show some creativity/attempt to be unique.
I think there is a lot of new things, and it obviously keeps me with plenty to write about, but sometimes (especially this time of the year), it just seems like brands put out things to put out things, so with less thought and function.
