I used to, even if only a few times a month, but I definitely have been less in the mood to play and more to just make sure I am testing what I need for reviews lately.
When I purchased all of the Tom Ford Boys & Girls collection for the first time (50 lipsticks), I was like, maybe I’m taking the “review every shade” thing too far.
Makeup washes off, so don’t be afraid to play, experiment, and have fun!
I like really crisp and clear photos where the makeup/skincare is in focus; light editing but not to the point where we’ve lost a sense of skin texture. I tend to gravitate toward higher contrast photography or avant garde makeup.
Definitely an extra for me as I thankfully don’t experience feathering/bleeding very often!
I usually take a travel-sized cleansing oil with me and then a reusable microfiber circle/cloth.
It has to perform superbly, have a great texture, and be the kind of color I’d wear over and over again or be product I’d actually use up.
