What bad beauty habit were you able to ditch?

What bad beauty habit were you able to ditch?

I’m much better at purchasing what I think I can review compared to a couple of years ago, so I am wasting less money (the products would get donated).

Is eyeshadow fallout a deal-breaker?

Is eyeshadow fallout a deal-breaker?

I don’t mind some fallout during application, as long as the end result is still the level of pigmentation I was going for, but continuous fallout during wear is harder to deal with, especially if the fallout gets into my eyes.

What are three things you love about makeup?

What are three things you love about makeup?

1.) I love how things layer and come together. You just never know what combination might wow you one day! 2.) It washes off, so no matter how I might feel about a color or how my makeup turned out that day, it comes off easily. 3) How versatile it can be, from subtle to avant garde from utilitarian...

Have you ever fallen in love with a product that wasn't working for you before?

Have you ever fallen in love with a product that wasn't working for you before?

It’s hard to imagine it hasn’t happened at least a couple of times in the last decade but nothing specific is coming to mind. I know that there are a lot of products I like but don’t love, use more often, and then realize I kind of do love them after all!

How important is finishing an eyeshadow palette to you?

How important is finishing an eyeshadow palette to you?

I have much appreciation for those who pan their eyeshadow palettes. That is a testament to regular, sustained use! I can’t imagine using a palette often enough to really get there myself, even if I wasn’t blogger… I am just too much of an eyeshadow fiend and wants lot of options.

How important is finishing a cheek color to you?

How important is finishing a cheek color to you?

Since I spend a lot of time testing new products, I don’t go back and re-use things regularly enough to finish them. I think I have some baby dips in a few blushes I’ve had for YEARS! If I try to pretend as if I wasn’t a blogger, I think as long as I was using something a couple of times a...

How important is finishing a lip color to you?

How important is finishing a lip color to you?

It’s not, haha! Obviously, given the volume of products I test and go through, I don’t have much opportunity to use products ’til the very end. I’m lucky to finish a lip balm! As a regular consumer, I don’t mind not finishing something up entirely, but I wouldn’t want tons of products...
