A Subversive Halloween Look featuring Pat McGrath Subversive Palettes
About this Look
This side of my ode to Pat McGrath on this Halloween is combining the original, larger Subversive Mothership Palette with the newest Subversive Metalmorphosis palette. Every time I use a Pat McGrath palette, the finished look always makes me ooh and ahh; there is something about the texture and way the colors play together that mesmerizes me. They never cease to make me smile when I use them, and the feeling of joy after using the palettes keeps me going back on those rare moments I get to pick whatever I want, even if I’m only going to wear it for a few hours!

So pretty look but it’s Gigabyte that really caught my eye. I SO want that colour. I have a few of the dupes but they’re not “dupe-y” enough!
It’s so rich – a lot of depth in the base color compared to the shimmer.
Love love love that pink/purple/gold eye!
Thank you, Seraphine!
Stunning! Like you mentioned, the way the colors play off each other is truly mesmerizing. It seems like PM can do no wrong. The colors you chose look spectacular together, too. I love how the tones translate in the cheeks as well.
Thank you, Leah! 🙂
Beautiful look, Christine! I’m glad you got to play and wear some of your favorite things.
Thank you, Rachel! 🙂
Beautiful colors and placement, Christine. The colors come together so seamlessly but they’re still so vibrant and distinct. Like a beautiful rainbowy oil slick. lol
Haha! That is a good way to describe it 😉 Thank you, Blue!
Beautiful fun look! Thank you Christine 🙂 I agree, I always really enjoy it when I use my Pat McGrath palettes, it just feels like a treat. Seriously considering getting the holiday trio!
Thank you, Ariane! 🙂
Ughhh I’m trying to convince myself I don’t need a $125 palette, but post like these are not helping my resolve. I really want the Subversive palette, but know I’ll rarely use it especially for everyday-type looks.
You gotta use it to make it worth it, otherwise look for dupes – maybe layer a few shades to get there!
How and in what order did you apply your lip products for this look Christine? ? I love all of it really!!!
The order is as written!
Duuuhhhh!!!! I’m so sorry I didn’t see that! I apologize for wasting your time! But seriously, your looks are sooo inspiring and dare I say, wallet draining!!! LOLOLOLOL ❤️
Sooo beautiful. Your job must be the best sometimes 🙂
