About this Look

This side of my ode to Pat McGrath on this Halloween is combining the original, larger Subversive Mothership Palette with the newest Subversive Metalmorphosis palette.  Every time I use a Pat McGrath palette, the finished look always makes me ooh and ahh; there is something about the texture and way the colors play together that mesmerizes me.  They never cease to make me smile when I use them, and the feeling of joy after using the palettes keeps me going back on those rare moments I get to pick whatever I want, even if I’m only going to wear it for a few hours!

P.S. — You can view details of the other eye look here.

Stunning! Like you mentioned, the way the colors play off each other is truly mesmerizing. It seems like PM can do no wrong. The colors you chose look spectacular together, too. I love how the tones translate in the cheeks as well.

Beautiful fun look! Thank you Christine 🙂 I agree, I always really enjoy it when I use my Pat McGrath palettes, it just feels like a treat. Seriously considering getting the holiday trio!

Ughhh I’m trying to convince myself I don’t need a $125 palette, but post like these are not helping my resolve. I really want the Subversive palette, but know I’ll rarely use it especially for everyday-type looks.
