Tom Ford Love Lust (original was discontinued), MAC Margin (haven’t used it in many years but it used to be a daily go-to!), Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Glow (original), which I still really love but rarely reach for.
It would depend on the brand and type of product; if it was matte eyeshadow that had a weak swatch, but the brand’s formula tends to be buildable, sure. If it was a metallic eyeshadow that had a poor swatch, probably not. I’m less worried about blush, bronzer, and highlighter that swatch so-so...
I don’t think there’s any category I wouldn’t splurge on! I find it hard to spend a lot on packaging if I can opt out of packaging (e.g. Cle de Peau highlighters, I only purchased them in pan-form because I refused to spend ~$50 on just a compact!
I don’t think skincare HAS to be expensive, but if there is a product that really, really works well for me, then I’ll continue to repurchase it even if it’s expensive. I have to be in the right mindset to experiment when it comes to certain parts of my skincare routine, LOL! My current go-to...
If I have the time, I’ll take off what’s not working and re-do it. If I don’t have a lot of time, I might remove and just slap basics on – like if it’s foundation, then I’ll take it off and just do tinted moisturizer; or if it was an eye look, I’ll take off everything and just redo...
I’m most likely to use one on the inner tearduct to brighten or to smoke out the lower lash line.
