What highlighter hues are you most drawn to?

What highlighter hues are you most drawn to?

I love duochrome (or multichrome, I’d imagine) highlighters of any and all varieties… I love the ability of it to really shift and play with any blush it is paired with. I also love more rose gold/mauve highlighters.

What kind of blush colors don't pique your interest?

What kind of blush colors don't pique your interest?

I love that they exist for others, but I don’t reach for less traditional shades of blush, like green or blue or full-on purple. I’ve found that while I love that they exist, really bright, intense blush shades (in any color)–like red–are always more work than I want to put in.

What blush colors are you most drawn to?

I love coral, mauve, and plum shades. For coral, I like all kinds–lighter, brighter, deeper, pinker, warmer, etc. For mauve/plum, I tend to gravitate toward muted variations the most.

What kind of eyeshadow colors don't pique your interest?

Brighter, more neon matte shades don’t get me that excited – I’ll enjoy using them here and there but don’t get that interested in them just by seeing them.

What shades am I NOT drawn to?! Eyeshadow is my favorite thing! I will be intrigued if there are shades of teal to emerald green, taupe, or burgundy.

Better descriptions… example: describe the color, opacity, and finish of each lipstick shade in a range. Less heavily altered swatches–clean up the edges but the color/finish should be somewhere in reality!

Digitally, yes, I do get a lot of enjoyment with playing with color combos and placements! In person, if I had more time and the ability to use anything I created, I think I would enjoy it.

Do you need your eyeshadow palettes to be cohesive?

Do you need your eyeshadow palettes to be cohesive?

I don’t want them to be chaotic, but cohesive to me is something that works harmoniously together–that doesn’t mean I need it to have the perfect brow bone or transition shade for my skin tone, though.

Do you find cheek palettes useful?

Do you find cheek palettes useful?

I like duos and trios, but anything larger than that is usually more than I want/need. I like cheek palettes to be more compact, and I think when they get larger, it’s harder to be equally in love with all of the shades as one is with just one or two of them. Maybe if I was a big traveler, a...

What is your makeup comfort zone like?

What is your makeup comfort zone like?

I love a lot of eyeshadow and playing with lip combos, so I’m happiest there. I can get into layering iridescent and duochrome highlighters over blush colors, too. I feel like everything except for one-and-done eye makeup. I love combining shades so much that wearing just one eyeshadow feels...
