I was thinking the other day that we haven’t heard from SG for awhile – and there they were baking up their newest palettes! I think the palette is lovely, lots of different shades colours – but too many pinks/reds for me and probably Mariella too. Plus the mattes.
Differentiating the blush quads is a plus for the brand too.

You’re not alone Nancy in that feeling. I was happy to see a new SG palette, but feel kinda “Uhhh, nah, maybe-ish” about it. I like the deep colors, but then prefer some of the light ones, and they color scheme just seems, “offish” to me. So, I’ll wait to see how many I dupes I have first.

Sweater Weather (my fave time of year) is the sort of colour that always catches my eye but which I cannot really wear well; about the closest I can get is something like UD’s Weirwood Leaves or Tarte Sinful (which is more brown). I really love Tiara and Haley’s Haze (in both palettes) but the large # of orange, peach and pink hues would be enough to stop me buying this and looking instead for dupes in my collection.

While I like some of the shades in the eyeshadow palette, there’s all the warm peach-y ones that I have so many of in various palettes and never use, so I’ll check the dupes for the shades I really like´.
I can understand cheek palettes, but they are never for me as there’s always one thing in them that would go unused, in this case the bronzer, I don’t use bronzers ever and even if I did, it’s so warm toned that it would look off on me. The rest of the cheek palette is quite lovely and possibly a good value as well.

As regards the e/s palettes, just come over here and stand with me and Genevieve in the “No red, orange or peach” club! And I find the exact same thing with cheek palettes – there’s usually one or two shades I love and one or two that really clash with my colouring. Like you, I skip the whole bronzer thing almost 100% of the time.

Can I join the club? I’ll bring dessert! LOL I love Sydney Grace’s products, but I’m skipping the eyeshadow palette for the same reasons y’all listed. I’m very fair and orange peachy reddish shadows do not work for it. I will be picking up the light face palette. I think with a light hand and a fluffy brush, I can use the bronzer. It will be a pretty eyeshadow if nothing else.
They are also releasing 2 unicorn bundles that are cool toned! Going to check my stash since they are existing shades. Their instagram shows the unicorn bundles,
