Sydney Grace Arctic Moon Loose Highlighter Review & Swatches

Arctic Moon
Sydney Grace Arctic Moon Loose Highlighter ($8.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a very light, bright mauve with subtle, cool undertones and a metallic finish. It appeared lighter when applied to my skin as it was very reflective, so it was more glow and shine than base color in practice. Thankfully, while it was an intense highlighter, it didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture and actually seemed to give an illusion of smoothness!
As it was a loose powder, pigmentation definitely varied depending on how much one picked up, but from my experience and how much I used, I would consider it to be quite pigmented–I definitely didn’t need much picked up on my brush for full coverage. The consistency felt silky, soft, and was blendable on my skin. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading slightly.

Over Paris Skies, should you need more light focus. Yup. IMO, SG can do no wrong.
Good God, I have curated yet another list ?
When I saw the swatches of this I was totally I NEED this. It is like a cooler more intense version of Hourglass mood exposure (the finishing powder). A cooling mauve on my skin takes away my olive sallow/drabness if that makes any sense. I use a bit of Hourglass ME every time I put on makeup.
This looks so beautiful. I don’t have a shade like it.
This is so perfect for winter! At least for me, anyway. Probably too cool-toned for me to pull off during summer…then again, this summer is different.
