I have Smoked Opaline from the fall release of the private shadows. It’s very pretty. I only picked a few colors… cause $36 a pop… gotta be selective!

If I’d stumped up $36 or 39 for Breathless and TFX19, I’m be some kind of angry. Quite a few of these are very beautiful but the price, which will be considerably higher in Canada, seems outrageous.

Same here. The private & extreme ES are CAD$44 and the cream and powder is CAD$80.

Pretty, but nothing that warrants the price IMHO. Some of those glitters look pretty chunky.

For the price, these are leaving me wanting more out of them. And then I feel bad for feeling this way, because you went out on a limb and bought almost every single shade! Just feel let down by TF with most of these. Except for possibly Smoked Opaline, plus TFX17 or TFX15?

I bet there well be plenty of better quality and/or more reasonably priced dupes for Smoked Opaline and quite a few others.

I like the shades and glitter combos of TFX6,8,11,15-17,and 20. I really love the swatches of 15, 16, and 20. Those ones are my favorites. Naked City and Vertigo looks nice from the swatches also. I can’t wait to see how these perform!

Okay, I just checked and these are an outrageous $44 here (plus a whole lot of taxes, which will take the price around $50 each)! Nars Dual Intensity shadows seem like bargain pricing by comparison!

These swatches underwhelm me and I an a TF collector!

I love several of these and can’t wait to see how they perform. I am sure I will pick up a couple but will need to see which ones I have dupes for and which I don’t. I am sure I cannot afford all the shades I love. I am excited to see the eye look(s) you create with these.

Yikes, I’m shocked by the extreme prices! And for so little product too. A few look interesting, but rest looks meh, and none look like they are worth the price

Black Onyx and Vertigo have been my top picks. I haven’t swatched though.

I like some of these….but also some look “cheap” on the swatches – like the ones with the loose glitter falling all over the place. Wtf?

I just don’t get these at all. Am I supposed to just wear one color by itself, like on the lid? I know the TFX shades aren’t going to blend in any kind of useful way because of all the glitter.

I’m still happy with the Private Shadows I bought on first release (and where you’ll find more finishes if you don’t want glitter). Not sure about the TFX though. The ones I liked are brighter in the swatch than in the pan and I liked the depth in the pan better. We’ll see what I think in person though. It took me two attempts at the sparkler shades in the Private shadows before I felt like they were workable; Breathless being one of them. Though if you have Young Adonis, you can skip Beeathless. They’re too similar to justify both in retrospect.

So glad that most of the colors I’d want (like Tempete Bleu) didn’t look like the swatched well. Keeps me away for the high price tag. Awaiting the final reviews. 😉
