Your skin tone/coloring: light medium with neutral tones… dark hair, light eyes
Favorite product this month? a DIY face oil… it’s saving my skin in this transitioning weather!
Most used face/cheek product this month? Funnily enough, it’s been the Essence blush in Satin Love. It’s on the top of the pile over my new MJ Air blushes. Go figure.
Most used eye product this month? I dug out an old Smashbox highlight in Tint (d/c’d) It wasn’t working for a highlighter, but I’m loving the simplicity of it on my eyes with some smudged out liner.
That satin love IS good. Not what I expected, but excellent, nonetheless. Worn it a lot. Goes with virtually every neutral-warm scheme. I thought it was a great find…even though I thought it was pucey-mauve based on the Ulta photo. Prob not the best for deeper than medium skintones, though. I tend to like Cosnova (Catrice and now, Essence) pretty well. Maybe it’s the German in the company and me. Love Zoeva, too.
Zoeva is on my short list of Need to Try!
Skintone: light medium warm
Favorite product of March: What a difficult question! I bought so many great products in March, some of which I haven’t used used yet (such as the Anastasia Mario Palette and Chanel Codes Elegants, either of which might ultimately be my favorite product of the month, after I get a chance to use them). Right now I am going to have to say my favorite purchase this month is LANCOME’s Teint Idole Ultra 24 hour foundation, with Chanel Codes Harmonie blush being my second favorite. I have combination skin that requires frequent blotting and with the push for luminousity and radiance over the past couple years, I have been trying a lot of products that don’t work for me. The Teint Idole is like a mini-revolution: it lasts all day, and it doesn’t get shiny! But it also feels comfortable and doesn’t make my dry areas feel tight. The coverage is good and the color match is exact.
Most used face/cheek products: Teint Idole Ultra 24 Hour Foundation, LANCOME Absolue Radiance face powder, and Chanel Codes Harmonie blush.
Most used eye products: Chanel Codes Subtils eyeshadow quad, LANCOME Color Design 5 Color Eyeshadow in Beige Brûlée, Viseart Bridal Satin palette, and Viseart Royal Bijoux palette.
I’m so glad you got the Mario palette. I was going to pass on it but I am so happy I bought it when it was still available in Canadian Sephora stores.
What shade do you use Tammy? I love this foundation too! I just discovered it in 330N and dropped it on the floor on use #3!!! This shade was a tad too light/pink for me and Lancome CS suggested I go up to 370 (!) which seems like quite a leap to me. You skin tone seems similar to mine so I was curios which shade you’re using. TY!!
Kim, I have been wearing strong sunscreen and avoiding all daylight since November, so I have actually gotten to where my face is leaning more towards neutral. I was able to take a step back to a lighter neutral shade, which just so happens to be 330 Bisque N–it’s perfect for my face, just a touch lighter than my neck and chest. I was previously wearing 320 Bisque W in the Teint Idole Ultra Cushion foundation, which is actually significantly deeper and warmer than the 330 Bisque N, even though the number is smaller. I would check the 320 Bisque N before going up to 370.
I also agree, I purchased the Lancôme teint idole foundation and it is perfect! My skin has recently changed from dry/combo to super oily and this is really holding up, plus the color match is suberb.
LOVE the Chanel Codes Subtils!
All these fellow oily-skinned people loving Lancome Teint Idol Foundation are really making me want to try it!
Thank you for the response Tammy! Much appreciated. Funny, the 330N was perfect for me too…..until I went outdoors after an hour or so and saw pink. The Lancome CS folks did tell me it oxidizes “darker” and I found that to be true. I received a sample of the 320N from Sephora but haven’t tried it yet. And the sales associate did suggest this shade as well. I look forward to trying it! I’m curious, have you ever tried EL Double Wear? If so what color? In that I have 3N1 and 2N1. Again the 3 is a tad dark, but the 2 is a tad light. I hate having to buy two shade to mix (it gets messy). I seem to be “in between” with this Brand as well. LOVED the Lancome 24 hour and was not happy to have dropped the new bottle! Grrrrrr! I’m glad you’re enjoying it too!
Kim,
I wear Ivory Beige 3N1 in Double Wear at my palest and mix in a touch of Tawny 3W1 when I’m getting a little color. I just get my primary shade and one of those 10-day testers for the darker mix-in shade. Those little testers last me months (sometimes a year) because I’m only mixing in a small amount, I change up my foundations frequently, and I don’t like to wear heavy foundation (I prefer just a touch of foundation as too much ages me).
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/light with neutral undertones
Favorite product this month? Probably my Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Radiant Lights!
Most used face/cheek product this month? Has to be my NYX HD concealer
Most used eye product this month? I have been using my Morphe 35OS palette that my friend gifted to me a lot!
Your skin tone/coloring: Light with beige/yellow undertones
Favorite product this month? Just switched back to MUFE HD liquid foundation so definitely that.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder
Most used eye product this month? MAC Burgundy x Nine Palette
Your skin tone/coloring: Deep/Dark NW50
Favorite product this month? Sheet masks! (but that’s every month)
Most used face/cheek product this month? Colour Pop Highlighter Might Be

This end of the month survey is quickly becoming one of my favorite Temptalia features! Thanks for providing a space for us to share, Christine.
Your skin tone/coloring: light to medium with yellow undertones, dark brown eyes, black hair
Favorite product this month? Rimmel Spice lip liner. I’ve loved using it all on its own over some lip balm.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Wet n Wild Precious Petals highlighter. I’ve used this all over my eyelids, too!
Most used eye product this month? Revlon ColorStay brow pencil in Dark Brown. I think I’ve come halfway around to this. I’ll use it up but I don’t think I’ll repurchase.
Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair olive/warm undertones (NC10 is good), hazel eyes, dark auburn hair
Favorite product this month? I started using a niacinamide serum this month and it’s made a huge difference in my skin. It’s smoother and I swear it doesn’t get as red as it used to, which is something I’d never thought would happen. I’ve also picked up my Revlon Colorstay Normal/Oily and I’ve been sheering it out with a moisturizing primer or highlighter, and it’s so nice.
Most used face/cheek product this month? The Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer in Light Bronze. It’s a really gorgeous product but I don’t like recommending it since it’s ridiculous that someone as pale as me can use the “medium” shade normally, and really pack on the “light” shade, and that there’s no dark shade. The shades have really put me off PF, even though I can usually use them.
Most used eye product this month? The Cool Tan eyeshadow in the Kevyn Aucoin Contour Book II. It’s perfect just under the lashes and blown out in the crease for a really natural look, which I like to do to open up my eyes after using undereye concealer.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair skin with neutral undertones and freckles
Favorite product(s) this month: Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops in Celestial (is it weird that I’m attracted to products with my name in them?); Essence Pure Nude Highlighter in Be My Highlight – I’ve been using this to set my face after foundation and concealer, and holy moly it’s amazing! Gives such a healthy glow and doesn’t add a powdery look, which I’m not a fan of; Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Duo in shade 01, the highlight over the Cover FX enhancer drops is lovely.
Most used face/cheek product this month: Probably Milani Powder Blush in Romantic Rose, so pretty.
Most used eye product this month: Wet n Wild Photofocus eye primer and I’ve been playing more with the Butter London Glazen Eye Glosses that I have… and the Colourpop supershock shadows that I have too.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite product this month? Hourglass Visionary lip stylo
Most used face/cheek product this month? Cheek – Clinique Plum Pop blush; face – Hourglass Ethereal Ambient Light Powder
Most used eye product this month? believe it or not, good ol’ Painterly Paint Pot with Marc Jacobs black skinny liner to tightline my upper lashes; also MAC’s 24 hour eyeshadow primer which I’ve been using under 2 shadows worn together from the Estee Edit G+G palette – Burn and Riff.
Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Favorite product this month? Lots of great new favorite lippies for me this month! Nyx Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks in French Maid and Caberet Show; MAC Colour Rocker Lipstick in NIght Mint; Bite Beauty Creme Lipgloss in Peacock Pearl.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Face: e.l.f. HD Powder in Sheer Cheek: Tarte Exposed and Too Faced Baby Love; e.l.f. Blush in Gotta Glow (highlighter).
Most used eye product this month? UD Primer Potion in Original; bhCosmetics Carli Bybel palette; UD and MAC singles in general.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/neutral/brunette/blue-green eyes
Favorite product this month? Benefit Dandelion Twinkle
Most used face/cheek product this month? Dandelion Twinkle and NARS Bumpy Ride
Most used eye product this month? New go-to look: Perricone MD No Eyeshadow Eyeshadow, butter London Maplewood Eyeshadow Serum, and Sephora Smoky Eye eyeshadow/liner pencil in matte brown.
And I’ve been sweeping the Dandelion Twinkle under my brows as a highlight and it blends the eyeshadow well! I forgot how much I love Benefit Box o Powders!
Skin tone/coloring: Fair/warm
Favorite product this month: UD Vice Lipstick in 1993 (why did it take me so long to catch on to brown lipstick?!)
Most used face/cheek products this month: NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint in Finland, Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso
Most used eye products this month: Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette, Charlotte Tillbury Color Chameleon pencil in Bronzed Garnet, Smashbox 24HR Shadow Primer
Your skin tone/coloring: fair w/ yellow undertones
Favorite product this month? ABH liquid lipstick in “Catnip”
Most used face/cheek product this month? Nars Exhibit A
Most used eye product this month? Kat Von D Tattoo Liner
Your skin tone/coloring: Light-medium with warm undertones
Favorite product this month? Nyx prismatic highlight in 05 Lavender Steel
Most used face/cheek product this month? Laura Geller balance and brighten powder foundation in light and Benefit Hoola
Most used eye product this month? Anastasia Modern Renaissance is in the rotation again!
Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with yellow undertones.
Favorite product this month? Hard to pick, but maybe my new Marcelle City Multi-Protection Tinted Cream… My skin has had some eczema breakouts, so I’ve been happy having a hypoallergenic tinted cream that provides some spf coverage, doesn’t emphasize my dry patches much, yet gives me a nice glowy look and evens out my colouring! I’ve also been using it under foundation every time I wear it.
Most used face/cheek product this month? I seem to keep reaching for my little tarte blush that came in the Sephora birthday duo this year (my birthday was this month!), it’s just such a perfect shade and seems to go with every look.
Most used eye product this month? Coastal Scents Creative Me palette… Super colourful and super affordable, I’ve been impressed with how they perform for the price.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair with pink undertones
Favorite product this month: Lancôme Dual Finish Foundation in Clair 210 (N)
Most used face/cheek product this month: Lancôme New Nude contour, blush highlighter palette
Most used eye product this month: Lancôme Hypnose Drama mascara in Excessive Black color
Your skin tone/coloring: light and warm
Favorite product this month? The Peter Thomas Roth new Water Drench cloud something cream, this is really good stuff and the texture is fantastic.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Still struggling to finish my Smashbox Studio Skin foundation. The good news is that it’s grown on me lately! I think my IPL sessions have helped with my sun spots enough that I feel more comfortable with a sheerer base, so I’ve started using only one pump of the foundation and blending it in with a dry Real Techniques sponge. It works pretty well and doesn’t look as dry or cakey as it does when I use more product, the finish is really nicer.
Most used eye product this month? An LE cream shadow from Lancome, it’s called Brun Bibliotheque. It’s a slap it on and go kind of product in a neutral shade, but it’s sparkly so I get a lot of impact for minimal effort – and that’s what I’m looking for in the morning!
Your skin tone/coloring: NC23ish currently!! prominent warm/yellow undertones. Warm brown hair, and warm brown eyes!
Favorite product this month? Colourpop Perilune highlight! It’s a glittery green highlight, I love to pat it onto my cheek bones/temples, then buff it out with a fluffy blush brush, and I’m happy!!
Most used face/cheek product this month? NYX Dark circle concealer corrector in medium! this isn’t the most pigmented corrector, but it’s creamy and works well for me!
Most used eye product this month? I took a MAC empty quad palette, and I filled it with 4 of my favourite brown crease shades from lightest to darkest. I have Colourpop Bel Air as a nice transition, Coastal Scents Barista as a true warm brown crease, Coastal Scents Deep Cider a cooler brown for the crease, and MAC embark as a deep dark brown to deepen the outer V! It’s perfect with all of the traveling I’v been doing, because I can just pop this quad and two different cream singles into my bag and i’m good to go!
Your skin tone/coloring: Dark skin (NARS Macao), warm undertones
Favorite product this month? Dior DiorAddict Fluid Stick in 784 Chic, a neutral berry. I love how I can build the color up, or wear as a stain (e.g. for work). Of all the lip products I have acquired over the years, this formula is my favorite.
Most used face/cheek product this month? MAC Sea Me, Hear Me Extra Dimension Blush (Alluring Aquatic Collection). I rotate my makeup in an attempt to enjoy as many of my products as possible. This is one of my faves for spring and early summer.
I tend to pair this blush with Sephora’s MicroSmooth Baked Luminizer in Light Beam. The combo is stellar.
Most used eye product this month? Tom Ford Cream Color for Eyes in Burnished Copper. My favorite cream shadow formula. This particular shade is dimensional enough to be worn on its own. It’s also very flexible. I can build up and carry it through the crease for a nice smoky eye, or wear it lower on the lid for a daytime smoky, or sheer it out for a nice office-friendly look.
Skin tone: Very pale with cool undertones.
All three questions are answered with one product, the Feline Fancy quad from Sugarpill. I use all four shades on the eyes in different combinations and together. I use the lighter pink shade as my blush and the red/brown for contour with the highlight shade on the high points. I have gotten so much use out of this palette and have been thinking about picking up another one as back up.
Skin Medium tone olive undertones?
The eyeshadow quad that I have been using the most this month is Chanel 268 Candeur et experience which is for the winter but also Dior’s Coral Gradation eyeshadow palette which is for Spring.
For cheeks Chanel Rouge Profound and another one I did not think I was going to like but swirled together it is beautiful Chanel blush harmony.
And Highlighter I used the most Estee Lauder/ victoria Beckham Modern Mercury.
To name a favorite this month is too hard I can’t.
Your skin tone/coloring: Dark
Favorite product this month? Lancôme teint idole foundation. I got the shade 530c and it’s my skin in a bottle.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Mac sweet as cocoa blush
Most used eye product this month? Black eyeliners. I was using deep navy blue for a while, but I’m going for black liner lately. I like the Bobbi Brown pot gel liner and L’Oréal silkissime liner.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light/Medium neutral
Favorite product this month? New Dior Laquer lipstick in Underground.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Dior air luminizer 001

Most used face/cheek product this month? Nars Unfiltered II
Most used eye product this month? Colourpop pressed eyeshadows
Your skin tone/coloring: NC25, light-medium warm leaning neutral skin. Dark hair, dark eyes.
Favorite product this month: Heroine Make Volume + Curl Advanced Film mascara. A HG for me – my curl lasts a whole day despite heat (30+ degrees celsius) and humidity (80-90%), doesn’t smudge on my oily eyelids and removes a lot easier than the WP version. AND it’s not super expensive. WIN!
Most used face/cheek product this month: UD Anaheim from the Gwen palette as a contour. The pan is a little small for contouring but I just use a fluffy mid-sized eyebrush, sweep it along the cheekbones and then blend it out with an angled cheek brush. Doesn’t look too shabby IMO.
Most used eye product this month: MR Burnt Orange for a warm eye.
Skin tone: Porcelain with pink undertones
Favourite product this month: La Roche Posay Calming lotion for settling down any redness due to the heat and humidity of our hot March.
Most used cheek/face product: Becca Jacklyn Hill face palette – so far I’m loving it. Another favourite is the La Roche Posay Ultra light sunscreen 50+ Very easy to wear under foundation and it protects my face.
Most used eye product: It’s back to UD Mushroom – that shade is so versatile and so it the rest of the Mariposa palette. I have also been using my Clinique Chubby stick shadow in Whopping Willow too.
Are you referring to La Roche-Posay Rosaliac Anti-Redness Moisturizer? I’d be interest in knowing the product you are using because I now get too red due to heat as well. Thanks.
I’m very interested too! I have a lot of redness on my face and I’m always interested in skincare to help with that.
I would recommend that you try out this product Kat – I have the Rosalaic Anti Redness Intense Serum and so far it has been working really well on my red and sensitive skin. It can substitute for a primer as well. It is not as expensive as some of the other anti redness products either. Love their whole line.
Ooh, I will definitely pick it up! Thank you for the tip!
Yes, I am Anne – officially it is the La Roche Posay Rosaliac Anti Redness Intense Serum. It is fantastic at calming my red cheeks right down. It has been the best one I have ever tried – even better that Clinique’s anti redness cream.
It is also on sale a few times a year here as well, which is great.
I have sensitive skin too – so their whole line is one that I will be exploring this year once I use up all my other skincare products. Very impressed.
Your skin tone/coloring: light to medium, warm undertones, NC 23 – 27
Favorite product this month? Tom Ford blushes!
Most used face/cheek product this month? Shiseido Future X Radiance Loose powder or Guerlain Meteorites Perles – love them for finishing.
Most used eye product this month? MAC Glamorize Me Creme Shadow x 6 palette – I really like this formula. I don’t know if this is the same formula as MAC’s regular creme colour bases (this feels less emollient/tacky/greasy?) but I’m using it as an alternative to the paint pots. I wear it as a base and put shadow over it and it lasts all day like paint pots do (for me).
SKintone/coloring: light NC 20

Favorite product this month: The very beautiful foiled/ metallic lipstick and lipgloss trend that many of us on here predicted would be the next lip trend.
Most used cheek/facw product this month: ABH x Nicole Guerriero!
Most used eye product this month: Having recently purchased MAC Sweet Heat EDES and Twinks, I’ve been loving the heck out of using both together with MAC Sable! Also been hitting UD Electric Palette quite often as well. It works so well with my new Tropic Cools x’s 9 and a slew of my other faves.

Favorite product this month? My mind keeps going to skincare – I just got the PMD this month and am slightly obsessed with it. I’m following the instructions to wait between demabrasion sessions, but I’m looking forward to using it again in the next few days. My skin feels fantastic and I’m eager to see what it does long-term. For color cosmetics, my favorite product is probably the CdP blush in Perfect Peach. It’s a very neutral color for me, but it applies and wears beautifully. I wish they had a more plummy shade, but I’ll just have to keep my fingers crossed.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Armani Maestro Glow and CdP cream blush in Perfect Peach
