Favorite new product you’ve tried? Le Creme Blush de Chanel in 69 Intonation. What a gorgeous formula!
Last product you returned/gave away? Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Thankful… well, I did not give it away or return it yet, but I’m not really happy with the Tarte blush formula. Maybe it’s the color or–honestly, I have no idea what it is. The crustiness of the blushes whenever I tried to swatch it in-store always turned me off, and even though it’s definitely better when it’s new and covered up, I’m just not sold on Tarte blushes when I’m so in love with creamier formulas! Or the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes.

Favorite new product you’ve tried?: MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NW13. It’s made such a difference in how my makeup looks and it’s even helped clear up my skin some!
Last product you returned/gave away?: Two things: Maybelline Colossal Smokey Eyes mascara – horrible, didn’t do much to my lashes. I figured it was a safe buy because I love the original; and Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush. It didn’t show up on me at all.

– Favorite new product you’ve tried? Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. I actually really like this product. At first I thought it was just hype, but then I gave it another try. My skin looks so lovely when I use it.

Skintone – light neutral beige
Last product I finished – UD cream eyeshadow in Moonshine. It was a great base for creating a white canvas to work colors on my lids.
Favorite new product – I’ve been on a blush kick lately. I bought two of the Clinique daisy imprinted blushes and then had to go back and get the other two. I really want that product to kick off and get new colors added to it. I even bought my 13 year old sister Plum Pop. They’re awesome!
Last return/give away – I cleared out a crap load of the older UD eyeshadows in the subway token pans. I was into the chunky glitter in my teens but now at 23 it’s too juvenile for me. Little sister was very happy though!
Light-Medium Neutral – Sand Beige in Laura Mercier Silk Creme
My Guerlain Mascara which I loved but it’s too expensive to keep buying.
I’m loving my Hourglass blushes and want more!!!

Favorite new product you’ve tried: MUFE Face and Body foundation (good so far), Urban Decay Naked skin loose powder in deep, it’s a really decent powder, and the Jordana lip liners….freaking love them they’re sooooo pigmented and have great staying power

Last product you returned/gave away? I found a couple old Avon lipsticks and a Smashbox matte shadow in a box in my closet and gave them away. It’s been a while since I returned something…maybe the Kat von D lipstick I was allergic to last spring.
Oh yeah, last fall I returned NARS soft touch shadow pencil in Aigle Noir because it creased out, ran, and disappeared in an hour both times I wore it.

Last product you returned/gave away: I gave away loreal true match foundation to a friend. It was way too dark for my skin tone. That’s why I rarely buy drug store foundations. You can’t try them on or get help with matching.

Last product you returned/gave away? Cargo Suited to Tea cream eyeshadow palette. While I like the sheerer colors, I did NOT like how, no matter what base/primer I used, the eyeshadows creased in MINUTES!! Even if I don’t use an eyeshadow primer, I usually get 6hrs without creasing with cream shadows. Such a shame…

Returned: OMG, so annoyed! Have to return the HG mood exposure to Sephora, bec. it was broken. I try to check products before purchase, but they really frown on that. I get something crappy about 1 in 9 or 10 items, for makeup. (And success with appliances is even worse,1 out of every 3 or 4 is defective.) The receipt blew away, when I put the bag on the car hood, and it turns out I was glad i chased it down in the high wind!

Favorite new product you’ve tried? Guerlain Rouge G in Gigolo. Not only did I get lots of complimetns but that shade didn’t need a single touch up the entire time I wore it!
Last product you returned/gave away? MAC Potent Fig lipstick. I loved the color but tend to wear reds more often. I gave it to my roommate who’s an NW25 and rocks the purple lip like none other.

Favorite new product you’ve tried? Naked 3 palette
Last product you returned/gave away? The Too Faced mascara that comes with the fibres. I may as well have just rubbed the wand directly on my eyeball as that’s where the fibres ended up anyway, and the ones that didn’t ended up at right angles on the ends of my lashes. My daughter can make it work though.

Last product returned or given away: i gave my daughter my barely used elizabeth arden beautiful mascara, only because I love my Chanel mascara more and am trying to cut down on unnecessary mascaras. Shame I’m not applying that to lipsticks – my stash is growing ever larger!!

Favorite new product you’ve tried? Surprisingly, a Stila lipgloss – Candy Apple. I’ve never tried one because they looked “meh” to me, but I actually really like it. Not keen on the packaging though – I don’t mind the paintbrush applicator, but it annoys me that half of the tube is packaging. It’s a huge waste of space IMO.
Last product you returned/gave away? The last thing I returned was some MUFE HD foundation. I really didn’t like the formula.

Favorite new product you’ve tried? It’s only new to me because I recently purchased it, but my LORAC Pro Palette. I’ve been searching for a neutral palette I love, and I’ve finally found it! It’s the only eyeshadow I use now.
Last product you returned/gave away? Nothing recently as I’ve loved all my purchases in my last few shopping trips.

Last product you finished?: Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid. Just last night, actually!
Favorite new product you’ve tried?: This isn’t exactly new, but I’m still obsessed over Jordana Twist & Shine in Terra Crave that I got a few months back.
Last product you returned/gave away?: VIva Glam Nicki Lipstick. I haven’t given it away yet, though, but I’m certainly planning to. It was a gift and it has only been swatched once, but I can tell it’s not a color I favor on myself.

Last product you finished? Maxfactor False Lash Effect Mascara as it is something I wear regulary I go through it quicker whereas my blushers/lip colours last me FOREVER.

Favorite new product you’ve tried? Ambient lighting blushes. Ah-mazing. Also the REN radiance serum, really loving the lightweight texture but it’s made such a difference with my skin over the past month!
Last product you returned/gave away? I rarely return products since most I get are online (could/ should probably still try to return things that don’t work for me). I have a whole bag of thing to give away since I recently went through my stash! Benefit’s fine one one, curling irons (I have others I use more regularly), Pixi palettes I don’t use, some ELF products that don’t work for me… It’s the first time I’ve cleaned out my stash in about a year so there’s a small bag full! I’ve also passed on some face bases to my mom if they’re too pale for me 😀
Skin-NC20/finished-Smashbox CC cream/New product-NYX Buttergloss in Eclair/I ditched my MAC Paint Pot in Indianwood because the orange undertones made my skin look very sallow.

Last product you finished? I only have about 1 use left of my rimmel wake me up foundation, i love it to death but it is such a hassle to get a hold of in the states. Also I just finished a tube of maybelline 1 by 1 mascara- it was good, but nothing special, I want to try a different one this time.
Favorite new product you’ve tried? the body shop honey bronzer in fair-amazing bronzer for us pale girls
Last product you returned/gave away? I gave my rubenesque paint pot to my friend because I’d had it for a year, and never reached for it, but she loves it and uses it all the time
