We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Your skin tone/coloring: medium – yellow
Favorite sheer coverage foundation? PMG Skin Fetish: Sublime Foundation in Light Medium 13
Favorite higher coverage foundation? Hard one…Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r 290 or Dior Backstage in 3N
Favorite foundation applicator? Depends on the product, but I’m mostly a blush gal, though sponge applies very nicely (but I don’t like the amount of product you use with it).
Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral skin tone, green eyes, almost-black hair with natural gray highlights
Favorite sheer coverage foundation? I don’t use sheer foundation.
Favorite higher coverage foundation? Estée Lauder Double Wear in Desert Beige
Favorite foundation applicator? I’ve been using the Sephora #56 brush for years, but today I decided to switch to a Real Techniques sponge for a while to see how that goes.
YOUR SKIN TONE/COLORING:
Under my name; dark plum hair; hazel/green eyes.
FAVORITE SHEER COVERAGE FOUNDATION?
I don’t wear sheer foundations. As close as I get is BareMinerals Complexion Rescue in Porcelain, but that’s a tinted BB Cream. Sometimes I wear Tony Moly Cat’s Wink Clear Pact as a sheer powder foundation, which works really well on good skin days.
FAVORITE HIGHER COVERAGE FOUNDATION?
*Medium coverage — Laura Geller Baked Balance-n-Glow Color Correcting Foundation in Porcelain.
“Full coverage — Lancome Teint Idole 24H Long Wear Foundation in I090 voire N.
FAVORITE FOUNDATION APPLICATOR?
Liquid — Beauty sponge, usually ecoTools or Real Techniques.
Powder –BH Cosmetics ~ Studio Pro Total Coverage Powder Brush (DC)
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes, dark hair)
Favorite sheer coverage foundation? My Lumene BB cream in Medium that I have used for many years, and will continue to until they DC it!
Favorite higher coverage foundation? For rainproof, tear-proof, sweatproof lasting power that I can also get full coverage with: MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof foundation! So good that I have 3 shades of it, one for when I’m paler, another one for my typical summer depth, and one that a store MUA matched to me several years ago.
Favorite foundation applicator? Real Techniques Beauty Sponge!
Your skin tone/coloring: Light + neutral u/t
Favorite sheer coverage foundation? Armani luminous silk
Favorite higher coverage foundation? same foundation, I just build and use a different tool for application
Favorite foundation applicator? The Sonias: Sonia kashuk sponge or Sonia g sky smooth buffer.. depends on level of coverage desired.
Your skin tone/coloring: light medium cool neutral
Favorite sheer coverage foundation? Thrive Causemetics Buildable Blur CC Cream in 04
Favorite higher coverage foundation? Chanel Ultra Le Teint Ultrawear All Day Comfort Flawless Finish Foundation in B20
Favorite foundation applicator? Real Techniques or Colourpop Makeup sponge/blender
Your skin tone/coloring: Pale, cool
Favorite sheer coverage foundation? It’s no longer being made but it’s Shiseido Sheer and Perfect (or a powder foundation – one of several).
Favorite higher coverage foundation? Probably Diorskin Forever (yet again, a formula that’s been discontinued/reformulated/re-promoted…I dunno)
Favorite foundation applicator? For liquid foundation it has to be the flat topped Shiseido Perfect Foundation Brush (the 2 I have are the originals and have since been replaced with synthetic versions which don’t look nearly as good).
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Favorite sheer coverage foundation? Flower Beauty’s Serum foundation in its lightest shade of Ivory. It’s quite a light foundation, which means it only lasts for about 8 hours.
Favorite higher coverage foundation? I have a couple that I use: Medium coverage: L’Oreal’s True Match foundation in porcelain rose and Full Coverage is Flower Beauty’s Skin Illusion in Shell.
Favorite foundation applicator? Generally I use my fingertips after dotting the foundation around my face. I have never used sponges – don’t like the idea of them.
Your skin tone/coloring: under my name, brunette w/highlights, hazel eyes
Favorite sheer coverage foundation? I don’t use a sheer foundation
Favorite higher coverage foundation? CT Magic Foundation in 0 porcelain
Favorite foundation applicator? I quite often use my fingers when I’m in a hurry, but when I’m not I use Wayne Goss’s 02 Edit brush to apply foundation, after I have applied all my cream products I use a damp sponge to blend everything together.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light-medium with warm yellow undertones, dark brown hair and eyes
Favorite sheer coverage foundation? I just apply one sheer layer of my favorite high coverage foundation, I don’t see a reason to have a separate sheer one. I don’t think I tried anything sheer in 5-6 years. I remember I liked MAC Studio Waterweight Foundation and the Benefit Big Easy (which might be discontinued).
Favorite higher coverage foundation? Since they’re basically the same formula for me, Estee Lauder Double Wear and MAC Prolongwear Waterproof.
Favorite foundation applicator? My fingers.
Ilene- light skin, dark brown hair, dark green eyes
Skintone- I wear BB sand, Chanel waterlights med light
Favorite sheer coverage foundation: Rare Beauty Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer- wear 20W. It’s a bit light but when I tried another shade a bit deeper it was orange. It’s going back.
I also like the Chanel waterlights both original and the latest one. Med light in both, Also, the Chanel no 1 in B20. Has a little more coverage than the above.
I do not use full coverage foundation as I only use the above mentioned in areas of need. If more coverage is needed, I will use a concealer. I like the BB stick concealer in sand.
Favorite applicator- If I use the Chanel, I use included applicator. For the Rare Beauty either fingers or a damp sponge.
