Powder eyeshadow (current faves UD and Too Faced)
Powder blush (current faves Cheek Pop and Becca)
Lipgloss! (current fave Seohora Ultra Shine)

I love lipstick on other people, but I’m just never comfortable in it…

Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta hair; hazel/green eyes

Cream or powder blush? Powder, because I have oily skin. I wear some cream blushes, but mostly powders.

Cream or powder eyeshadow? Powder here, too, My eyelids are even oilier than the rest of my face. The only cream formula that doesn’t crease on me is ColourPop. The rest crease even with primer under them.

Lipstick or lipgloss? Lipstick. I wear lip gloss, too, but I’m a lipstick fiend.

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/pale with pink undertones
Cream or powder blush? Powder!
Cream or powder eyeshadow? Both! Though I prefer powder for blending/combination purposes.
Lipstick or lipgloss? Lipstick all the way! I very rarely wear gloss… too sticky.

Lauren Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/Light w/ Neutral undertones
Cream or powder blush? Powder blush. I have combo skin and feel like cream blushes dont cooperate with my skin like powder blushes do.
Cream or powder eyeshadow? Powder eyeshadow because usually creams crease faster on my lids. However I always use a Mac paint pot (and a primer) before I apply my shadow or no matter what I use it will crease within 2 hours.
Lipstick or lipgloss? Lipstick because there are satin/glossier options and matte options depending on what you want to wear. I do enjoy a good gloss but some can be sheer and not as comfortable sometimes.

Jenna Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair
Cream or powder blush? Usually powder, but sometimes cream
Cream or powder eyeshadow? Usually powder, but sometimes cream
Lipstick or lipgloss? Lipstick, though I love UD Revolution Lipgloss in Liar.

• NC44.5 to NC45

♥ Cream or powder blush?
❝ Powder blushes. All the way!! They have a longer shelf life. ❞

♥ Cream or powder eyeshadow?
❝ Ooooh, tricky, tricky! I like cream eyeshadows as bases or whenever I need a quick, 2-minute lid color. But I can’t deny my undying love for powder eyeshadows; and you get better control over the product’s application. ❞

♥ Lipstick or lipgloss?
❝ I just whimpered. I don’t wanna choose! LOL. OK. Since I’m a fan of vibrant and/or sultry, opaque lip colors, I’m choosing lipstick. If someone threw away my lipglosses, I’d cry for a while, but if someone threw away my lipsticks, HEADS WILL ROLL! Haha! ❞

Light/light medium with yellow undertones
Cream blush -lasts longer on my cheeks
Cream shadow with powder shadow on top – lasts longer on oily lids

•Your skin tone/coloring: Mine is extremely pale with cool yellow undertones and cool features.
•Cream or powder blush? I prefer powder blush!
•Cream or powder eyeshadow? I prefer Cream eyeshadow! I’m so happy this year brought Tom Ford’s cream colors to permanent status! ?
•Lipstick or lipgloss? I choose lipgloss! There are more hydrating formulas with extra benefits and they can look like lipstick! ?

Codename Duchess Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: light and cool toned
Cream or powder blush? Powder most frequently, but I do use creams too
Cream or powder eyeshadow? Again, powders most often, but I do use creams on a semi-regular basis
Lipstick or lipgloss? Lipstick, though I do use lipgloss on occasion!

Erica SC Avatar

Skin tone: Light / cool-neutral.
Preferences: Powder blush, Powder eyeshadow, and Lipstick ( gloss looks weird on me).

Off topic: I love Christine’s eyeshadow looks.

Kay Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Cool/light
Cream or powder blush? Powder is easier but love cream blush sticks.
Cream or powder eyeshadow? Cream
Lipstick or lipgloss? Lipstick. Everyday is liner and balm.

Millie Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: fair with pink undertones
Probably cream blush, although I don’t wear either very often
Powder eyeshadow just because I use it more, however creams can be really good as a base
Lipstick, always!

Nancy T Avatar

Your skintone/coloring: Medium w/olive undertones MAC NC37-40, deep brunette, teal green eyes w/ gold flecks.

Cream or powder blush: Even though I do like my Colourpop blushes, I still prefer a powder blush 80-90% of the time.

Cream or powder eyeshadow: Again, powder wins out for me. However, I love hybrid eyeshadow formulas, such as MUFE Artist Shadows, and I would still call Colourpop formula more of a hybrid than a true cream.

Lipstick or lip gloss: Lipstick!!! I love gloss sometimes to give my lipstick extra moisture or longevity, but still…lipstick is my jam!

Deidre Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: pale/light with pink undertones
Cream or powder blush? powder
Cream or powder eyeshadow? powder but I do like my Charlotte Tilbury’s cream eyeshadows for a quick eye look
Lipstick or lipgloss? lipstick, I used to be a lipgloss girl until last year and now I have WAY too many lipsticks and only a few glosses

Vanessa Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Medium Neutral MAC NC 30/35
Cream or powder blush? Powder for sure my favorite formula lately has been Clinique Pop blushes
Cream or powder eyeshadow? Cream stick formulas lately, they are super quick in the morning. I really like the Nars and Laura Mercier formulas
Lipstick or lipgloss? Lipstick for sure MAC Patisserie has been in my bag for over a month, the luster finish is perfect mix of creamy and shiny no need for a lipgloss

Kelly Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: light/medium with pink undertones
Cream or powder blush? Both!
Cream or powder eyeshadow? Both!
Lipstick or lipgloss? Lipstick is my preference because I can’t seem to find a good lipgloss that isn’t sticky/tacky.

Mariella Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Cream or powder blush? powder 99% of the time
Cream or powder eyeshadow? powder maybe 80 to 85% of the time though I love some of my cream shadows and also cream shadows in stick form from Sephora, Lise Watier, Bobbi Brown and Annabelle
Lipstick or lipgloss? Lipstick 99.9% of the time

Lisa Avatar

Light to medium with yellow undertones.

Powder blush for sure. I can’t afford shifting my base trying to blend a cream blush.

I generally use powder eyeshadow, but I have a few cream shadows that I love and wear from time to time.

Lipstick for sure. I went through a gloss phase when I was younger. I just don’t like the sticky feeling and getting hair in it…

Starfish628 Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: NW15
Cream or powder blush? Powder
Cream or powder eyeshadow? Powder
Lipstick or lipgloss? Lipstick girl all the way.

Gillian Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Fairest neutral. Would be something like NW00/NW05 if they existed!

Cream or powder blush? Powder. I like cream blush but with the foundations I use and my oily skin powder is the way to go. They’re also quick to throw on when I’m half asleep in the morning doing my makeup!

Cream or powder eyeshadow? I guess I can’t say both! If I had to choose I’d say powder, even though I tend to use a combination of both most days. Powder is more convenient though and you don’t have to worry about it drying out (although you have to watch that it doesn’t break)!

Lipstick or lipgloss? This is an easy one for me. I’m a lipstick girl all the way! I have far too many but I love them all. I can’t tell you the last time I wore lipgloss even though I do have quite a few. They just go all gloopy on my lips after a while because my lips are dry 24/7 due to my meds. o.0

Lulle Avatar

Cream or powder blush? Cream! Except for a few formulas that I find harder to blend, I feel like cream blush is easier to apply and looks more natural on me.
Cream or powder eyeshadow? I like both, but I may also have a slight preference for cream. I always want to try new cream formulas!
Lipstick or lipgloss? Lipstick! I prefer high impact color, and one thing I don’t like about gloss is how you feel it on your lips. Even worse when it’s tacky!

Fran Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: between fair and light; cool undertones with warm features; oily/normal combination skin
Cream or powder blush? usually powder, but cream sometimes, especially in the winter when my skin gets dehydrated
Cream or powder eyeshadow? mostly powder; sometimes cream, but cream eyeshadows work better as a base for for powder shadows for me than on their own (oily, hooded lids)
Lipstick or lipgloss? lipstick 99% of the time

Shannon Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair-Light cool (NW 15 or UD 2.0)
Cream or powder blush? Powder
Cream or powder eyeshadow? Powder
Lipstick or lipgloss? Lipstick/Winter lipgloss/Summer

Alecto Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: light to medium-light golden or yellow
Cream or powder blush? powder, because I’m oily
Cream or powder eyeshadow? I use both, but with a few exceptions, I tend to use the cream shadows as bases, even when they’re not intended as such (like ColourPop)
Lipstick or lipgloss? I despise lipgloss

Anne Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: NC15
Cream or powder blush? Powder!
Cream or powder eyeshadow? I don’t have a preference, though I tend to use cream eyeshadows for a single wash of color that looks like it has more dimension, and powder for more intricate looks, though I tend to prime my eyes with MAC Painterly either way.
Lipstick or lipgloss? Lipstick, really not a fan of lipgloss

Genevieve Avatar

Skin Tone: fair/ light porcelain
Powder Blush – currently using Natio’s Sunkissed palette – an Australian cruelty free brand and this blush is excellent.
Powder eye shadows – prefer satin, shimmery not glitter or matte
Lipstick – really dislike lip gloss (too sticky and dehydrating on my lips)

Tracey E. Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: fair to medum
Cream or powder blush? Both! Powder all year, cream winter-spring rarely in summer
Cream or powder eyeshadow? Same as above. Cream does not tolerate humidity well.
Lipstick or lipgloss? Always lipstick. Sometimes lipgloss over lipstick or an artstick but I never wear just lipgloss.I I consider the products with liquid lipstick on one end and clear lipgloss on the other end as “lipstick”

Rachel Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Dark warm
Cream or powder blush? Powder, but cream in the warmer months.
Cream or powder eyeshadow? Powder
Lipstick or lipgloss? Definitely, gloss. I like lipstick, but can’t live without gloss. Holiday gloss sets are my weakness bc I love to try new formulas and colors.

Diane Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: dark deep with red undertones
Cream or powder blush? powder , don’t love the cream formula
Cream or powder eyeshadow? powder but i just bought cream eyeshadow by kiko , hope it changes my mind
Lipstick or lipgloss? lipstick

Valentina Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: light-fair, fair skin with yellow neutral undertones
Cream or powder blush? I like both it depends on the look i want, I do tend to use the powder ones more as it is faster and easier to apply but i like the finish of the cream ones more
Cream or powder eyeshadow? Powder eyeshadow i just love that there are more color options and finishes
Lipstick or lipgloss? Lipstick, never really was a lipgloss kind of girl especially since i live in a windy country and I have long hair 😀 it’s a recipe for disaster
