Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/light with neutral undertone.
What’s your favorite silver eye product? My favorite is Tinsel from KVD MetalMatte Palette! It’s bright and its easy to apply.
What’s your favorite navy-hued beauty product? I don’t have a lot of navy-hued products… so probably the shade Untitled from Jean-Michel Tenant palette.
What’s your favorite way to add glitter to a look? I like just using my finger and adding it to the center of my lid!
♥ Your skin tone/coloring:
• Dark
• Warm/Golden undertone (touch of neutral)
• MAC NC44.5/45 or C7, MUFE 173, TO’s 3.0Y/3.1Y, IMAN Clay Medium/2
♥ What’s your favorite silver eye product?
• NYX Ultra Pearl Mania [Pigment] in (LP04) SILVER
❝ An oldie, but a goodie! ❞
♥ What’s your favorite navy-hued beauty product?
• theBalm shadyLady single eyeshadow in RISQUE RENEE
❝ It’s such an intense navy-blue shade. ❞
♥ What’s your favorite way to add glitter to a look?
❝ I normally avoid glitter since oily skin is my mortal enemy. But when I do gather up the courage, I usually dab a glitter eyeshadow shade on the center of my lids to make my eyes pop. ❞
RISQUE RENEE is on my wish list for quite some time!
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/cool
What’s your favorite silver eye product? LM Sterling Caviar Stick
What’s your favorite navy-hued beauty product? None
What’s your favorite way to add glitter to a look? I don’t wear ‘glitter,’ but if I did, I’d be using a good glitter glue.
Skintone / coloring : light, MAC NC 20, med brown hair and eyes
Favorite way to add silver: I don’t usually but I want to get back into wearing silver…it’s been years. I picked up MAC Electra and I have a sliver eyeliner from Loreal Infallible. I might pull those out
Favorite navy hued product : Again I don’t really wear navy. I picked up MAC Nehru from a CCO. I plan on doing more navy liner with an eyeshadow type of thing but I wouldn’t say I have any stand-bys.
Favorite way to add glitter: Ive been obsessed with MAC pressed pigments. I loved wearing those all over the eyelid. Day Gleam is a favorite!
Your skin tone/coloring: light, neutral
What’s your favorite silver eye product? UD Cuff pencil. Gorgeous on the inner v!
What’s your favorite navy-hued beauty product? MELT DoGAF maybe? It’s not my favorite blue lipstick, but honestly I don’t really wear navy. I very rarely wear blue on my eyes.
What’s your favorite way to add glitter to a look? With LIT Glitter! I especially love their large size glitters. Champagne Wishes is honestly probably the most beautiful glitter I’ve ever seen. It’s beige with rainbow sparkle and the large sizes still have small particles mixed in, which looks complex and amazing. Cher (silver with multicolored reflects) is also great. LIT’s stuff is all fantastic though TBH.
Lt-med, coolish. Silver: lots of good ones. The one in metal/matte and in Bijoux royale come to mind, as well as UD liners. Navy: real navy, ‘old’ ColourPop Baby T. Off navy: mufe Prussian blue and CP burnout, from the original powder palette. But I still want a mini squid ink! That’s gorgeous. Glitter, well it has to be minimal at my age, so usually upper liner or hit in the center…like with dawn to dusk.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
What’s your favorite silver eye product? UD Pistol and Verve from Naked 2 and Shellshock from UD Vice 2. It’s not a shade that I use a lot.
What’s your favorite navy-hued beauty product? I love a good navy, but they are very difficult to find. A perfect one is Shiseido’s navy in their trio Snow Shadow – the grey in the trio complements the navy really well. It has a matte/satin finish which makes it easier to use without looking over the top.
What’s your favorite way to add glitter to a look? In my younger days I loved a bit of glitter on my lips and eyes, but I don’t use glitter now on my eyes – too worried about fall out into my eye.
Genevieve, thank you for jogging my memory! How did I totally forget UD Verve??? I love that silvery, slightly pink toned shade in my inner corners when I use YDK on the lid!
It is a beautiful shade Nancy and it’s great to drag out Naked 2 for a play. I love the YDK shade too.
I’ve also got Verve but I think of it as taupe, rather than “silver”. To me, “silver” is that cold, icy shade like Too Faced In a Flash or Ooh and Aah – much harder to wear than Verve, at least for me. Those shivery silver shades are ones I find more challenging to wear but Verve – I love it and find it an easy-wearin’ shadow.
Skin tone: Very pale with cool undertones, MAC NW5-10.
Favorite silver eye product: Ellis Faas Lights, E301 Antique Silver.
Favorite navy eyeshadow: MUG Center Stage for a foiled deep blue and Boo Berry.
Favorite way to add glitter to a look: I rarely add glitter but if I do it is in the form of a glitter liner or topcoat. I do have and use glitter glue but if I can find one that is already in a base I would rather do that and save the mess of adding glitter.
I just pulled out my Antique Silver to wear to a party recently and was not able to get it to click any product up. I think my applicator may be clogged, there is no way I have used it all. I didn’t have time to fuss with it, and until I saw this had forgotten about it. Have you ever had your pen get clogged/figure a way to get it to work again? Thanks in advance if you have any ideas!
Karen J.
Sorry I haven’t experienced this problem. I have had my pen for probably almost 2 years. It still clicks up. I was worried about it since I don’t use silver everyday and wondered how it would hold up but no problems. I don’t have any ideas for a solution. Maybe try contacting them and see what they say?
This product is quite problematic in packaging. Although I am very careful with my belongings, I have the same problem with my Creamy Eyes in E127 and have used it only twice.
I’m MAC NW10 in winter NW13-15 in summer. Black hair, black eyes.
Favorite silver product: Don’t really have one, so I’ll say maybe a MUFE eyeshadow.
Favorite navy hued product: a Sephora brand eyeliner. I’ve bought more than I can remember. Its a pearl finish, gel liner so it goes on very smoothly, lasts all day, doesn’t travel, but comes off without too much rubbing. Love it.
Glitter: AVOID IT, LOL.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
What’s your favorite silver eye product? I honestly don’t have one!
What’s your favorite navy-hued beauty product? Probably a navy blue/black pencil liner from Lise Watier that I sometimes use on my lower waterline
What’s your favorite way to add glitter to a look? probably tapping/pressing onto the middle of my lid using my finger, or a bit on the inner corners of my eye with a very tiny brush.
My skin tone/coloring: fair/light with coolish neutral undertones
What’s your favorite silver eye product? Eyeliners! My favorites are the Anastasia Liquid Silver and the Melt Rx Queen pencils. I’m a little bit more picky about eyeshadows. I prefer gunmetal, gray, charcoal, etc. to straight up silver.
What’s your favorite navy-hued beauty product? I don’t really wear/own navy makeup, so the Zoya nail polish in Hey, Sailor.
What’s your favorite way to add glitter to a look? Generally, on the eyes (I don’t like it anywhere else). More specifically, I love the UD Moondust eyeshadows, and I just got some of the Nabla Celestial finish eyeshadows.
Skin tone: pale, olive-ish yellow side of neutral
Favorite silver eye product: maybe ColourPop’s liner in Kicker? It’s SO silver and shiny, it looks molten.
Favorite navy product: Kat Von D’s Studded Kiss lipstick in Poe!
Favorite way to add glitter: a glitter eye liner is the least-messy method, a glitter lip gloss is the easiest. Depends on how much other makeup I’m wearing!
Your skin tone/coloring: Medium w/ olive undertones MAC NC37, Lancôme Teint Idole Foundation N360, Fenty 260 or 290, deep brunette, blue-green eyes w/ gold flecks.
What’s your favorite silver eye product? Um, straight up silver? None! But silver hued, I can do! ColourPop Glitterati or Nyx Beanie (DC’d) are 2 silvery shades that I do like a lot! Does Nars Calisto count? Because that is my fave!
What’s your favorite navy-hued beauty product? The teal hued navy UD Prank eyeshadow in the Urban Spectrum palette in an intense smoky eye look with brighter, greener teal and lime in a peacock look!
What’s your favorite way to add glitter to a look? As a mid-lid halo eye effect, for one! Or a refined glitter infused lip gloss like Bite Prismatic Lip Cremes.
Skin tone/coloring: Fait/light, neutral to cool undertones.
What’s your favorite silver eye product? I don’t have any silver eye product.
What’s your favorite navy-hued beauty product? My beloved Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Solo Eyeshadow in no. 2.
What’s your favorite way to add glitter to a look? No expert here as the only glitter I use for the eyes is the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in Rose Gold. I apply it in a thin layer using the RT accent brush, on the portion of my lid that is closer to the lash line; I find that in this way, I do not risk that the glitter particles transfer to the brow bone or into the lashes.
Skin coloring: Fair/cool,
ABH silver eyeliner for my silver,
Assorted navy eyeliners, have a multitude
Tarte has two liquid glitter eye liners, one in silver and gold, love them!
Your skin tone/coloring: NC15 w/some redness
What’s your favorite silver eye product? Eye shadow- ColourPop Liberty, Eye liner- Urban Decay Dime
What’s your favorite navy-hued beauty product? Eye shadow- MAC Contrast; Eye liner- Marc Jacobs (Over)night
What’s your favorite way to add glitter to a look? I rarely use it, but if I need some I’ll go for some MAC pigment using a brush sprayed with something like Fix+ and usually pat it on the center of the lid.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair skin with neutral undertones and freckles, warm brown hair, blue/green/gray eyes.
What’s your favorite silver eye product? Coloupop Super Shock Shadow in Koosh… it’s so bright and glossy!
What’s your favorite navy-hued beauty product? L’Oreal has a great Infallible Eyeshadow in Midnight Blue that I love!
What’s your favorite way to add glitter to a look? I actually prefer just shimmery / glossy eyeshadows versus glitter. I find that even if I use a sticky base of some sort, I still end up with glitter particles on my face. Plus, it’s just not practical for someone that works in an office environment and wears glasses every day! lol
Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
What’s your favorite silver eye product? ColourPop SSS in Liberty. Stunning!
What’s your favorite navy-hued beauty product? Kat von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in Poe and NARS Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow in Giove (I love it as an eyeliner).
What’s your favorite way to add glitter to a look? Either a glittery lipgloss or a glittery eyeshadow in the middle of the eyelid.
GASP – I’d forgotten about Giove. I have it in the dual intensity palette and it is SO lovely. Rachel, thanks for reminding me that I have it; I should take it out and use it, especially now that the holidays are here!
I need to use mine more, too. Especially considering what it cost! lol 😉
Skin tone/coloring: Light to medium, neutral slightly yellow
Favorite silver eye product: Inglot 151
Favorite navy-hued beauty product: Pure Sapphire eye kohl from sisley, although hard in formula, the color and shine is stunning and sophisticated.
For glitter I just use my finger to dab in place.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair/warm
What’s your favorite silver eye product? NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Pots & Pans
What’s your favorite navy-hued beauty product? elf Satin Pencil Eyeliner in Navy
What’s your favorite way to add glitter to a look? On my lids, in the form of glittery eyeshadow.
