Most used face/cheek product this month? I’ve pretty much settled into using the Illasmaqua Skin Base and my rotation of powders so they’re nothing earth shattering. I have Over 4 dozen blushes, highlighters, contour products so I tend to rotate them each time I do a makeup application so it’s hard to pick a most used. Perhaps it might be a tie between the contour in the Tarte Don’t Be Afraid to Dazzle palette or the Illamasqua Sculpting Gel since those are currently my only 2 contour products on rotation.
Most used eye product this month? Hahahahahahahahaha! I have hundreds of eye products and like the highlighters and blushes, I try to change them up every day I do makeup. I don’t think I’ve used the same product more than once any day in the month of December. I still have dozens of shades (shadow, mascara, and liner) I haven’t even tried yet!
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair with pink undertones, like MAC NW 15-18.
Favorite product this month? Setting spray in general. I realized that applying setting spray after primer but prior to foundation gives my makeup an improved look and feel, my products apply more smoothly and hold better. MY favorite for this purpose is Blue Marble. (But it’s theater quality and you can definitely feel it on the skin!)
Most used face/cheek product this month? Most used is always my Cle de Peau Luminizing Face Enhancer. Such easy makeup, really makes minimal days a breeze, gives the face just enough life!
Most used eye product this month? I’ve been using a new method of lining my eyes — mixing Inglot Duraline with Kryolan Dermacolor, and then setting with Sugarpill Bulletproof. This has been my most consistently used rotation for eye makeup.
Your skin tone/coloring: I am fair with olive/warm undertones
Favorite product this month?: It’s hard picking just one favorite but I’ve been really enjoying the Soap & Glory Sexy Motherpucker lip gloss in Plumsup- it’s a comfortable gloss that has a nice tingly sensation. I don’t find that it plumps my lips very much but the shade and gloss just really makes my lips look like perfection.
Most used face/cheek product this month?: Wet n’ Wild Coloricon blush in Rosé Champagne. I love using it when I don’t have much time to put a face together because it has the perfect neutral undertones for my complexion that works as a blush and bronzer type of product, and the shimmer gives a slightly illuminated look that I love. I love applying it with my ELF Complexion brush because I can really fan it out and get a smooth flawless finish.
Most used eye product this month?: I’m SO in love with my NYX Avant Pop eyeshadow palette in Nouveau Chic! I ordered it last month, but I’ve really been getting into it this month and I’m so impressed with this palette! I don’t understand why I don’t hear people talking about it because the shades, mattes and shimmers, are phenomenally pigmented and blendable. The shades all work well together and it’s a neutral palette with a little kick with the lavender and rich purple shades so it’s more interesting for me who enjoys a little something more than just a neutral look. I imagine this being the perfect travel palette because it has all the shades I need, plus some to keep it interesting, and because I’m fair, I can get away with using some shades as blushes and highlights. Seriously so in love and I can’t stop telling my friends about it!
Gabriella, what does your Rose Champagne look like? I have two–1 is more of a light peachy bronze and 1 is a medium rose pink; both are quite buildable and shimmery.

Most used face/cheek product this month? I received the Stila “Sending My Love” gift set earlier this month and have been using the bronzer, cheek color, and highlighter everyday since. It’s a solid gift set for the price.

Your skin tone/coloring: Dark/Cocoa
Favorite product this month? HMM, that’s hard to say. I got a new brow brush that has been a favorite to use with my Sigma Eyebrow duo powder. The brush is nothing special or well known but it’s angle, length, and bristles have been just right!
Most used face/cheek product this month? finishing off my Becca min highlighter from last years Sephora Give Me More set.
Most used eye product this month? I have actually not worn a lot of eye product this month. I’d say my Coastal Scents Fall palette has been used the most this month

Most used eye product this month: Oh, that’s hard! Colourpop Koosh and Prickly Pear have definitely been used a lot, so has Puppy Love and Catnap, too. Have also been incorporating CP Mittens and Viseart Chroma into looks quite often. Koosh goes so well with Chroma!

Most used eye product this month? MAC Burgundy x Nine palette
. Fair Neutral Porcelain (apprx. N2-05, KVD L41-2, Bobbi Brown Alabaster/Porcelain, etc) with cool-toned features.
Favorite Product This Month: Kind of a boring pick but maybe the MAC Mixing Medium in Shine. It’s one of the few mixing mediums I hadn’t tried yet and I love it. Super easy to use and get the exact right amount of product. More precise than liquid mixing mediums for sure. It also makes a really nice eye primer in a pinch and definitely plays well with primers/bases. I’m also really loving Tom Ford’s Dominic from the Lips and Boys collection. It’s a gorgeous matte red that lasts forever. Sure I don’t need another matte red but I’m glad I picked this up and have been using it a lot.
Most-Used Face/Cheek: I’ll stick with colors instead of going over the usual base products of course. Definitely played around with my Alchemist Palette a lot, especially mixing it with Mac Extra Dimension/ABH Moonchild/Pat McGrath/Looxie/etc and so forth on duo/fun colored highlights.
Most-Used Eye: Because it’s been so absolutely freezing I’ve been either skipping liner and using shadow in its place or sticking with the tried and true Tom Ford dual-eyelining pen since I know it’s weather/eye watering proof on me. Definitely bases have been important too haha. Since the UD Afterdark came out so recently that’s gotten a ton of use as well. I quite like it since it’s more like classic UD quality. The Touch in Sol dual-ended Metallist and Glitter eye shadows have been life-savers this season as always since you get such an incredible eye look that appears complex with minimal effort. They wear so well and application is a breeze.
OOOOh Touuch in Sol. Forgot abut this. Sometimes I will do the gold base with the burgundy glitter, or vice versa to mix things up. Kapow!
They are SO incredibly great, aren’t they? Ridiculously high-quality. I like mixing and matching them too. I’m always glad to hear of other people loving them since I think they’re not as well-known a product as they should be.
Should say NW lol. Clearly my phone was not pleased with me. Sorry for typos!
Skin tone: Fair with neutral undertones
Favorite product this month: Marc Jacobs Air Blush in Flesh & Fantasy
Most used face/cheek product this month: Nars Douceur blush and Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer.
Most used eye product this month: My Kat Von D Shade & Light eye palette got a lot of use!
That MJ blush has been mentioned by so many people that it’s moving it higher and higher up my list.
I don’t regret splurging on it! They look like nothing swatched, but do amazing things on the cheeks.
Hi Anne —
If you were to ask me the product that disappointed me the most in 2016 it would be the Marc Jacobs Air Blush. I really liked it at first, and then I didn’t at all. It didn’t give the payoff I like, I found it a nuisance to build, and it didn’t last on *me* the way it seems to on some others. I gave it to my son’s GF. 🙂 We’re all so different. But I know I’m an outlier on this one. Everyone else seems to love it.
Good to know. I’ll have to be extra scrupulous when checking it out in person.
Skin Tone: Very fair/pale with cool undertones.
Favorite Product this month: Mac Skinfinish in Soft Frost. I have loved this all month using it daily for the just right amount of wintery white color.
Most Used Face and Cheek product: The above mentioned skinfinish would win hands down but I am going to take advantage of the question to sneak in another favorite. I have been using Marc Jacobs Remarkable foundation all month and as I have played with ways to apply it and mixing my own concoctions I have hit on the perfect combination and have worn it everyday since. My concoction includes 3 of my favorite products. I am mixing one pump of the Chosungah 22 Luminous Light Foundation which comes in a unique delivery system. The top lid comes off and then you twist the top and when you twist one way you get the foundation and the other way you get the serum. Each time you turn you get a predetermined amount of the product. So, I am loving taking one twist of the foundation and one twist of the serum and then I had 2 droppers of the Remarkable foundation and mix on the top of the Chosungah dispenser. This makes the perfect almost complete coverage of my hyperpigmentation. I think the Remarkable would give me the same coverage if I used it on it’s own but it feels drying on my skin so this works for me.
Most used eye product of the month: I can’t just name one. I have been loving the combination of KVD Metalcrush shadow in Thunderstruck along with Ellis Faas Light Eyes in E301 Antique Silver and a pale transition shade like Mac Omega blended very lightly in the crease for definition. Pair this with Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip color in Red Velvet and you have my entire winter look, LOL.
I have been eyeing the Mac Skinfinish in Soft Frost for a while and may just have to splurge on it after my bank account recovers from the latest MAC X Selena launch.
It’s definitely very nice. I recommend Soft Frost.
Coloring: fair-light NC20.

Most used eye product: Hmmm – a taupe grey shimmer from the It palette.
Skintone: fair-light, warm undertone (NC15.)
Favorite product this month: Becca mineral blush in Flowerchild. I am late to Becca blushes, but after buying the holiday blush palette (on sale) I am fully on that train. Flowerchild is my PERFECT everyday shade, but I’m trying to save it for spring in order to use my usual fall/winter colours.
Most used face/cheek product: Hourglass Mood Exposure/Nars Isadora/theBalm Pinstripe (my aforementioned fall/winter blush shades) all in the rotation.
Most used eye product: ABH MR palette. It’s strange, because I actually suffered some buyer’s remorse after bring this one home, but I have been using it a ton (much more than my Mario palette, to be sure.) Honourable mention to theBalm’s Schwing liquid eyeliner. This stuff is matte, super black, and a pleasure to use.
Your skin tone/coloring: Medium-tan with warm undertones (NC40)
Favorite product this month? Jeffree Star Androgynous. Late on the bandwagon but I can definitely see what the hype was about.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Makeup Geek Summer Fling

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair cool to neutral with dark auburn hair and dark green-grey eyes.
Favorite product this month? DHC Velvet Skin Coat primer.
Most used face/cheek product this month? The DHC face primer and BareMinerals Complexion Rescue in 01 Opal. Also Paul and Joe blusher from Fall 2015 in 003 Café Calva, a salmon and coral duo. Really warms up my face.
Most used eye product this month? I’ve not really been wearing eye makeup but I did wear the gold and dark green glitter eyeshadows from the Sleek i-lust Hidden Gems palette on Xmas Day.
Your skin tone/coloring: NC15 w/some redness

Most used face/cheek product would be either the same ELF highlighter or Clinique Cheek Pop in Ginger Pop.
Most used eye product would be the MUFE Artist Shadow palette, specifically the darling brown and gold shadows. I love them so much that I reordered another palette when Sephora put it on sale.
Your skin tone/coloring: very fair, neutral/warm
Favorite product this month? My skin has been cranky (too much time working in unheated warehouses and clearing snow outside, I guess!), so my favorite product this month is skincare — Missha Time Revolution Ampoule + Fresh Seaberry Oil are helping a lot.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Laura Geller Plumberry blush–it gives a very nice cold-weather flush!
Most used eye product this month? A Bobbi Brown mascara sample (do not care for it, will be glad when it’s gone).
C1 light olive
Favourite: Clarins Fix Makeup setting spray, (but it’s almost finished and I might try MAC Fix+ next), TheBalm Balmshelther tinted moisturizer, MAC Show Orchid liptick (it’s new for me and I’m in love!)
Face: MAC Careblend powder (favourite setting powder), Catrice green primer (under fdn or mixed with fdn),
Eye: Bare Minerals Round the Clock 11pm eyeliner for upper waterline (discontinoued unfortunately), L’Oreal Miss Manga Rock/Punk mascara
Hi,
Just be sure to use a setting spray with the fix plus, because the fix plus isnt actually a setting spray
Sierra is right. Fix+ is excellent for melding powder to your makeup or skin and giving a skin-like finish. It’s also great for priming the skin or as a foiling medium. However, it’s not a setting or fixing spray despite the name. It can help a bit, but not like a proper setting or fixing spray. Setting sprays will, as the name suggests, set your makeup in place and can also help diminish powder like Fix+. Fixing sprays fix the makeup to the face and allow maximum wear time increase. Though some people get by just fine using a setting spray instead of a fixing spray.
Your skin tone/coloring: NC-15 to 20, neutral
Favorite product this month? Always MUFE HD Stick in 117 (marble), then new one Tarte Glow Palette
Most used face/cheek product this month? Tate glow palette for face and eyes. Surprise wonderful thing. “Sculpt” in crease, then a dab of highlight with finger in center.
Most used eye product this month? Tate Shape Tape.
I don’t know why I am groooving on Tarte this month. The glow palette and shape tape are really hitting the mark.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light Medium, NC20ish
Favorite product this month? First Aid Beauty ultra repair cream. I grabbed the super size (340g) on Beautyexpert when there was a big discount, and have been using it almost everyday as a body cream this month. It greatly improved my particularly dry legs this year, and I can feel it on the skin for the rest of the day. My husband also loves it for his ezcema / psoriasis.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Lancôme miracle cushion, it’s the only foundation that doesn’t dry out my skin in this weather. And for point makeup, it’s Kevyn Aucoin highlighter in Starlight, I also scored this for only €30 in Beautybay’s Black Friday sale. I prefer this color to KA’s candlelight. It kind of adds a rosy flush/sheen on my complexion, but I have to be careful not to apply too much.
Most used eye product this month? Charlotte Tilbury eyes to mesmerize cream eyeshadow in Jean. It’s a beautiful light champagne color with a great pearlescent sheen, but can you believe this not-so-cheap eyeshadow expires in 6M? So I’m using it quite a bit everytime I do my eye makeup, either as a highlighting lid color or tear duct highlight.
Your skin tone/coloring: DARK, WARM

Most used eye product this month? It’s always Kat von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper!
Skin: light/medium, neutral
Favorite product: maybe my new colourpop ultra matte liquid lipstick in Avenue- a deep burgundy-red.
Face/cheek: enjoying my e.l.f. Cream blush palette in deep, though I’ve been going pretty bare on my face this month to play up my lips.
Eyes: my most used is my Mirenesse mascara (a tubing mascara… no smudging!), but lately my lashes have been going all directions and looking sparse so I wonder if I need to switch mascaras.
My skin tone: pale and warm (NC15);
Favorite product this month: Kat Von D lock-it concealer cream;
Most used face/cheek product: Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette;
Most used eye product: MAC paint pot in Soft Ochre-I use it just about every day either as a base for powder eye shadow or stand alone on days when I don’t wear much makeup.

Your skin tone/coloring: very fair/cool
Favorite product this month? Color-wise I’m going with the Sisley Phyto lip mat in 17 and 18. For skincare its Cle de Peau Softening Cleanser. My skin was getting dry with all the forced heat and this has been fantastic without disrupting my double cleanse preference. You only need the smallest pea size and you’ll get an amazing lather – not foam but a moisturizing lather. I used way to much the first few times not realizing how potent it was. Highly recommend for normal to dry skin types suffering v with cold and dry air.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Tie between the La Mer The Powder and Laura Mercier matte baked highlight in #1
Most used eye product this month? I’ve been wearing a lot of simple, but dramatic mascara looks to go with a bold lip; but I’m also still really enjoying the Tom Ford A/W16 duo with the deeper shades from Honeymoon. It’s one of my favorite eye lols right now.

Most used face/cheek product this month: Tarte blush in Sensual
Most used eye product this month: MUFE eyeshadows
