Most used face/cheek product this month? My choice foundation and blush choices haven’t varied .
So I’ll choose Smashbox photo finish primer water. I hate the feel of most conventional primers. It could all be hype, but it seems to lay a friendly canvas for foundation without the weight.
Most used eye product this month? Seem to be going for the same sorbet looking crease combo – ABH Brikin blown out to brow bone and ABH Dusty Rose to deepen heavier in crease.

Fave product this month: Marc Jacobs Social Butterfly Eye Shadow Palette – I hadn’t used it in awhile but pulled it out of my stash and so glad I did. It’s even nicer than I had remembered.
Most used face/cheek product: Benefit Dandelion Dew Pink Liquid Blush – I received this as a GWP and have almost used it up. I may have to buy the full-size.

Most used eye product this month? Now that I bought it; Milani Eyeshadow Primer. And it has made all the difference in how my super metallic shades of eyeshadow apply! UD Heavy Metal actually looks amazingly shiny and shimmery over Milani’s primer.

Isn’t Sephora’s Tranquil a great product? I think they discontinued it (they drop so many of their really good makeup and skincare items and it’s a shame). For us pale-toned folks, Tranquil is great for face and even eye contouring without looking obvious.
I heard it was discontinued, too. When it went on sale for $7, I bought three backups. It’s so perfect for pale skin.
Skin tone: Very fair with cool undertones.
Favorite product this month: Chosungah 22 foundation.
Most used face/cheek product: Coffret d’Or blushes. I purchased four from fudejapan on IG and am loving them. Each blush looks like a swirled sucker with a luminous white around the outside and it makes the perfect slightly luminous blush when swirled all together. I love slightly luminous blushes as they actually work better than using a separate highlighter on me.
Most used eye product: Well, I use the Dr. Dennis Gross eye gel but since that is a staple for me I am going to go with Milk Makeup Eye Pigment in Hotel Lobby. I have been using it just on the middle of my mobile lid as a spotlight highlight and have been loving it. I didn’t really expect to like it and my only complaint is that it seems to dry down really fast so you have to work quickly.

Favorite product this month? I’ve been changing up my skincare routine (moving off of Proactiv), and I started using the Kate Somerville AntiBac! I’m in LOVE with it! For those who suffer from acne, this is a game changer!

Favourite product this month? It has been insanely cold here in Montreal for the past few days (-40C tonight w/ the chill factor) and the combination of Weleda Calendula Intensive Skin Recovery Cream and the BioRegenrate Oil from Pai Skincare, has been my savior. I use this combo in the evening and by morning, my skin is so hydrated and smooth. During the day, I use a very small amount of the Weleda cream on my cheeks and forehead (it is quite thick). It’s the only cream that provides my skin w/ a protective barrier against the cold.

It’s crazy cold here in Toronto, too (but never as cold as Montreal!). What i have found to be a great hydration enhancer is the Josh Rosebrook spray. Spray (like a finishing spray) before your moisturizers, serums, etc. and it truly helps enhance any product. Any of Josh Rosebrook’s skin care is truly amazing!!
NW of TO in the boonies and it’s bloody cold. Not as bad as poor Nicole in Montreal….
Anyhow, I’m with you on the Josh Rosebrook spray. Wind chill days I two pump my hyaluronic acid serum and spray with Josh to lock. Then I apply Ceramidin moisturizer on top of that.
So not ready for February weather in December.
Thank you Helen! Just looked at the JR spray on Well.ca (it must be the Hydrating Accelerator). I will give it a try. Currently I’ve been using the Organic Rescue+Relief Spray from CV Skinlabs ( purchased it online from Clementine Fields, but you can find it at the Detox Market as well). The founder of the brand wanted to create a few products that respond to the needs of the persons whose skin is affected by the cancer treatments (her father had cancer). I don’t have cancer but I do have mild rosacea that is in a remission phase and dryness and this spray worked wonders for me. The ingredients are just a perfect anti-inflammatory and soothing mixture.
Happy that it’s not that cold in Toronto. It was brutal today in Mtl. Forget about makeup; this morning I just put some Laura Mercier Caviar Stick on my eyes, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick and out of the door. When outside, I just pulled the neck warmer to cover my mouth and nose. Walking for 15 minutes this morning became an extreme sport 🙂
