Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral skin tone, green eyes, dark hair

Favorite dewy foundation? I don’t wear dewy; I’m a matte gal!

Favorite tinted moisturizer/BB cream? I haven’t found one that works for me yet. Looking forward to reading everyone’s responses for ideas.

Favorite tool for concealer? My fingers. I’ve tried brushes and sponges, but nothing works as well as gentle tapping using my ring fingers. It takes longer, but looks more natural on me.

Your skin tone/coloring: Light-medium with yellow undertone (NC20-25)

Favorite dewy foundation? The most `dewy` foundation I love is MAC Studio Waterweight. I’m not a fan of dewy foundations, I like satin or matte finishes and if I want some dewiness I’ll apply the foundation over a primer like Laura Mercier Radiance.

Favorite tinted moisturizer/BB cream? Benefit Big Easy BB Cream; I love the product even if the shade selection isn’t the best. But I rarely use tinted moisturizer/BB creams these days… I’ll just have one medium to full coverage foundation that I’ll apply in a lighter layer or mix it with my sunscreen or a primer for sheer coverage. I actually looked online to see if Benefit still has Big Easy.

Favorite tool for concealer? I love my concealers thick and with full coverage, so for me no tool is better than fingers. I feel that `warming up` the concealer makes it look better (not creasing or looking cakey).

Hi, Zoe! I’m sorry for the late reply. I got hit by days of migraines.

The Opal O1 is light enough for me, and it’s their lightest shade. I’m an N13 (very fair with neutral undertones).

My friend Phyrra Nyx is about the same skintone as you, and she said it matched her face but not her neck. This is her blog post on it https://phyrra.net/bareminerals-complexion-rescue-tinted-hydrating-gel-cream-first-impressions-2.html

Skin tone: Very pale with cool undertones.

Favorite dewy foundation: Chosungah 22 Luminous Light Blend Foundation in 01 Porcelain. I have super dry skin so this is about as dewy as I can get my skin to look.

Favorite tinted BB or CC cream: Dr. Jart Premium BB Cream in Light. It is a little drier formula and that is not my preferred look but with slathering moisturizer and facial oils under and spray moisturizer over I can pull it off.

Favorite tool for concealer: I use a combination of beauty blender and fingers.

Your skin tone/coloring: Light medium, yellow tones.

Favorite dewy foundation? Designer Brands Luminous Hydrating foundation.

Favorite tinted moisturizer/BB cream? Lioele Triple Solution BB cream.

Favorite tool for concealer? Just a synthetic eyeshadow brush I got for free somewhere along the line. I don’t think it’s even branded but it’s a great size, shape and I like the density of bristles. I’ve been using it for a couple of years and haven’t found anything better!

Medium warm: MAC NC30

Favorite dewy foundation and BB cream are the same: Guerlain Lingerie de Peau BB. It has more coverage than some foundations and is the only “glowy” product that somehow still works my oily t-zone.

I struggle with concealer a great deal but I have found some success using the little brush included with Sisley Phytocernes concealer and my finger.

Favorite dewy foundation? Chanel Vitalumier
Favorite tinted moisturizer/BB cream? Too faced BB cream, sadly it’s been discontinued, next best is Stila stay all day illuminating
Favorite tool for concealer? Beauty blender blusher

Your skin tone/coloring: fair neutral/cool
Favorite dewy foundation? I don’t really wear dewy foundation
Favorite tinted moisturizer/BB cream? Dr Jart Dis-a-pore BB cream is what I usually wear to work 12 hour shifts since it tends to wear off more gracefully than foundation on me
Favorite tool for concealer? I’m lazy and I like to use a doefoot applicator that comes with concealer then blend out with my beauty sponge.

Your skin tone/coloring: NC15 w/some redness

Favorite dewy foundation? I don’t really do dewy. “Natural” or “satin” sure, but not dewy. The closest I’ll get is mixing something with my foundation.

Favorite tinted moisturizer/BB cream? NARS Tinted Moisturizer

Favorite tool for concealer? Either BeautyBlender or Zoeva 142 Concealer Buffer Brush depending on the concealer and how much coverage I’m going for

Favorite dewy foundation? I’m not sure – maybe Clarins Skin Illusion or Guerlain Lingerie de Peau – either one mixed with a bit of MAC Strobe Cream or Algenist drops or similar
Favorite tinted moisturizer/BB cream? IT Cosmetics BB Cream
Favorite tool for concealer? Sephora used to make a cream foundation brush – #28 – that is fabulous for cream foundation but even more fabulous for concealer! I’m glad I have 2 of them and wish they’d bring this brush back. I should take mine in and compare to see if they’ve got a similar one in its place. I have their dedicated concealer brush but it’s much larger – not great for under my eyes. I’m eager to try the new MAC one developed to use with their Waterweight Concealer. It’s got an odd triangular shape that looks like it could be really good.

Your skin tone/coloring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Favorite dewy foundation? I don’t use dewy foundations anymore, I end up looking like a grease pot. I do love Clarins Everlasting Foundation, Rimmel Match Perfection and I liked the Elf flawless foundation formula too.

Favorite tinted moisturizer/BB cream? Nude by Nature BB creme in porcelain

Favorite tool for concealer? I don’t use concealer, but if I did I would prefer a stick one and use my fingers.

Favorite dewy foundation: Cle De Peau Radiant Fluid Foundation

Favorite BB/CC cream : it’s a toss up between It CC +spf 50 cream and Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer

Your skin tone/coloring: Medium w/ olive undertones MAC NC37, Lancôme Teint Idole 24H Foundation N360, Fenty ProFilt’r Foundation 260 or 290, deep brunette, blue-green eyes w/ gold flecks.

Favorite dewy foundation? MAC Studio Sculpt for one that doesn’t require my adding either Strobe Cream or my Marc Jacobs Dew You Coconut Highlighter.

Favorite tinted moisturizer/BB cream? Lumene Bright Now Vitamin C BB cream that I now buy through Amazon because Ulta no longer carries it.

Favorite tool for concealer? My ring finger!

Celesta Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair with neutral undertones and freckles.

Favorite dewy foundation? I’ve been leaning more towards BB or CC creams lately, but I think I like the Burts Bees Foundation at the moment. As long as I use the right primer. It doesn’t seem to mix well with silicone-y primers.

Favorite tinted moisturizer/BB cream? The Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream mixed with either Urban Decay One and Done, or Juice Beauty CC Cream.

Favorite tool for concealer? For my face, I like to blend with my fingers. For under my eyes, I first use a brush, blot with a tissue, then blend with a wet sponge (technique recommended by Wayne Goss).

Favorite dewy foundation? This is not too dewy but face and body from mac is my favorite

Favorite tinted moisturizer/BB cream? Never use one and it’s super difficult to find in my skintone

Favorite tool for concealer? Beauty blender, oval brush. I want to test out a duo fiber brush for liquid formula.

Kat Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair neutral, leaning slightly pink.
Favorite dewy foundation? I don’t wear them, my t-zone is too oily.
Favorite tinted moisturizer/BB cream? Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream, but this has quite a bit of coverage. My favorite sheer coverage one is the Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer.
Favorite tool for concealer? Sponge.

Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair skin, green eyes, brown hair

Favorite dewy foundation? Don’t have one, I’m way too oily for that LOL.

Favorite tinted moisturizer/BB cream? Not marketed as one, but the giorgio armani face fabric is super lightweight and applies so easily, and it’s the closest thing I have to a BB cream in my collection. I have a hard time with BB creams because they usually have a limited shade range and I’ve never found one that runs fair enough for me.

Favorite tool for concealer? I honestly love my mini sephora collection brush that was the 2017 vib rouge gift. It doesn’t necessarily look like a concealer brush in the classic sense, but it blends my concealer out really well while not taking away much of the coverage.

Your skin tone/coloring: Tan with peachy undertones (NC42-45)
Favorite dewy foundation? Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk. Not very dewy but I have combination skin so this is my limit before looking greasy.
Favorite tinted moisturizer/BB cream? Giorgio Armani Luminessence CC Cream.
Favorite tool for concealer? Fingers or beauty sponge.

Silvia Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Cool toned/fair with a bit of redness
Favorite dewy foundation? Loreal Lumi I’m loving it! I have dry/normal combo skin. My daughter is wearing Giorgio Armani which looks flawless and as we were getting ready at home this weekend for a wedding she asked me whether I had applied mine she could not tell I had applied it and I been liking it a lot. It lasted the entire night just perfect. I don’t like a sweaty face just a nice decent healthy plumped skin glow. .
Favorite tinted moisturizer/BB cream? I wore Loreal BB cream and didn’t find it bad just cannot find my perfect match ever. This was a bit too dark but it showed ok. on face after all. I’m liking lately Aveeno CC cream looks a bit orangy (I hear the same with Garner BB cream on the orange scale) but turns out great. I been mixing with No. 7 foundation which applies nicely but turns out a bit ashy on me although I have heard same from a few other users. I actually just ordered a few back ups from Walgreens they are being discontinued and they are buy 1/second 50% off.
Favorite tool for concealer? I rarely wear concealer afraid of just drawing more attention but the rare times I do I use my pinky finger after letting melt a bit. I have purchased a few and forget to wear them! Lol! But on those California Santa Ana wind days or after a migraine or lack of sleep I try to be good and try remember using them.
