Skincare product I changed: I was having a breakout I couldn’t get under control so I took oils and hydrating mists out of my routine, and switched my moisturizer to a Paula’s Choice Anti Aging Clear Skin Hydrator

I changed foundations in February, when I went to check out the new Armani foundation and ended up over at the La Mer counter, where I was matched in the Luminous Cushion Foundation. I purchased it on a whim, as I wasn’t sure if I’d like it, but I’ve enjoyed it quite a bit for the past two months

Hair style: I did this in February too, during the same trip to Chicago where I got the La Mer foundation. I thought I was going to get the EXACT SAME TRIM I always get (and what I asked for!) but apparently “I love my hair exactly the way it is and I only want it trimmed” meant something different to my stylist than it meant to me. I about freaked out when she showed me my hair at the end and was in a state of mental instability for about a week afterward. She left the length at the bottom but really chopped up the sides and back to add volume and shape. I know, in a photo maybe others would think it isn’t such a change but it really unsettled me. It does look nice, I have to admit. But I really loved those two inches she took away.

Your skin tone/coloring: above, with freckles, green/blue/gray eyes and warm brown hair.

Last skincare product you changed? I changed my nighttime moisturizer to the derma e peptide and collagen moisturizer and I love it.

Last time you changed foundations? I change foundations day to day, it just depends on my mood. I switch between No.7 Serum foundation, Physicians Formula Healthy Foundation, Flower Beauty Light Illusion, and ND Face Glow, and a slew of different BB and CC creams.

Last time you changed your hair style? I did just get a haircut, and it’s not a drastic change, but enough of a change that I have to relearn how to style it. If we’re talking a drastic change, back in 2015 I went from hair midway down my back and natural color to above my shoulders and oil slick highlights and I LOVED it. I would absolutely do that again. Right now it’s back to my natural color and a bit longer than shoulder length.

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair with green eyes, dark hair, and pink undertones.
Last skincare product you changed? I have used Mary Kay Timewise cleanser for years because it was perfect for my uber-sensitive skin and just bought a batch and it’s now scented. Ugh.
Last time you changed foundations? I changed foundations a year ago when I tried Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk. I love how lightweight it is and is so nice for hot, humid Houston.
Last time you changed your hair style? It’s been a long time! Probably after I had my son (he’s two)…they don’t tell you that around month three post-baby, your hair starts to fall out in chunks (for some, not all) and falls out for about three or four months. My normally thick hair didn’t fall out at all when I was pregnant and thinned out so much. It was all wispy and weird for a while, and my hairdresser cut some additional layers to make it look better.

Your skin tone/coloring: Light-medium with warm yellow undertone, dark brown hair and eyes

Last skincare product you changed? My retinol cream. I used up a sample of the Paula Choice Clinical 1% retinol (my all time favorite) and decided to try the Olay Pro-X Deep Wrinkle Treatment

Last time you changed foundations? February (1st), when I finished the Becca Ultimate Coverage foundation and started the NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop (which is annoyingly clinging on dry patches I don’t even have 😆 )

Last time you changed your hair style? I can’t even remember… in think it was like 4-5 years ago when a bad hair-dresses did a bad (too deep) layering on me it took me ages to out-grow. In the last years I mostly get my ends trimmed and maybe a little layering in the front.

Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral, green eyes, salt & pepper hair

Last skincare product you changed? I rarely change my skincare routine, but I switched from Clinique Dramatically Different Gel to Clinique Moisture Surge about a year ago.

Last time you changed foundations? At least four years ago, I think. I used Revlon Colorstay for decades, then switched to Estée Lauder Double Wear and never looked back. I’ve tried samples of a few others here and there, but always go back to EL.

Last time you changed your hair style? About a year ago. I tweak my hair style a little every three or four times I get it cut. I get bored with the same thing year after year.

Alexis Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Light, warm, slight yellow undertones

Last skincare product you changed? My cleanser and moisturizer. I am using the IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cleanser and I really like it.

Last time you changed foundations? I recently purchased the Hourglass Vanish stick foundation and also like it. It’s a great match for me (warm ivory), but I have to make sure I don’t use too much or it will stick to dry patches on my face. My love is still the Lancome Teinte Idole, but I can’t seem to get the right color match for the non-summer months.

Last time you changed your hair style? A year and a half ago I shaved the sides of my head and left the top longer with my teal highlights. I love it and will never go back to long hair!

Last skincare product you changed? Adding a true toner to my daytime routine when I recently purchased Mario Badescu Witch Hazel & Rosewater Toner. Anything to try and reduce the size and appearance of the pores on my nose and inner part my cheeks!

Last time you changed foundations? Hmm, well I haven’t purchased a new one yet, but after managing to find the perfect match via mixing equal portions of MAC Studio Fix in N6.5 with C4.5, I’ve been using up samples of these and really loving how it looks. Problem is, I have an almost full bottle of Lancome Teint Idole 24H Foundation in N360. I’ll have to try to use it up this late spring into autumn, as this is when it looks like a good match for me.

Last time you changed your hair style? Two years ago when I got sick and tired of the heaviness of my then waist length skimming hair and very stupidly went into a Great Clips on an impulse to get roughly a foot of my hair chopped off! The person who cut it put far too many layers in it, which made it impossible to style, so I had to go with wearing it in its natural curly state with a bunch of new products. Too much trouble!

???? ???? ????/????????: Under my name

???? ???????? ??????? ??? ???????? Face moisturizer. My cheeks have been running really dry, so I changed (at least temporarily) to L’oreal Revitalift Triple Power Deep-Acting Moisturizer. It’s the only thing that’s working for me right now.

???? ???? ??? ??????? ???????????? The last time I completely changed was to stop using liquid foundations and using only bareMinerals Original Foundation SPF 15 back in the early 2000s. Now, I don’t really change so much as add to ones I might buy. The most recent addition to my little collection is the ColourPop No Filter Natural Matte Foundation in Fair 05. So far I like it.

???? ???? ??? ??????? ???? ???? ?????? Almost a year ago, when I shaved the side of my head. I got a haircut today: The side is still shaved, but I got it cut to shoulder-length with long layers (it was nearly to my waist in the back).

Your skin tone/coloring: NW20 brown hair, blue eyes
Last skincare product you changed? Added The Ordinary retinol 0.2% about a month ago. Before that, changed my night cream because they discontinued (in the UK) the one I was using.
Last time you changed foundations? Late 2016, switched to a different formula of Boots No 7 with fuller coverage. Also got their custom foundation drops late last year for lighter coverage days.
Last time you changed your hair style? Drastically, I started growing out my pixie cut in February last year, getting to a bob by September. Minor changes to the bob since then as it’s settled and my hairdresser left (sob).

Last skin care changed: I completely changed everything when I got home from Europe and am still using that routine. However, I am going to go back to Sunday Riley Good Genes replacing the Farmacy Honeymoon Glow. Just prefer the way Good Genes works. I will probably continue with everything else until Sephora sale and then may make some changes.

Foundation change: Last month when I switched my everyday foundation to the L’Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear.

Last hair change: I got about 8 or 9 inches cut off about this time last year and am ready to do something different but just haven’t decided what yet!

Your skin tone/coloring: light, MAC NC 15-20, med brown hair and eyes

Last skincare product you changed? I haven’t changed anything but I’ve added a retinol into the mix. Really helps w some texture I’ve been experiencing

Last time you changed foundations? I’m not loyal to any foundation really. I try a new one every time I use one up and I am in need of foundation!

Last time you changed your hair style? I’m particular about my hair. It’s thick, wavy and has cowlicks. I cannot get any style. I need it thinned out from time to time. I need long layers and it has to hit my shoulders so my hair lays right. I’d love to have fun styles but it’s not in the cards for me. Esp since I’m all thumbs when it comes to styling tools

Last skincare product you changed? I recently added Murad Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum to my routine but I haven’t actually changed any products lately. I will switch to a stronger cleanser when the weather gets warmer but it will problem be the same as what I used last summer.

Last time you changed foundations? Maybe a year ago I started using Mirenesse cushion foundation and last fall I bought KGD Aqua Foundation. I expect to stick with those for awhile.

Last time you changed your hair style? Last August I added magenta highlights and darkened my base shade to a chocolate brown but the cut is the same.

I’m fair/medium or light depending on the brand.
Last Skincare product I changed: I just switched my night cream and day cream to a Burts Bees firming/hydrating line. So far I love it and it seems to really be doing the trick. My skin is definitely plumper and smoother.
Last time I changed foundations: Actually I just received my order from Colourpop today and I will be trying out their No Filter Foundation. I am pretty proud of myself, I picked one out online without having a match to the one I am currently using (a Rimmel London one) and I think it’s pretty close to my own shade! I could probably try the next darker shade down if I decide I like it enough to purchase again, but I think since I have a foundation at home that is a little pink toned in my opinion and this one is more neutral I will mix them and have a pretty nice looking match so it works out!
As far as changing hairstyles I have been letting mine grow out again after cutting it when my daughter, (who is soon to be three) was around a year old. It’s long enough now that I am going this weekend to get my highlights retouched and some layering done and I can’t wait!

I’m fair don’t know my coloring…
I haven’t changed foundation unless buying a different formula counts…that was last month I think. I usually do the It cosmetics cc cream original then bought the illuminating by accident basically wanting to repurchase it , because it doesn’t cause breakouts and the coverage is nice.
I did switch over to paula’s choice in march i think. I tried out their clear regular strength line. I break out and just get so frustrated with my acne issues. I have tried a lot of stuff and keep hoping that I would be done with acne.
Haven’t changed my hairstyle in at least six months? I get lazy with my hair it’s not that important I guess since I mostly wear it up…

Last skincare product you changed? Just started using Caudalie Vinoperfect Glycolic Brightening Essence. I love anything Caudalie!

Last time you changed foundations? MUFE I’ve been using for a year the bottle seems bottomless lol!

Last time you changed your hair style? When I retired 2 1/2 years ago I decided to grow my bangs out. When they finally just got to the point where I could do them nicely my husband said “I don’t like you without bangs!” Honestly I didn’t like it much neither. I went in the bathroom and chopped them back off. I feel much better lol!

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Last skincare product you changed? I swapped around my facial oils from Argon Oil to Chia Seed oil. I like them both, but tend to rotate my facial oils.

Last time you changed foundations? I was using Designer Brands foundation, but I found that the pumps didn’t work properly and that the undertones were more neutral than pink. So I swapped to L’Oreal’s new extended range of their True Match foundation and for the first time, they offered a Rose Porcelain shade (usually their undertones were yellow based and did not work on me). I have been very happy ever since.

Last time you changed your hair style? Quite a while ago now I did a different hair look, with shorter at the back and longer at the sides, but I found that when my hair is quite short, it turns curly and the curls did not go with the hairstyle at all. Seeing as I have zero skills at hairdressing, it just didn’t work, so I went back to my bob style.

Lt to med/‘cool’ side, very little yellow, mostly red. Skincare: already overexpounded this week. Foundation: added the powder and cushion formula to my KGD color, for variety. Allergy to chem sunscreens cuts your options by 85-90%. Hairstyle: there’s my dad’s old wallet pic with my hair the same in 1953. (Shortish bob that I shave the back in summer.). Once I had to go to a new stylist, and came out looking like a Dallas (80s) soap star, OMBFG. I walked the dog when I got home and ran into a man with a Sibe that my Mal liked. I had only seen them in the dark. ‘Oh, THAT’S what you look like!’ Me: ‘Oh, no, I don’t look like this.’ He avoided me from that point on.

???? ???? ????/????????: Deep tan w/golden undertones (Mac C7)

???? ???????? ??????? ??? ???????? I bought a face oil from the Ordinary and I’m not really loving it :-(.I think I’ll back to my Body Shop Vitamin E oil soon.

???? ???? ??? ??????? ???????????? I’m a lover of lightweight foundations, so I have put together a nice little collection, but the last one that I bought is the Make Up For Ever Water Blend, which I’ve been loving.

???? ???? ??? ??????? ???? ???? ?????? About two weeks ago. I switch up my hairstyles all of the time – whether its wigs, braids or rocking my own natural hair.

Last skincare product you changed? Added Regenerator from Surreal Skincare into my routine to try to get rid of the scars on my face. Definitely has calmed it down a bit. Also trying the Kale face wash from Youth to the People.

Last time you changed foundations? I’ve been using Armani Luminous Silk since January-ish? Didn’t think I liked it that much until I tried to use my L’oreal Pro Glow.

Last time you changed your hair style? Literally never. Maybe a few years ago?

Your skin tone/coloring: fair/cool skin, gray eyes, brown hair with red highlights and scattered blonde/blue strands (all natural)
Last skincare product you changed? A few years ago I was using face wash, toner, and moisturizer from Mary Kay (I had a friend who was a saleswoman). By the time I ran out, the exact formulations of those products weren’t being made anymore, so I switched to Neutrogena versions.
Last time you changed foundations? I switched from Urban Decay All Nighter 2.5/L’Oreal True Match Lumi Cushion C3 Creamy Natural to Fenty Pro Filt’r 110 in late December/early January, and I love the switch so much I haven’t been able to shut up about it!
Last time you changed your hair style? I usually alternate between some form of a chin- or mid-neck-length bob with or without layers and some form of upper-chest-length hair with or without layers (usually with, because my hair’s thick), and I always keep in wispy bangs. Last fall I went long again, in the same layered style Elisabeth Rohm had in her Law & Order days.

That’s EXACTLY what my stylist did to my hair yesterday!! I’m loving it. Now, i hope i can style it the way he did (loose beach waves)….

Last skincare product you changed? My luggage was lost (again) on my recent sojourn to Delhi. Picked up Body Shop’s Drops of youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask to replace my usual Murad Renewal routine and have been pleasantly impressed!
Last time you changed foundations? Trying Rimmel’s Lasting Finish 25 hr with comfort serum (whatever that is?) as my IT CC cream & Cle de Peau Silky cream were in my luggage too. I believe this foundation has been discontinued in western countries- too bad because I am impressed! This cheapie Rimmel reminds me of Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Light before they reformulated it.
Last time you changed your hairstyle? Currently growing out an undercut pixie in silvery ash platinum to my usual golden beige chin length angled bob. Unfortunately, it is looking a bit more like Theresa May’s frumpy ‘do now than I would care to admit.

Last skincare product you changed? I chop and change all the time but the big change for me has been the Youth to the People facial oil – I use it every day, generally 2X a day, and it may well have replaced all my other skin oils for the foreseeable future.
Last time you changed foundations? A few months ago, I was able to get (at last) the Diorskin Forever foundation with SPF (though the bottles had all been recalled and a little sticker put on top of the SPF claims); at the same time, I also purchased Dior’s Airflash foundation – those have been my 2 big changes
Last time you changed your hair style? 10 years or more ago…. I’ve found a style I love (just as recently as last week, a woman at the gym stopped me to comment on how much she loved my haircut) so I think I’ve found a “winner” cut and cutter!

helen Avatar

Skin tone: NC-20-ish (a mix of yellow, red and olive…)
Last Skincare product change: Actually, i added using the Gah Sha(?) tool to my routine and it really revitalizes the blood flow which results in more glowy, healthy looking skin.
Last Foundation Change: I’ve been using various samples to find a new foundation and i’m loving the new Kosas Tinted Oil (now at Sephora, yay!) as well as NU Evolution (full coverage) which is also great.
Last Hair Change: Yesterday!!! Just cut 6 inches of hair and i’m loving it!!!

Jill Avatar

Your skin tone/coloring: Pale/fair, cool toned

Last skincare product you changed? I guess it was my nighttime Cerave retinol, the Murad was 50% off so I got one, but I’ll probably switch back to the Cerave once that runs out because I haven’t noticed any difference.

Last time you changed foundations? Never, I only recently found a foundation I can wear regularly–even though if I’m being honest I still don’t wear it every day. More like I wear it on weekends if we go out. I found it early last summer.

Last time you changed your hair style? A few months ago, I started wearing my natural curls again.
