Eclipse

Stellar Eclipse Beauty Cosmic Blush ($25.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a muted, coppery brown with warm undertones and fine shimmer. The shimmer translated into a more luminous sheen rather than obvious shimmer particles once blended on the skin. It seemed as if the powder “melted” on the skin as it did not appear as dusty on my cheeks as it did swatched initially.

The formula is supposed to have a “translucent wash of pigment” that has a “subtle glow” and “long-wear” that “builds easily to a strong, lustrous finish.” There are only three shades in the range presently, and the pigmentation was more medium in coverage, buildable with a very soft texture–but so soft that there was a ton of excess powder kicked up in the pan even with a light touch and a soft brush. They have a luminous finish on the skin, but they only last six to seven hours on me, which is shorter than average. Eclipse was consistent with the other two–medium coverage, buildable, and dusty and drier in the pan, but it applied and blended out nicely. It wore well for seven hours on me before fading.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Nice to see these Stellars. I got the Essence dupe, thinking it looked cooler than the other Ulta shade….it may be, but it’s clearly not cool. That one is exactly as you depict it, not like Ulta OR the pan, for that matter. After my initial disappointment, I really like it. Zero kickup with the WG floppy #14. It’s a decent cheap dupe, for those wishing this shade.

Wow what a pretty color and finish, like how it’s a dupe for HE or LE products. This will probably be ok over primer and foundation.

Lovely color, but 7 hours weartime has me feeling very hesitant. I think I could get a close shade by layering MAC Cheek Pollen with some Highlight The Truth MSF? I will have to give that a go just to see.

This is such a pretty shade of blush. Christine I must say out of all the makeup blogs I read and watch sometimes on youtube you apply your makeup the best it is perfection especially your eye makeup looks they are always beautiful and they are not overdone just perfection.
