SpaRitual Quartz Nail Lacquer Review, Photos, Swatches
SpaRitual Quartz Nail Lacquer
Would You Like a Little Rock with Your Polish?
SpaRitual Quartz Nail Lacquer ($10.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as an “earthy red creme infused with rhyolite.” It’s a rusty orange-red with flecks of blackened brown. It looks so… earthy on; there’s no other way to describe it. The finish was really unique, and it should, since rhyolite is “igneous, volcanic rock, of felsic composition” (according to Google). I couldn’t think of anything in my stash that was similar. Even when I tried to find something similar to the base color, I could only come up with MAC Styleseeker, which is much more orange.
It was very nearly opaque after two coats with a shadowy outline of the nail line on my index finger, but the other two nails seemed just fine. The consistency wasn’t too thick or too thin, so it flowed beautifully across the nail without pooling, bubbling, or streaking. SpaRitual has a nice ergonomic, rubberized handle, which makes applying and opening the bottle a cinch. I typically get a full week of wear with SpaRitual’s formula with very minor tip wear.

This is my favorite nail polish brand. Its vegan and the colors are true, vibrant and long lasting. I’m wearing this brand right now on my toes!
Oooohhh love it!!!The effect is so pretty!
I’m of the love it, but leave it.. I wish it was far more opaque and the texture more noticeable. Interesting colour though!!
I actually really like this colour. Reminds me of Fall, and brown crispy leaves :))
I’ve gotta say this color is for sure NOT me! UGH I think it’s terrible 🙁 looks like pumpkin pie, also not a fan that it looks sorta grainy.
I like it, it’s a very interesting shade!
wow, it’s so rare to see something so unique in nail polish. I love being surprised by something I’ve never seen. This is cool!
The color and finish together are amazing. I just took a geology class last semester and this polish really does look like a rock!
The minerals in the formula reminded me how fun it is to mix pigments with clear nail polish 😀 New nail plan for tomorrow!
The shade is lovely. I think it would look even more “earthy” and have more impact with a matte top coat, it would look like the sand mix used here to make bricks. Which sounds bad, but I’m not being sarcastic; would love to see it.
I have Matte About You by Essie– you’ve inspired me to use it! I love the concept.
Interesting and unique shade! Pretty cool for fall I think.
Oh my, I LOVE this. So complex and unique, and I used to be obsessed with rocks and minerals, so this is perfect! Thanks for featuring it and bringing it to our attention. <3
Very cool, unique shade. I love seeing companies come out with new concepts, plus it’s always fun seeing A+ products 🙂
This shade reminds me of the tawny shades synonymous with the late-70s, early-80s. I wore similar shades when I first got into makeup, as it was the trend, and I still had auburn hair, so I thought the shades were perfect for me. I don’t think I’d wear this now, but a part of me wants it for nostalgic reasons.
that is so cool, and one of the more unique polishes I’ve seen!!!
This reminds me of NerdLacquer Masonic without the glitter.
I love the look of SpaRitual but I find the bottles to be less sturdy than any other nail polish brand I tried. I’ve had problems with the bottles breaking due to normal use. So, yes, the formal is great but the bottle is made of eggshells.
I’ve moved twice with the bottles just in a drawer by themselves and haven’t had any problems!
cool, very autumn-y
Wow, that is gorgeous!
That’s gorgeous and so unique! It feels very Autumnal.
This is gorgeous! I love how the combination of the rhyolite and shine make your nails look like smooth, polished rocks. I think I’m going to have to pick this up. 🙂
Love it!! I went to Sephora this afternoon looking for this polish and was disappointed to find it was not there. I might have to order it online in the upcoming F&F sale.
I absolutely love the finish but I can’t see myself ever wearing the colour. I hope SpaRitual comes up with other shades in the same finish because it is DIVINE!!!
Oh I just love this! It’s so unique, I haven’t seen anything quite like it yet. I’ll definitely be adding this one to my collection.
