For spring, there are four new shades of Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow ($20.00 for 0.05 oz.) being added to the line-up. Urban Decay sent along several of the existing shades, and I almost thought they were reformulated, so I ended up swatching them (but they seemed the same as before) as well. Full reviews to come 🙂

Photos don’t do it justice. I own Solstice and when you put it on, depending on how the light hits your eyes it shifts from teal to green to a sort of pinky orange to brown. I’m not usually into super glittery shadows, but this is stunning.

Same here those were the two I’m most attracted to. Don’t know about purchasing though, as I age I’m finding anything with any kind of glitter or even just shimmery looks pretty bad.

I’ve never used the Moondust shadows (the word “dust” coupled with UD’s known propensity for glitter fall-out have always put me off) but I’m wondering if generally, these are worse for fallout or the same or better than shadows like Midnight Cowboy Rides Again or Maui Wowie…. I love the look of Zodiac, Ether, Diamond Dog and a few others…

Space Cowboy is one of my favorite eye shadows of all time and I might get Solstice (looks gorgeous). But is it my imagination or do the new shades look grittier than the older ones? I’m interested to hear your thoughts but looks like Solstice is for me!

These are all so gorgeous. For some reason I was under the impression that the Moondust line had been discontinued. I’m a huge Bowie fan, so Diamond Dog needs to come live with me.

I wonder if the formula has changed at all with these. I remember purchasing one quite a few years ago and ended up returning it because it was so chunky and the fallout was horrendous. Maybe now that I have pixie epoxy I would have less trouble with it, but I’d only consider purchasing these if the texture was better as well.

OMG those are soooo pretty! I am such a magpie for the glittery and shiny stuff!!
Are these additional new shades they are adding to the line? I’m not familiar enough with the ones they already have but am thinking I will need to have at least a couple of these. I really like Cosmic as a highlighter and those taupes are beautiful, too.

Love these shadows. So much fun but I don’t do an entire eye with them. Accents only for me. Younger women could go for it.

The new Solstice Moon Dust look so much like the discontinued Lounge eyeshadow in the pan? I can’t wait to try the Ether Moon Dust as their Ether eyeliner is my favorite!
