This palette is beautiful. I am getting heavy nostalgia of having my way with a jar of Goobers. Ugh. They must’ve put crack in them because I use to stay eating it by itself. Forget bread, give me a spoon and a tv show.

Elyse Avatar

I’m really not interested in purchasing this at all….. but the packaging is seriously SO cute! I’m definitely a sucker for things like this, but alas, I feel like I wouldn’t get much use out of it personally.

Still, looking forward to the review!

Let me just pretend that I don’t have a serious sulfa allergy for a moment:

So, first of all, I absolutely LOVE these colors! A lot. So much so, that in all likelihood I have dupes coming out of my ears! 2 pans of MAC Saddle, for starters, Amber Lights, Arena, plus others across brands, like UD.
I think this will sell like hotcakes to all warm, toasty neutrals lovers!!!

Joanna Avatar

After reading your mention of sulfa, I did a search and found your previous comments on TF. Sodium saccharine = SULFA! How did I not learn this until now! I know a lot about allergies because of my allergy to corn, but this was a huge surprise. You have helped me solve my toothpaste mystery. Now I have to recheck my cosmetics! Nancy, thank you. Christine, I get so much enjoyment out of this site, but now better health, too.

Aline Avatar

This was on my definitely buy list but now I’m not too sure. A lot of the colors look like what I already have in palettes by them. I know Peanut Butter is the same, but are there any other dupes?

NeoNails Avatar

It looks like this could be a nice palette! Unfortunately, it is FAR too warm for me, so I’ll be giving it a pass.

I do really love those purple shades. I’ll have to check out the review & see what dupes you recommend! ?

NeoNails Avatar

I’m super cool toned too! Even the OG Chocolate Bar can sometimes be too warm for me, if I don’t balance out the transition shades right.

Some people talk about wearing cool tones & looking like they got punched in the face, but if I wear too much warm I just look like crazed and weirdly sick.

(Also: I have the same issue with purples! I love them, but I have to walk a very careful line between warm & cool.)

Julia Avatar

Looks like I am in the minority, but I do not love Peanut Butter (I have the original Chocolate Bar); I just find it too orange-y. It’s a cute palette and a fun theme, but it is just too umber/orange for me, with the exception of the purples. I’ll be throwing my $35 at Tarte this time, for the Rainforest of the Sea palette.

Cat Avatar

… or on the verge of being 49 years old. 😀

I actually don’t see enough pigmented, pink shadows in palettes! That said, Jelly looks more violet than pink to me.

Bonnie Avatar

I have the think pink palette! It’s kind of a dupe for Saucebox Forbidden Fruits palette at least it reminds me of it! (I have both) can never have too many pink and purple eyeshadows! ? I was going to get winterberry too, but I have fall festival and realized there’s several repeats between the palettes

Cat Avatar

Hi, Rachel! ***waves***

Thanks for the links! I’ve browsed the Coastal Scents website a few times and wondered how their eyeshadows compare to other brands. I may even have a single shadow… but I can’t verify as I don’t have access to my entire stash right now. (We’re still working on redoing the master bath and built-in vanity. Hopefully, it will be completed today!)

What are the mattes like? I really like some of the shades in the Think Pink palette and at least four of those appear to be matte. I’m still considering picking up the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette. How are you liking that?

The Silver Nail Avatar

Or in our late 50s, even. I love pink eye shadow, and like any other color, if it’s not overdone it can be really pretty. It helps the neutrals like various browns really pop.

Staci Avatar

I feel like I an the only one not excited by this. It’s a palette of browns with a purple thrown in. Anyone who’s into makeup likely has all these colors already. It’s boring, but the PBJ cuteness has everyone gushing.

Chelle Avatar

Seems like warm browns and oranges are super popular right now but I don’t find them as flattering on me as they are on others, maybe because I’m so pale and cool toned. Super cute packaging and I love the concept of adding in purples and making it a “peanut butter and jelly”. Not to mention that the pigmentation does looks very nice! 🙂

Lisa Ferguson Smith Avatar

I probably have no business buying this as the colors will without a doubt be too warm for me, but
I am COVETING this palette and it must be MINE!

Claire L Avatar

These colours are very dupeable except for Jelly and Nuts about U, so I won’t be buying. Though I do like Jelly, it’s not enough to want the whole palette, it’s way too warm for me otherwise.

Dua Avatar

Colour pay off looks good. The moment I saw the sneak peaks on Instagram I wanted it. But I feel I already own these colours from other brands. I’ll just wait on your review and decide later on.

Mariella Avatar

It SMELLS like peanut butter too? I missed that but I am seriously going “hmmmm?” For starters, the peanut allergy is pretty widespread AND serious. I don’t know if it’s as big an issue in the US but here in Canada, peanut butter has been banned in many elementary schools. But in general I’ve wondered why there hasn’t been more outcry AGAINST TF’s scented eyeshadow palettes. I have virtually no problem with fragranced products (Guerlain’s heavily scented foundations and powders are a joy to me personally) but I recognize that this IS a big issue for a lot of people. And to put a fragrance (even chocolate) into eyeshadows seems to me just really dumb. And yet so many people are going “Oooooh, I love the yummy chocolate smell….”.

Gia F Avatar

I know this is mega late but from what I’ve heard it smells exactly like the chocolate bars and not much like peanut butter at all.

Gia F Avatar

Hmmm I haven’t been able to smell it personally. I would like one but u just bought the Sweet Peach so I think I’m going to skip this palette for now but I’ll definitely go sniff it at Sephora or something. ???

Mariella Avatar

These colours just are not for me. The 2 or 3 I could possibly wear are ones for which I already have dupes. I still have a real soft stop in my heart for TF’s 9 pan palettes (and I wish they’d not discontinued the 2nd Smokey one and Romantic) but this one’s just not for me.

Astra Avatar

Really want this, but this would be a great example of buying something you already own because you always gravitate toward the same colors. Must resist!

The Silver Nail Avatar

I wanted the Peanut Butter shade in the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar palette, but since it was the only one I **did** want, I couldn’t justify the purchase. Am so getting this PB&J one!

Zoe Avatar

I was so curious about this idea since I first heard about the palette. It looks cute, is an interesting concept, unconventional color combinations, and it’s scented! But something about it isn’t hitting the mark for me. All these parts are great, but together it’s…off? I don’t know. Looking forward to the review.

fancie Avatar

These are definitely my kind of colors so I’ve been waiting patiently for tomorrow to use this $40 Google Express credit on it. I cannot wait to finally get my hands on it! A Too Faced artist showed it to me this week and it’s even more beautiful in person and it smells soo good. Too Faced is trying to take all my coins this year!

Victoria Avatar

As someone who loves warm tones, this is even a little too much for me to handle. It’s also too orange and I also feel like the shades are all too much the same. I have the Semi Sweet, but if I am to get another palette from Too Faced, it just may be the BonBon.

As cute as the packaging is, I don’t feel like it’s too practical for me. Plus, I feel as though that there is a lot of colors I won’t really use a lot anyway. :(((

MartiniMaven Avatar

I just ordered this Too Faced palette today. I have medium skin tone with warm undertones and highlighted blonde hair, so these intensely warm-neutral colors are exactly what I look for! I’m very excited to try all of these colors. Of course, like most other makeup junkies out there I didn’t NEED another eyeshadow palette, I purchased this solely based on lust…AND I hope it will be great for travel. 🙂
