Mine came in the mail yesterday, it’s so gorgeous, can’t wait for your review! Hopefully it’s a good one, eek!
I find this palette so incredibly boring. I feel like we’ve seen these shades a million times before. Considering their questionably quality lately, this is an easy skip for me.
Amen! Absolutely agree with you. I love neutrals but not of these colors speak to me. They are so lackluster and boring. Agree, it is the same old shades and they are that stunning in tone. I have all these colors and better quality ones too!
I agree. Very easy pass.
The general impression is better quality than recent issues by tf. To avoid saying one note and boring, going to say it’s tonal, f’sure. Think that it will not produce varied looks, but give the same general impression, no matter which shades you choose. You know, like do five different looks five days in a row, and everyone at work thinks you wore the same thing every day? Where is don’t subscribe? Not showing now, FYI.
Well, it looks like Undercover and Makeup & Chill swatched pretty poorly — though we already knew that about the latter from the (ungh) Nikki Tutorials palette. I hope the rest of it reviews well. These are exactly my sorts of shades and I really want to love this palette!
Wow, the swatches look better than I expected! I don’t see any total duds, and with primer, the shadows should be ok. I’m sure I have dupes of most in my collection, but this would be a handy palette to grab in the morning for work appropriate looks.
I feel like I have dupes for all these colors in my Lorac mega pro palettes.
These swatches actually look pretty nice. I think something like this would be good for people with limited collections–probably dupable for people who already have several neutral palettes. It’s pretty, though, and it’s the first thing Too Faced has put out in a while that I’ve thought about picking up.
I really wanted to love this and I just don’t… Hot & Bothered looks great, the rest are just OK or mediocre looking.
I’d rather spend the $$$ on Colourpop or Milani – even Jordana does better eyeshadows than Too Faced these days.
Love Bug and Cutie Patootie are my faves. I see a few other hits but a lot of misses too.
Thank you for doing the swatches. I like this set but I won’t purchase because I was hoping to get something different for the summer, but I love all the colours selected for this set.
Not terrible, but the colors are the same old same old from Too Faced. As pretty as the packaging is, I’ll be skipping.
I do like many of these colors but I need another eyeshadow palette like I need a hole in my head. Looking forward to your review.
I don’t like how the dark shades look but do like most of the others, wish I didn’t, I really don’t need it and it may not even fit in my palette drawer!
I like this a lot but I think I might be able to cover a lot of shades with Stila’s A Whole Lot of Love and TF Chocolate Bon bons, indeed Satin Sheets is from the latter. It’ll be interesting to see the review and the dupes.
Took me a while, but I finally wised up and won’t waste money on something that’s just pretty packaging any more. This looks like the same re-run brown and pink shadows from TF. Big yawn. But thank you very much for the swatches.
I just wised up too, I will be returning this. I wanted to love it I just don’t and its nothing new from too faced. :(((
I don’t know about this one. Im a neutral lover through and through. But these just seem, weak? They don’t look opaque for the most part, and they just don’t impress me. ?
I think this is a rehash of lots of the shades Too Faced has used before in previous palettes, along with the patchy mattes. It is designed to appeal to a wide range of complexions and skin tones, I will await the review.
I love neutral eyeshadows but this palette, aside from the packaging is lack luster. What no stand out shades? Not one eyeshadow is drawing me in!
It actually swatches much better than I anticipated. But then my expectations with Too Faced are particularly low these days…
I’m really anxious to see your review. Other than the Nude Mattes, I’m underwhelmed lately. I loved the original Natural and Natural at Night palettes.
I really appreciated your comment, “some that are supposed to be new” lol! It’s so true, everything that Too Faced puts out looks the same as previous releases. That said, this palette is not for me. Very little variety, too few mattes, doesn’t look amazing quality (and it would need to be amazing before I buy from Too Faced any time soon). But I’m sure this would be lovely for someone who is going to use this for everyday looks and doesn’t have a large stash already. And it does look better than other recent TF releases!
Half of the shades look amazing but the other half look blah. I will pick it up to try out. Thanks for the swatches. I can’t wait to read your review.
I ordered mine on Toofaced.com for 40% off. They sent out those discounts when they didn’t send the Sweet Peach Glow and Peach collection stuff to everyone on time for Christmas like they promised.I had been saving the 40% just for this palette I also got Granny Panties liquid lip and a couple other things.I have watched Utube reviews of this and they all say you need to use primer with this but with the discount this palette is totally a good buy!!They just shipped mine on Wednesday and I ordered it the day it came out the 9th.They said the east coast orders were delayed because of a blizzard but its been a really long wait.
I grabbed this palette and I love it. The glitter/shimmer is amazing, in several colours it is like a fine fairy dust. To be honest although I am a huge shimmer lover I do wish there was a few more mid tone mattes to balance it out.
