Sneak Peek: Tarte Tarteist PRO Palette Photos & Swatches

Tarte Tarteist PRO Palette
Tarte Tarteist PRO Palette

Tarte Tarteist PRO Palette ($53.00 for 0.70 oz.) includes 20 eyeshadows with 15 mattes and 5 shimmers. I compared ingredient lists, and I don’t think that the shimmery shades are the Metallic formula, but they felt similarly to me when I initially swatched. The palette was also vanilla-scented, in case you are sensitive to scents.

I was waiting for your swatches, and look forward to the review. I’ve been eyeing this for a few weeks now bit want to see your opinion before I buy. It looks lovely!

I like that this is a wearable collection of colors that isn’t the typical grouping of browns and plums. Some of the swatches look a little iffy, but they may still perform fine. I’m glad this is permanent so I can hold off until your review is posted. Looking forward to it!

Some of the mattes seem to be a little dry. I like that there are a few shimmery shades, but I wish brands would do more duochromes that aren’t the same blue-green and brown-purple shift recycled again and again.

This actually looks really good!!!
It appears to be a mix of Tarte’s usual color lineup, but some inspiration from modern renaissance and other red tones that are popular right now.
Glam and Trendy seem to be the unique colors of the bunch. slightly different from the pink/gold and green/brown duochromes that dominate the market. I definitely wish Tarte released those as singles!
And, if I didn’t already have way too much eyeshadow, this would be on my list.

Tarte’s dark matte eyeshadows always look so dry to me :/ I’d love to get my hand on one of their eyeshadow palettes because I like their color selection, but that’s a major turn-off for me…

Hmmm, IDK, looks like a mixed bag. The metallics look great, a number of the mattes look dry and patchy, will need primer or cream base for sure. I do like the easy-to-figure out color combos, and there are some reds/purples/blues, will await your review

Some of the shades swatched nicely, some seem a little dry at least to my eye. And this time, the palette seems cohesive and most shades would work well together. This said, I have dupes for all the shades that I especially like so it’s a skip for me.

Some look gorgeous (the shimmers are so pretty). Some look patchy and dry. All in all, not a very thrilling or unique color selection to begin with.

I wonder why it’s vanilla scented.

I have this palette, untouched, awaiting the review. It’s just what I need to fill in holes in the colors I like/wear. I have to say it looks beautiful in person, better than online even, IMO.

Eyeshadow is so fickle. The Mario palette is lovely, and the quality is there. I used a friend’s palette and we tried five different combos on me. They all turned to mud, totally unflattering. I’ve never had that happen before. I would never buy it for myself.

I think the swatches here look quite good. Going out on a limb here to say this is going to hold up to scrutiny. We’ll see soon enough. 🙂

Going by the swatches, I can only hope and pray that some of these play better on your lids in actual practice. Overall, it does look like a fairly solid modern neutral palelle. I do love the shade selection here. Only “Trendy” is a bit of a bummer, because it is a now highly dupable, and overly common, duochrome shade that’s being done to death.

The shimmery/metallic shades look great, I wish there were more of them. the matte shades, not so much. They look quite dry/powdery. I think this will be a pass for me.

Well, I like the look of Glam, Minx, Trendy, Indie, and maybe Profesh… I don’t think that five out of fifteen is enough. Warm neutral + pinks and purples in eyeshadows? Far from my best colors…

I want cool beiges, taupes, and greys in a forgiving satin finish; shimmering silvers and steel greys, violet-leaning blues, olive-leaning greens, with an icy lemon yellow and a bright white thrown in. Now *that* would be my perfect eyeshadow palette. Will I see it in my lifetime? Only if I assemble it myself, I think!

Nothing quite like having super-cool undertones combined with eyes that are a dark hazel mix of golden brown and olive green with a dark grey rim, lol. Of course I do like being unique (as we all are, really!)

The shades I like best swatch the worst, but it is terrific to see a non Tarte palette from Tarte. I liked Tarte when they started, but then they became so predictable and I know most of them would give me Linda’s problem: muddy on blending. Virtually every palette in which browns predominate do that on me…all except Monarch, which I never would have considered without Christine. Thanks for that one.

Brands should just send you stuff so you can review it before it comes out so then we know if we want to buy it or not lol. They would make a lot more money right off the bat if everyone waiting for your review had the info as the palette came out!! haha

Looks nice but I’m glad I got the Ciate x Chloe Morello palette as that has some similar shades, as well as the Morphe Fall into Frost one. Trendy is giving me all the heart eyes but I’m not buying a palette just for that shade lol. It looks very similar to Make up Geek’s Insomnia/Urban Decay’s Lounge. Maybe I should buy one of these pigments if I’m loving this shade so much!

I’ve never liked the Tarte formula but since this is a Pro palette maybe its better than usual. The color selection is great though. I bought one of Tartes holiday sets many years ago and have not bought from them since.

Oh my god I want it so bad. A nice mix if neutral/cool, warms, and light shades. Please don’t mess up on the formula/application tarte, this could be my xmas present.
