Sneak Peek: NARS Matte Multiples Photos & Swatches
NARS Matte Multiples
The new NARS Matte Multiples ($39.00 for 0.26 oz.) are now available online at Sephora and NARS. I just received these yesterday afternoon, so I’ve only had time to photograph and swatch but not yet do full-length wear test. I’ll be working through them this weekend, and I hope to have full reviews for you soon with more swatches, dupes, etc. I would greatly appreciate it if you could hold any questions until I’ve had a chance to test and review–stay tuned! 🙂

Don’t worry, not asking a question but i just want to say that appreciate that you try so hard to get new releases out to us so fast- i honestly don’t know how you manage to do it (as US releases tend to be a bit before UK ones, i am eternally grateful that i always have your review before i ever buy anything these days).:)
Thank you <3 <3 I love reading all of the comments, and it makes me more excited and motivated to review products when I see everyone else's excitement, too!
Exumas looks really great. I´m looking forward to reading your review 🙂
Any of this on the brown side of colour could potentially be my contour/ bronzer for my C5/NC40 shade?
I’m liking the look of Anguilla. Can’t wait for the review, thanks Christine!
Anguilla is beautiful! I wore it tonight!! Looking forward to the review too!!
OMG OMG gorgeous swatches I love all this shades <3
I didn’t think I was interested in these… until I saw swatches and photos of them. Now there are at least four that I want to get my hands on! Eagerly awaiting your reviews!
I am very excited by these! Can’t wait for your review.
Please post a picture of the box so we can check out the ingredients.
Hi,
I did not receive any boxes, just the products, otherwise I would have 🙂
Can’t wait to see your reviews and thoughts! I’m such a matte girl I always pay attention when stuff like this comes out…
Anguilla looks yum!
Wow! Those are very pigmented!
Your photos of Altai look much darker then others I have seen! More orange too!
It’s pretty spot-on from what I remember seeing in-store… I was really surprised, given the description as “rose bronze”!
Yeah, I was hoping it would be lighter and pinker. It looks somewhat orange and warm in the swatch.
Oooooooh, I am so excited for these. Can’t wait to hear your comments.
I cannot decode btw Cappadoce and Vientane as a contour shade! I am waiting on ur reviews!!!!
These look awesome! Defiantly want to check them out when they hit the UK! 🙂
I like Exumas and Siam. 🙂
I’m so excited for these!
Just curious. Are these supposed to be used for more than one use? Let’s say cheek stain, lip application? If so these are really gorgeous colors and very doable for most skin tones.
They market them as being for eyes, cheeks, lips, and body if I’m not mistaken. Like you could use them as an eye shadow, blush, lipstick/gloss or maybe for contouring other parts of your body. I think the name “Multiple” is a play on words with Orgasm, because there is a multiple in Orgasm (don’t quote me on this, but it may have been one of the first), but it’s a double meaning because you can use the product multiple ways.
Hi Christine,
Would you say any of the browns can be used to do contouring? (NW20)
P.s. love your site, I check it daily 🙂
I was hoping Altai would fit the bill, but from the swatch it doesn’t look like it to me. 🙁
I swear these weren’t even on my radar until the swatches started rolling out lol. I hate when that happens! Now I want Siam and Laos for sure. I need to check our Exumas and Cappadoce in person asap!
I love Anguilla, but what’s keeping me from jumping on it is that the casings are so much smaller than any of my other “stick” products, and it would get lost among them, and I’d probably not reach for it as often as I’d like. I’m not complaining about less product for the same price, as these are sooo much more pigmented than the original, but I’d rather have a similar amount at a higher cost, if it meant a more uniform casing.
None of these will work as a contour shade for me, either. I was hoping for a matte version of St. Bart’s, but these all run so warm.
I REALLY like Siam. It’s my favourite.
Oh mah gerrrddd… I fell in love with at least three of these shades already! Nooooooo, lol 🙂
The orangey/coral-y/redish one is stunning! And those browns look like potential contouring products, looking forward to the review Christine!
Would it be weird to use any of the multiples on your eyes? I love the brown shades and I’m always one to use cream shadows compared to powder because of dry skin. I wish NARS would come out with matte multiple minis of sorts! I don’t think I could use a whole tube up so minis would be divine!
You can find minis on ebay, for an average price of $15 USD.
Omg! Thanks for telling me! I honestly didn’t know they already existed! I’m so excited to buy some
Which shades would you say are the best for bronzing? And pretty blush color?
Exumas and Anguilla are soo pretty! Exumas almost looks like Dim Infusion to me, and Siam is so bright. It looks like a lipstick!
I absolutely love the look of these, just wish I had more of an idea how to apply them :(. I feel like if I just swiped this over my foundation it would wipe the foundation away, sigh.
Siam is GLORIOUS. 😀
I thought Altai might be a possible contour for me from some other photos I saw, but seeing yours has definitely cleared up that it’s too yellow-based and dark, so thanks!! I’m so excited NARS is comeing out with matte stuff!
Looking forward to hearing all the details! 🙂
If they turn out to be good, these will be the first Multiples I’ll have 🙂 I sure love Capadoce (I think it would be a GREAT shade for my NC-42 skin), Exumas and Laos!!!
Laos and Siam look amazing! Can’t wait to see the reviews 😀
these are gorgeous!
I just Ordered Altai. I hope I’ll like it. It looked interesting to use in place elf cream contour. I usually use Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel, But if this works out it’ll be better for my pocket book and closer to boot. My closest Chanel is about 2 hours away 🙁
Altai and Vientiane look amazing! Not sure I would be able to go through them completely though, so I might have to skip not to waste money..
There is a cool video on the Nars website that shows how you can use them wet or as is. Apparently wet sheers them out if I recall correctly. Can’t wait for your review. Thanks for the swatches.
Can anyone tell me what you use these for?
At the very least, depending on the shades, you can use them for blush, contour, bronzer, eyeshadow, and lip color. I find them to be a bit drying for the lips though. You can apply them directly from the tube, or using your fingers (which helps to warm the product), or makeup blushes. HTH (hope this helps). 🙂
Just like I said about Chanel Fleurie Rouge Allure Lipstick the other day, Anguilla is also such a happy, brightening, springtime color.
