These look way drier than the creamy matte formula…. why make a drier formula version.?!?!?

Maybelline Honey Pink, Naked Coral, and Almond Rose are the only shades that catch my eye.

I *know* these are meant to be used as nudes that are complimentary to ones skintone, but it’s the 2 deeper shades that have me going “ooh and ahh” over here! Brown Blush reminds me of one of UD Vice lipsticks, and Toasted Truffle makes me think of my beloved MAC Royally Riotous lipstick! ?

Just about to say, those two and raw chocolate. Btw, Ulta is having buy 1, get 1 @ 50% off now, I think. Yellowed tones aren’t great for me. Reading Angelica’s comment made me wonder what formula it is. I only have loaded bolds and touchable taupe. Wonder if I can trust these? This is the peach direct and yellowed season. My spending yen is at an all time low. (Good thing, I still have some f/w wait listed stuff.). Browned Blush for the win. Cruised big Sephora today and was quite underwhelmed. Yay!

I don’t like ultra-light nudes like the first four shades, but it seems everyone is bringing them out for spring. I like the darker colors, especially Brown Blush.

Money saved for another season. I like them on others, but not on me. On me, it’d be more of ‘a look’ than an orange red or a red brown. Remind me of early 60s nudes. Think I associate those shades with what I wore, when I thought I was too young for reds!

Wow, I don’t know why almost all of these look like duds the me. The only one that looks even close to something I would wear is naked coral….and ok, maybe raw chocolate. I’m a nude lipstick girl and these look rough.

‘Tis the season for weather so dry, I get electrical shocks touching everything at work. My lips are chapped, my cuticles are crying, and I can hear my hair crackle.

JUST the right time to release a collection of what appear to be dry, spackle-like lipsticks!

Oh, Maybelline, I love you so. Why? Whyyyy??

[shakes fist at sky]
[looks at dry hand skin on fist, decides she needs more hand cream]

* (Okay, the last two don’t look TOO terrible.)

Ohhhh! Brown Blush is giving me MAC Private Party tease. I recently had to B2M it and never got a back up. I need this one and HOPE it is similar on me.

Hmmm – normally I really like a couple of lipsticks from their collection, but this time I’m not. For a start, their mattes are really drying and they look so on your poor lips. Secondly, the shades range is just so so. Nothing really different, in fact some of the shades look terrible. Nope this is not a winner for me.

Oh, I was hoping you would review some of these. Maybelline lipstick is such an inexpensive way to update your look. Looks like I’ll have to buy Brown Blush and Almond Rose.

Just as well as I got the Sephora nude lip kit and don’t need any more nude colors, because none of these speak to me at all. I’m not sure I enjoy a matte nude anyway. Love matte bold lips as they look modern but dry pale lips just look sickly.

The colors don’t wow me, but a couple are nice. I hope they’ve improved their formula. I liked the Loaded Bolds formula, but the typical Maybelline matte lipstick is hit or miss. The lighter colors can be patchy and drying. I’m more likely to get matte lipstick from another drugstore brand.

I just got Honey Pink and Naked Coral, and from the pictures here they look very similar but I’m very light skinned and I can see the difference on me! I love them, but excited to purchase the deeper colors.

I bought three of these: Raw Chocolate, Toasted Truffle and Brown Blush. I have no issues with dryness. The light shades probably look dry because they’re too light and therefore apply patchy and uneven. They actually feel like a very creamy matte, and are long wearing. Love these!
