Make Up For Ever 4 Golden Peach Star Lit Liquid

Make Up For Ever Star Lit Liquid ($24.00 for 0.15 fl. oz.), which is a liquid highlighter for eyes and cheeks, and Make Up For Ever Star Lit Powder ($21.00 for 0.04 oz.), which is a loose powder highlighter for eyes, lips, and cheeks (two shades, not shown, 19 Ultramarine and 27 Gunmetal are not not safe for all three but is unclear which are safe, so I opted not to purchase those entirely). Here are swatches:

IDK, I’m not liking the chunky glitter /streaky base in the Lit Liquids, think the Cover FX ones are much nicer. The Lit Powders look better, I can see Copper Star looking great on warmer, medium to darker skintones

Powders look a lot better than liquids. Liquids look uneven and fairly undifferentiated. Hope you’re not monitoring this! And having a very great, well deserved holiday.

WOW – how interesting and what a great idea to have a brush applicator for pin point accuracy in placing the product. The traditional paler highlight shades have really caught my eye and piqued my interest…Pink Beige, Frozen Purple and to my surprise, Golden Pink Star. And Anthracite….how wonderful that would be on the eyes as a shadow on its own or as a base for some powder eyeshadows.

I’m so glad your reviewing these Christine!!As soon as I saw these on the Sephora website I wanted to buy them all but I decided to wait and see if someone swatches and reviewed them. The Ivory is the powder I wanted the most and from the look of the swatch I am definitely getting it.I have Gold Digger from Artist Couture which seems very similar to Frozen Gold.Frozen Purple is another one of my top choices for the powders. The liquids are harder for me to decide white can sometimes look too stark on a light/medium skin tone and that silver is original there aren’t too many straight sliver liquid or cream highlights out there.I want to see how they perform I love a good liquid or cream highlight as a base for a powder one.

Frozen Purple looks exactly like Make Up Atelier White Purple…only the MUA product is less than half the cost! I really thought I’d go for these but the liquids are sheer and I can easily dupe them with products I already have that are eye safe (like Jouer, Sigma, etc) and the powders are identical to the MUA release from about a year or more ago (and as I said the MUA products are much cheaper). So, while the collection looks nice, I’ll be passing for more economical options.

Wow, these are so pretty! I know, though, with 100% certainty, that I would grab one of the liquid ones thinking it was nail polish and attempt to paint my nails with it. XP

Not keen on the look of the glittery liquids but the powders ate another story. Anthracite looks the best one, love that dark iridescence like a raven’s feathers.

Sucha a shame about the Gunmetal and Ultramarine; I’m curious to see an Ultramarine “highlighting powder.” I’ll keep looking for swatches, because, call me crazy but … I’m seriously tempted to try the Anthracite as a “blush,” and I’m wondering how the Ultramarine would look.
