We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I was hoping between this palette, tarte Energy Noir, and Sephora Overcast Filter, there would be one good one. Looks like they all swatched pretty rough though, hopefully the reviews are better than the initial sneak peeks 🙁

You’re probably swamped in helpful suggestions and tips but this palette reminded me a little of Sleek MakeUP’s Eye & Cheek Palettes, of which there are currently four (pretty interesting) colour variations! I have the nude/neutral one (Dancing Till Dusk) and I love it but would love to read your review too if you ever get around to them 🙂

Eeeks!!! What happened to Vivacious Vacuum Cleaner Bag??? And the other eyeshadows as well? My gosh, they ruined them! And I had been secretly hoping to nab VVCB if it ever got released again, because I didn’t grab it the first time around!

Seeing swatches of those darker shadows remind me of why I seem avoid MAC most of the time. I just can’t get behind such a huge brand that has such all-over-the-place quality control.

The palette is lovely, but those names “Vivacious Vacuum Cleaner Bag”? Who at MAC is paid to come up with these? Couldn’t help but laugh when I saw that.

These palettes look like hot messes. Nothing is as opaque as I would want them to be. What’s up with the lipstick looking so luminous. Girl About Town isn’t that sheer and luminous. These palettes are just weird.

The shadows look embarrassingly horrible, I think a few will score D or F rating. C’mon MAC, are you tone-deaf to all of our pleas to stop issuing so many mediocre or bad collections ???

Christine, I know you do your absolute best with these swatches. All I have to say is ‘Shame on MAC’ for such disappointing eye shadows!

I do like Girl About Town though!

What is the point of this palette?? That swatch of Girl about Town looks nothing like the original, which is a lovely, quality shade! The eyeshadow swatches are just atrocious… MAC has the most inconsistent quality across collections, I don’t understand it at all.

This palette screams;”El cheapo!!!” As if MAC just shoved a bunch of colors together in 5 minutes and sent it off to manufacturing to mass produce. Not impressed.

Wow, the eyeshadows are a big fail… I think Shadowy Lady (and Carbon) exemplify what you were saying a few days ago about MAC eyeshadow formula needing a reformulation (especially the ones they use in palettes). I mean, seriously, how dare they sell that?

Oh dear – those eye shadows look terrible in the swatch – very dry and patchy. Besides, the colours are ordinary – let’s face it Colour Pop does them better (And Milani). So no. The blushes look OK. I think I can predict the ratings on the eyeshadows though……

Ahhh too bad…I don’t like lipsticks in a palette but I really liked the colours in this one and would have considered buying it..until I saw how they swatched. I really wish MAC would reboot themselves as a company and release consistently good products. Not holding my breath though.

Those two blushes are very close in darkness on the cheek (at least to my eye) even though one is significantly lighter than the other in the pan. Or am I seeing things?

The Shadows look awful and Girl about Town look nothing like the Girl about Town in the tube which is a gorgeous pigmented color. Total pass..it looks cheap and like they cut the product somehow to make it lower cost. Thanks for getting these swatches up. I looked at that sale and wanted to buy so much! Fortunately, it would have arrived while I was gone so I really could not. Now, you have all these swatches up. So, I can buy smart! Thank you Christine!

Doesn’t look all that promising, does it?
I’m not a fan of compacts like this, in a way they are good, everything in one place, but generally I just take my lipstick with me when I go for a day out.
It will be interesting to see the reviews on this little palette.
