We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I was waiting for the lip glosses to be launched, but by the time i went to order the 40% off the goodbyes disappeared off the site, so i didn’t end up bothering to do one at all

Yeah! I am VERY interested in that Dazzleshadow set! It is reminiscent of a smaller, more edited Moondust palette, in a good way. I was excited about the Crystal Glaze glosses when I read their descriptions, but then I realized they were potted- bleh!

Thanks for the swatches Christine!!! You’re awesome 🙂 I wish Alluring came as a single, and I wish Flamingo Road was in a traditional lipstick formula

wow, i just did an about face on what i thought i wanted: Jasper looks like 5 other MAC shades i have, Moons of Saturn is both too sheer and the brown too warm, Glamourize Me has terrible payoff and Shining Hour is not unique but for Humoresque…..which is UD Solstice. On the other hand, the Lip and Cheek palette- though not perfect payoff- looks useful to own and the powder cheek duo doesn’t seem to have that awful stiff quality these capsule releases tend to have.

Oh man. When I first saw the picture of that Glamourize Me palette, I just about started drooling. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been tempted on first glance like that. But the swatches. Just, no. My wallet thanks you!

Really love some of the lipsticks as they are right in my “sweet spot” (Sherlock reference), hence probable dupes. A lot of the powder products look dry, textured and poorly pigmented. Not much here that tempts me.

PSA: For Obsessed+ and Pro Members these are available BUT! I had issues picking up the Retro Mattes I wanted. I had a successful order for the Dazzleshadows and some Eye Paints yesterday and went to order them today but kept getting errors. I called MAC early this morning and eventually found someone who helped out. She said there was a glitch with them and they’re working on it (someone should be calling me back eventually). Not sure if it’s fixed yet but just in case it happens to anyone else it’s a known issue now.

Splitting hairs here, but if they wanted to name the face palettes “Moons of Saturn” and “Moons of Jupiter”, couldn’t they have at least bothered to name all the shades in them after actual moons of Saturn and Jupiter? I mean, they have 115 moons between them, it’s not like there’s a dearth of names to choose from.

Half the names are Joan Crawford movies – I agree, I don’t get it!

Although I am really excited to see Joan Crawford’s work getting name checked!

The Shining Hour quad really puts me in mind of the Caviar Deams quad from years back…slightly different colours but the same “vibe”. Very much liking Bloodstone and Jasper lipsticks and will be keen to see your reviews of them. The Best of Everything quad looks sort of like MAC took some of their permanent shades (like Quarry, Carbon) and renamed them and put them in that quad. The colours of some of the Lip and Cheek products look nice but I wonder about the textures and wear.

I was kind of excited for this collection but like most MAC releases lately it looks pretty disappointing from the swatches.I have Coral Bliss and I wanted the Dazzleshadow quad but I already have Last Dance and it’s just not unique enough for me to get it now that I see the swatches but I do love Humoresque. They are using names NARS has already used like Callisto which is one of Nars’s Dual-Intensity Eyeshadows and Humoresque was the name of the Steven Klein picture on the Audacious lipstick coffret from that collection.I like the Matte liquid lipsticks but they look really drying. The casual colors palette looks interesting I’ll have to see your review.

I was most looking forward to the cream colour base palette of this collection. I have to say I’m quite disappointed with the swatches. I understand they are cream colour bases but they appear to be very sheer, almost as if they been watered down somehow. Looking forward to your review
