MAC Grand Illusion Liquid Lipcolour ($21.00 for 0.17 fl. oz.) is a new lipgloss that releases November 9th. There are 14 shades–I have 12, which are swatched below–that are “packed with iridescent pearls” and have a “refreshing cooling sensation that makes lips feel instantly fuller.”

Very Light, Pink undertones. Normal-to-Dry skin.

With the exception of Space Bubble, Pearly Girl and Pink Trip, these look outrageously BAD.

Very Deep, Neutral, slight yellow undertones. Very Oily skin.

I think metallic lips are replacing matte liquid lipsticks? I imagine these would be beautiful over lipsticks.

Omg these are beautiful! I love glosses (except when my hair gets stuck to my lips but got to suffer for ~beauty~) and will definitely need to buy rave bunny! And there’s a light blue one I like the look of, and broken halo… and electric rainbow is so pretty although won’t suit me, and to be honest I love them all <3 I don’t think they will be released in the uk until 2018, how am I supposed to survive?

These are really pretty! Most of them would probably be best as toppers, but I’m liking them.

Medium, Olive, neutral undertones. Combination skin.

Out of these all, I do like Space Bubble and Queen’s Violet to pop on top of deep, vampy lipsticks! Sensory Overload is one I love, but having Bite Peacock Prismatic Lip Creme, I just don’t know.
Oh, and Electric Rainbow is something else! Would put that over something like UD Tilt for a tequila sunrise effect!

i want that bite beauty peacock and mac sensory overload darn it. Im obsessed with eyeshadows like that now with the cool lip stuff coming out in my fave eyeshadow colors im so excited. The green one would love great over that green with envy mac lipstick i got last winter omfg

I’m not sure how comfortable I am with “Sensory Overload” as a lipgloss shade name if I’m being honest. Considering it’s a horrible thing I personally experience on a pretty regular basis, and yet not believed or well understood by the majority of people in my life (including medical professionals).

Naming a lip color after it without any information attached doesn’t exactly lead to increased awareness, either. :/

And now MAC enters the hyper glittery lipgloss trend! I am all for it, especially if it leads to more colors and lower prices. But, some fo these only look so-so!
