We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Wow, the Fruit a La-La and the Banana palettes actually look good…but I think I have dupes in the Too Faced Peach palette and the Anastasia Modern Renaissance palette. I will have to see how they are in person. Swatches look good though!

OMG, that face powder/blush needs to be mine!!!! I’ve been drooling over it ever since I first saw it. And love, love the packaging on this one!

Wow. This looks like one of MAC’s better quality collections in quite some time! Everything looks richly pigmented and yummy! ?

That face powder looks a lot more wearable for me in your swatches. I thought it might be way too warm but I suppose with the other shades mixed in, it pulls less overtly warm. I also really like Love in the Glades. I probably have shades dupes but I like them all in a single palette. Even the other palettes look decent but will probably skip as I have too many similar shades. Thanks for your post!

I haven’t been so excited about a MAC release in a long time! The swatches look really good, and there’s no Carbon, a first! Oh My Banana and Fruit A La La will be mine 😀 I’m also looking forward to the Fix+ – I need to get a replacement and that packaging is adorable!

Wow…everything looks so nice! Even the matte eyeshadows look great in the swatches – I can’t wait for your full review. I just got done depotting my stash, and now here I am totally sucked in to new stuff- and this packaging is so pretty that I’ll keep it as-is. No depotting of these pretty things!

The eyeshadow swatches look surprisingly good. I’m especially liking the Love in the Glades palette. Unlike most people though, I’m not a fan of the packaging.

Oh wow I think I have never clicked on the swatch shades before from the sneak peaks! Lol I feel a little silly now. Thank you for pointing that out to me. I am loving the packaging of the compacts. It’s so pretty, I might get either the blush or one of the bronzers, mostly just for the packaging.

Whenever you see the sneak peek in this format, everything is already uploaded and added to the database – all photos, price, availability, etc. The only things that aren’t in until the review are usually dupes/actual review and for something an eyeshadow palette, any photos of it tested on the eye might not be in yet (because the day I photograph is not always the day I test). Occasionally, I might add dupes in advance (depending on the product or situation), but generally, adding dupes is the last step in my process.

Cumulus and Bye Bye Bahamas in the “Glades” palette are calling me (as is the whole palette, more or less) but – as is so often the case – I’ve dupes for most of the shades. Still, it’s a nice looking palette. The Pearl Matte powder is so pretty but probably too warm for me.

I like a lot of these, I adore Neoprene Green! Wish it was permanent and sold solo or if I could make my own palette from these colors because I also love Soleil, Arriva Carnal, Electric Mandarin, maybe also the Big Kahuna. The Oh My Passion pearlmate face powder also looks special, and top it all off with Shake Shake Shake and I’d be a very happy fruity camper!

I’m so pleasantly surprised by how well everything appears to have swatched. And the packaging…I had a hawaiian Barbie in second grade and the packaging reminds me so much of her bikini and the accessories she came with, including the sticker on the little pot of lip balm.

Interesting collection though only the face powder compels me. I have shades similar to the lipsticks and lipglosses in this collection.

I don’t understand why Mac doesn’t re promote their Prolongwear Bronzers in their Summer collections anymore. I have completely used up the ones I had and I really miss them. They were such a lovely formula!

Gina Avatar

I completely agree! Every time a summer collection is announced, I frantically search for the Pro Longwear bronzers. Nude on Board is my favorite bronzer of all time! The shade is perfect and the texture is incredible.

I love the packaging on these, but I’m not sure I’ll actually like many of the actual products on my face! The pearlmatte powder is a beautiful colour but may be too light to function as anything but a blush topper, and I will not buy something just to use it as a blush topper.

The trick in makeup industry is to make you believe that it’s pretty AND useful, while you actually don’t need it.

The little voice inside me is saying Oh my passion palette is sooo pretty, and i can use it !
But I already have this kind of product, just in other kind of packaging !

Good work the Mac designer team for the powder pattern ! The design of the compact should be changed. Depot the pan and put it in a Guerlain or Dior compact and it will look high end !
