MAC Fashion Fanatic Eyeshadow Palette is one of six “Personality Palettes” the brand is releasing for the MAC Girls collection, which officially debuts today online and at select MAC stores. I’ll be sharing sneak peek swatches of all six palettes with one per post to keep everything organized. Each palette has eight eyeshadows and a highlighter, and it seems like the formula is new as the finishes are listed as Satin Shine, Smooth Pearl, Foiled Shadow, and Creamy Matte.

Light, Neutral undertones. Normal skin.

Fighting the urge to buy this palette as I have dupes of the shades (some from MAC!) The dark purple yet again looks like a weak try by MAC. They don’t seem to do the shade well ever. IDK, I don’t need this. I may very well succeed at skipping. Thanks for the preview!

Thanks for starting to peek these. I had forgotten that the big pan was highlighter. This is a nice selection (with the exception of MAC’s usual bad matte dark plum/purple.) It hits the current faves without outright copy cat…and seems quite idiot proof. Unlike the palette that shall not be named, the combos in this one hit you between the eyes with a 2×4. It IS that obvious. This has been designed well for a beginner or young person crowd, yet would suit us fogeys as well. I would call this one a good training palette. I like it too, but see it more as a gift, bec it’s prob duped to death in most of your reader’s stashes.

I hope the other palettes swatch better – I’m really excited about the princess one of the bunch!

Christine I’m in an “either/or” dilemma. This one (Fashion Fanatic) or Marc Jacobs Provocouture. I also asked about Mischief Minx vs. Scandalust. I’m a primer girl, so I think I’ll be able to get all of these to work unless they are of Subculture performance and that I can’t imagine lol. THANKS SO MUCH!!! 🙂

Mad mod and wild card would look super awesome together I think!

Hmmm, I like this, there are some colours I know I don’t have dupes for. Not sure I’ll buy it, I’ll wait and see how much the’ll cost here, and of course I must read the reviews first.
Again I have a problem with the names of the eyeshadows, or one of them, Totally Fierce is not fierce at all, not to me, anyway.

Gotta say that, in this palette especially, it really looks like they just renamed some of their permanent shadows. I see Beautiful Iris, Stars n Rockets, Passionate, and India Ink, just off the top of my head
