Very cohesive collection I love the color story may pick up a few things not sure if I need the palette I have the Sephora water color palette seems very similar. I think Lorac did a great job putting this together !
So pastel and the eye look is awesome!
Ooooh, thank you. I have been SO curious about this palette! I was expecting some Sephora Panetone disaster, but these look much better –some are on sheer side, but they look buildable with primer, definitely decent for a pastel shadow palette, and lots of mattes here too. Was curious about that green highlighter, but not sure if I can pull off the color, but the pink look interesting. Can’t wait for your thoughts!
Yes! that the palette this reminded me of from last year. I would get it but the shipping it pretty high to Canada from Amazon or Lorac. 🙁 Miss the brand being at Sephora.
Phew, Christine, pastel overload! 😀
Fun concept, and the swatches don’t look too bad, considering they’re pastels, but this is a collection I’ll skip. I’m not a neutral person, but I seldom reach for pastels.
I’m excited to see how the palette compares quality and color-wise to the KVD Pastel Goth palette since I missed that (and don’t have high hopes for snagging it during their brief re-release). Also, I’m really excited about the highlighter
It’s not close. The lorac is color pastels, kvd is more for the paint/chalk pastels.
omg yes! I can’t wait to pick this up when it hits stores!
It’s on ulta!
I’m waiting for it to hit the physical store so I can use my discount on it!
O.M.G Christine, this makeup look is amazing!!!!
I think this will be such a nice supplement for my KVD Pastel Goth palette!
I was thinking that too! There really isn’t much overlap between the two, this is definitely a “purer” pastel palette than Pastel Goth.
Pastels sure seem to be a big trend going into spring! Especially with eyeshadow palettes. Plus many nude lipsticks, or light shades. This eye look you did is so fresh and pretty!
Some of the eyeshadow colors look interesting, but the quality of the swatches looks uneven.
The swatches aren’t selling me, but that eye look absolutely is.
This is exactly how I feel. Christine that look made me want the palette bad.
I missed out on the pastel palette from Kat Von D and although this is not as bright, I love it and hope the reviews are good!
Ahhh… if only pastels were for me!
I SO Want that highlight! Big sigh at how difficult it is to get lorac here in Canada.
I don’t think I’d be wearing a lot of the colours in this palette but it appears that the quality is pretty up there! I’m loving the pastel shades – reminds me a lot of Easter!
I’m not into pastels so for once I don’t mind LORAC’s inavailability (is that even a word?). I do wish I could get the greenish highlighter though. Looks very interesting.
I don’t think this palette looks good at all. The colors look so chalky and unpigmented. The swatches are barely noticeable on the skin, and built up, look pasty and chalky on the eye. I’m not loving the pastel craze, because very few people look good in pastel white based makeup. The pastel lipsticks are horrendous, and that green highlighter… I have no words…
To each their own! I appreciate a light wash of color sometimes and I think the lipsticks look lovely on Christine!
So pastels are a thing this year, I guess. I HATE pastels, in anything, possibly because I look like a corpse if anything approaching a pastel gets within a city block of me. This is a diamond hard pass for me. Good thing I’m past the age of feeling the need to indulge in every trend!
Very pastel shades for spring, not really to my liking, but it seems to be a fairly decent job.
My advice: if your eggs benedict look that gray, don’t eat them….
Anyways, some shades here look weak but you manage to create a very pretty, colorful look. I’ll be curious to read your full review, and I also wonder how that green highlighter looks on the face.
Pretty colors but to me the colors don’t look strong enough for African American skin if they show up like that on her skin 🙁
I love pastels!!Eagerly awaiting your reviews.I adore the beautiful eye look you created Christine❣️
This is an easy pass for me. Pastels aren’t my thing.
Wow! A really nice cohesive collection. I’ll pass on all except maybe the palette. I love my pastel goth palette and this would go nicely with it but unless it reviews off the chain I’ll probably pass. Just because I feel that in a year I won’t touch it.
You totally jogged my brain! This palette is what I had wished the Pastel Goth would be. Now I understand why I like it so much!
I supplement pastel goth with her Metal Matte palette and the looks turn out great!
Eek I actually like the green highlighter. I don’t think I’ll wear it enough to justify the price though since I’m pretty sure colourpop makes a green highlighter.
Your eye look is very stunning. I LOVE pastels but never worn such light colors on my eyes think I’m gonna wait on your reviews for the palette but def getting that pink blush and some lipgloss. Hard to decide as I like it all.
Can’t wait to see the green highlighter. Thanks so much! I’ve been excited about this!
The lipsticks look gorgeous! Not sure about the palette anymore, but it is really pretty.
Oh my god Christine your eyes look amazing! Its so inspirational and nostalgic!
Looks like a B palette, lol. Some of the swatches look weak in pigmentation. Pretty pastel color scheme .I might have caved if the colors were more saturated. Pastry Chef lipstick looks good. Nice job on the eye look Christine!!
The eyeshadows aren’t my cup of tea, but some of the lip colors look nice.
Your eye look made me think of the My Little Pony ponies my daughter had when she was little.
After a Winter and Fall full of browns, reds and jewel tones I can definitely get into these pastels. They are just so pretty and Springy.
Looks respectable; esp. for pastels. I need to hunt down a tutorial for pastel shadows for mature skin.. or is that oxymoronic. Would like to be able to pull off something with a on trend pastel feel without going overboard. I think maybe the KVD palette may be better suited in that respect. Comments/suggestions are welcome.
That eye look is SOOO pretty!! You sold me on the KvD palette with the awesome eye look you did with that! I’m afraid you might have done it with this as well!! LOL
All these pastel shades coming out are so…GLORIOUS!
KVD started a pastel trend. We will be flooded with pastels this spring.
Hahaha, I had to sit out most of the fall trends because of warm russet cranberry shades but now I’ll have to sit out spring if it’s all about pastels. I can I get some love for shimmery cool-toned colors?? whoop whoop!
This collection reminds me of Polly Pockets.
Lovely, lovely collection! The mint highlighter and lavender blush might have to come home with me.
This reminds me a little bit of last year’s Sephora x Pantone Modern Watercolor Palette (which didn’t get great reviews). I’m going to try to recreate that gorgeous eye look you did for this one Christine!! Surely I’ve got enough pastels around here already…
Ach! Pastels! I broke out in hives just looking at them. If I had an arch-enemy, they’d probably wear pastels. 🙂
These pastels look surprisingly opaque, a good thing. Nothing worse than a sheer pastel.
I love all the time and effort you put into your collection reviews. You give honest reviews/opinions and I throroighlu appreciate that you swatch everything on your arm as well as the lips so we can see the product of various canvasses. My main concern with this palette was the pigmentation. Pastels often seem to be chalky with little color pay-off but if this Brunch palette is as pigmented and buttery as what I’ve heard (I could care less about the kickback, fall out or powderiness as long as they’re pigmented and blend well). I was on the fence until I saw Tatis video and then yours. Think I’ll be taking the leap.
***and I LOVE the eye look you came up with. It looks beautiful h
I got this pallet because it’s so…..pretty and pastel like lol but the pigmentation is terrible 🙁 people with darker skin tones is definitely up the creek with this pallet ?
