LORAC Brunch Queen Alter Ego Lip Gloss ($17.00 for 0.13 fl. oz.) is a light-medium lavender with cooler undertones and fine pearl. It had semi-sheer color payoff that applied evenly on the lips--as in the color did not show streaks--but pulled into every lip line I had, so it did not look that great on its own. The texture was smooth, creamy without being thick, and comfortable to wear over the three hours it lasted on me.
The Alter Ego Lip Gloss formula is supposed to offer "highly pigmented" color with a "soft, vanilla scent." The four new, limited edition shades for spring are more pastel, and as a result, they tended to suffer from a milkier consistency that was prone to settling into my lip lines. They had semi-sheer to semi-opaque pigmentation with average wear (three hours). The formula had a sweet, vanilla scent, was mostly non-sticky, and lightly hydrating.
