Sneak Peek: Laura Geller Baked Blush-n-Brighten Photos & Swatches
Laura Geller Peach Delight Baked Blush-n-Brighten
Recently, I bought all the shades in the new Laura Geller Baked Blush-n-Brighten ($28.00 for 0.16 oz.) range (there was a sale, I believe 40% off!), and here are swatches to enjoy 🙂 I will be reviewing them throughout the next month or two.
Ooh, I’m looking forward to this! I have one of these (Pink Buttercream) and I really like it, although I have to use a very light hand so that I don’t go overboard! ?
Same! I have the same shade and I got it in a set (mascara, lip gloss, blush). I’m stunned at how pigmented it is! Normally baked products tend to sheer out on my skin but I have to use my loosest brush with this. If nothing else, it’s worth the price compared to my usual drugstore blushes.
Is it just me or is there a lot of over lap in this line? The colors look very similar to me
I was just thinking that! Like they all look vaguely the same.
Me, too. Same w/ soft serve. It is as if the base product is all the same, slightly differing amounts of shimmer was added, and the color/hue was tweaked/added. But the eye draws out the underlying similarity, rather than the color. Additionally, at least on my tablet, they are of very similar depth/intensity and run warm. Not very similar to my old Gellar product.
My thoughts as well. They seem like a baked version of the Becca beach tint shimmer souffles. They rather ended up looking more similar than not as well.
Pretty finish on them though.
I thought the same thing! They’re pretty none the less
These remind me a fair bit of the Max Factor baked blushes (sold in the UK, not sure about the US) but these look way more promising and a nicer shade range.
I see at least three that I’d want. No wait, four!
Laura Geller makes amazing blushes! I don’t like the packaging, but I have more of her blushes than any other brand!
I’m definitely looking forward to your thoughts on these. I ended up grabbing Sunswept and the Just Blushing palette and I’m really enjoying them so far. I think her blushes are so beautiful!
‘Pink grapefruit’ is my daily blush. Love — great color for me, lasts a long time, sheen is moderate (I don’t look like a shiny robot with it on). A tiny bit dusty when I brush the container, but not a big deal. Took me months and $$ to find the perfect blush to replace a discontinued Chanel favorite. I really like it, hope it stays on the market for the foreseeable future. Looking forward to your experience and review!
Even the cool ones look quite warm. Still, as I can’t get LG in Canada, I don’t need to fret (these look so lovely in their pans).
I’m really liking the look of these blushes. Only Boysenberry looks a bit patchy on the swatches.
Pray tell, where was this 40% sale at??
It was on the brand’s website!
I’m so excited for your review and face swatches–her Apricot Berry shade (maybe DC’d?) is the blush I reach for 95% of the time–it has such a natural sheen to it and the color works with everything. After two years, I haven’t even made a visible dent in the product. (Literally, it still looks unused.)
They definitely have a beautiful glow to them.
Ooh, these look pretty! Eyeing Golden Apricot and Honeysuckle, hoping they will help me pull off those peachy tan lipsticks that I have a hard time wearing because of my yellow undertones
Some of these look positively delightful! Pink Buttercream looks awesome-sauce! I am liking what I’m seeing above.?
Oh ….. I have enough blushes and I am happy with most of them – now this? I see some very nice colors! I am anxious to see how they look on you Christine!
I have pink grapefruit baked blush and pink buttercream baked blush. They are really pigmented and blend so well.
Some of those look great, others look a little light on the pigment.
Lots of lovely, barely shimmery colours to choose from here. I quite like the Golden Apricot one.
I’m wondering, is Golden Apricot close to Mac’s Warm soul (the old formula that was disc’d, not the new one)? I don’t live close to a CCO but would love a great dupe for it & LG’s blushes sound like a great formula
They look so pretty in the pan, but I feel like they will be too shimmery for my taste when applied to my face.
Hi, Christine, are these a new formulation, or just new-to-you?
Thanks!
New-to-me — apologies for being late to the game!
No apols necessary. Just trying to keep score :-). Thanks for sharing these. In fact, they’re having a 50% off sale right now, so pink buttercream is *mine*! Thanks, as always, for the review!
