We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Is it just me, or should they have swapped the names for “Tiny Tangerines” and “Salt Water?” Also … “Rose All Day?”

All that aside, “Beach Blanket” would be a great color for me, and I don’t think I have anything like it. Also “As You Wave.”

Gotta work on my 2 dupe rule…then maybe I won’t have to score so many of these. The blues look surprisingly decent. But Cannonball and As You Wave are my faves. I’ve loved orange since the 70s! My wishlist is heavy on them. Are they messing with us with the names? Rose? All Day? Tiny Tangerines? Are banana daiquiris really blue? How about tangerines? Probably some kind of a closed joke. Someone will blog about that, to let us in on these names. Far better than numbers, even if they are peculiar choices. CP certainly hits it, with very few misses.

Your 2 dupe rule sounds very sensible. I remember reading on makeup rehab that sometimes people buy lots of dupes and could have made their lives easier/cheaper by just buying the original product that they wanted. Your comment speaks to me! I like the idea of having a hard limit on a number of dupes in one’s collection.

What do you do when you want all the new stuff but are unwilling to declutter your existing stuff? I’m fairly new to the makeup world so my collection isn’t that old and I’ve already run out of room! God knows I’ve got enough eye shadow already to last me till I die but then I see all this other stuff I really want too…this is definitely a first world dilemma!

I feel you Shawne, I just got into makeup, like doing more than just foundation, Nov 2016, and I keep feeling like I am stockpiling makeup, so hard to resist buying! One trick my sister told me to use is to see if I would still buy something if the price was doubled. Darn colourpop for being good and cheap!

Colorpop knows their demographic very well to be releasing this collection in a mini z-palette! It can be annoying to depot things or use up a palette “evenly” to avoid hitting the pan completely in a couple of overused colors. I am impressed with their decision, here.

I like the bright summer colors as well! Some of the names are funny, but I do think that it’s Rosé all day – as in the wine – since it’s the current fad. Just a guess! Thanks for all of your reviews Christine – this website has became my go to for swatches & makeup ratings!
