We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

The idea of a Smashbox Burlesque collection sounds cute, but the execution sucks:/ It’s very bland. Just like with the Masquerade collection. Bland packaging with unexciting colors.

I recently bought this set, and the products have great texture and pigmentation. They’re also more vibrant in person than they are in the photos. I had pretty much given up on Smashbox after being disappointed by the last couple of items I bought, but the Burlesque set is really nice.
