Smashbox Endless Kiss Limitless Long Wear Lip Gloss
Smashbox Spring 2011: Endless Kiss
Smashbox In Bloom Limitless Long Wear Lip Gloss ($21.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a pale coral-nude with subtle gold shimmer. On lips, it’s virtually colorless, while it does add a glossy shine. This is a new and limited edition shade from Smashbox’s spring collection. This gloss has an angled doe-foot applicator that’s thin and pointed, which makes it easier to maneuver on thinner lips.
my thoughts on the formula: It’s a thicker, nearly non-sticky but it has this faint tackiness, along with a subtle, spiced vanilla scent. I have not found the majority of the range to have much pigmentation, so the differences between each gloss is minimal. They last four hours on me, which is shy of the six they’re proposed to last. My concern with these glosses in the amount you get — a mere 0.10 oz. Most glosses are more like 0.20 oz. They do have SPF 15 in them, which is a nice touch.

final thoughts: From what I’ve read and seen, these are not meant to deliver a lot of color but are more about high shine with longer-lasting results.

This would have been a great shade if the gloss had ANY pigmentation at al… Shame
I was thinking the same thing. I clicked on this hoping to see my next splurge item. 🙁
What a shame! It’s such a lovely color in the tube.
So bright in the tube. So sheer on the lips.
Do my eyes deceive me or does that red shade apply that sheer?
lol @ the dupe
LMAO
This just seems pointless to me.
oh man… sheeerrr
It looks great on you but I find it disappointing that the pigmentation is minimal. I wouldn’t pay that much for something that lacks punch.
The color looks so gorgeous in the tube, such a shame it’s so sheer. 🙁
who the heck would buy something with zero pigment? bummer..
i actually like the actual color it delivers…i like that color better than the tube color 😛
I’m also mega mega sad this is so sheer; with a color-in-tube like that and with that awesome name, I was totally ready to pick this up had it been pigmented 🙁
Sheer isn’t the word for this one….more like non-existant!
This is kind of a disappointment.
Aww, it looks so pretty in the tube!
What a tease. Beautiful color in the tube. Not so much color at all on the lips.
Why even bother with the color on the tube if it’s going to go on that sheer? Just making a sheer gloss would probably work just the same. Sometimes I just don’t get the things that makeup companies release.
Omg wth. I’ve bought similar glosses before from Rimmel, those juicy-tube copies – it was cherry in the tube and then BOOM clear-waste-of-money.
It’s like a magic trick! I can make this red gloss disappear!
$21 for a clear lipgloss?? I’d rather get a clear bonne bell lip gloss for a dollar and keep the other $20 for gas money, lol.
That cannot possibly be the same color in the tube!
wow you could have the same lip color with vaseline:) what a joke!
Christine, you just saved me $21.00…
Lol, I think they need to re-advertise this. Have you guys seen the old kool-aid drinks that changed color when you mixed them with water? They should advertise this as lipgloss that changes color when you swatch them!
Yikes.
What a let down! How is that even possible?
The color in the tube is nothing like the actual result. Total waste of money.
it is a shame that this gloss has no color, but I LOVE your eye look in your full face pic… do you have a tutorial for your eye look here? would love to see it!!!
I believe it’s this look! 🙂 http://www.temptalia.com/quick-easy-spring-look
I have this and it actually does look more coral on me than it does on you. I have a slightly darker skin tone. It’s weird–this is definitely the same exact color I recently got. I may just be extra sensitive to any kind of color on my lips–I’m more of a nude lip, dramatic eye type–but my tube definitely seemed to deposit more color. I would recommend to those wanting to try it to go test it out before discounting it–it might work for you like it did for me.
