Smashbox Cosmetics – Eyeshadows – Photos & Swatches (Part 2)

Smashbox Cosmetics – Eyeshadows – Photos & Swatches (Part 2)

Smashbox’s Eyeshadows ($16.00 each) are really a sleeper hit to me. I’ve always heard rave reviews about their Photofinish Primer, Halo Powder, and gel eye liner, but their eyeshadows are really fantastic. Super smooth, pigmented, and easy to use. Not too expensive, either! Here are the other sixteen shades available…

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! It would be great if you could swatch their trios/duos for comparisons. I’ve found that the non-single shadows are chalky and have low pigment. Maybe it’s just the shades I’ve tried?

Wow! Obsidian is gorgeous. Do you think that’d work with blue eyes, NW20ish and dark brown hair? =x I wear thick frame glasses though =(

I use these a lot when working on TV shows. They have a dimentionality that most dont. They never appear flat or too shiny..just enough and great for the cat eye glam look. Their lipsticks are very nice too.

Ok, now that you’ve tempted us (you temptalia temptress you!) with these gorgeous swatches of NARS and Smashbox (and I’m sure more lines are to come), I want to know what your favorites are! What are your must haves? What do you want to pick up? What do you think of the textures and wear time? Do tell, Christine!!!

forgot how much I love smashbox 🙂 thanks for the reminder. it is hard to find the brand in the UK, so now I have a wishlist for NYC. darn it. lol

it is true, the eyeshadows look amazing on film/in photos.

think blackout is a good dupe for MAC carbon? =)Thanks so much for the post! Too bad enchanted isnt here! It’s a very gorgeous purple color!
