shu uemura Rouge Unlimited Lipstick & Gloss Review
PK 369, PK 325N
I recently tried two products from shu uemura’s Rouge Unlimited Pink Collection, which is a summer collection featuring nine Rouge Unlimited lipsticks and five Gloss Unlimited lipglosses–all pink themed, of course!
I tried PK 325N, which is a light pink gloss with blue-purple undertones. It applied fairly sheerly, but it still gave my lips a nice pink tint along with fuchsia sparkles that kind of cast a blue-violet shade. The shimmer is soft and fine, so it doesn’t feel like chunky glitter in the least.
I also tested out PK 369, which is a bright pink lipstick with blue undertones. This is an opaque lip color that packs quite a bit of pink punch. It’s definitely not for anyone afraid of rockin’ a bold lip! It feels creamy, and the finish is a glossy sheen that works well when worn alone.
Combining the two created a very glossy, fuchsia-ish pout. You could see a lot of the purplish shimmer from the gloss bring o the brightness in the lipstick. The two worked well together, though the combination is extremely bright!

Love the lipstick! Looks different on the lips… =)
I really like the way they look together 😀
i think PK 369 is so very you! Now I need to rethink about Shu Pink Lip collection. but I am relocating to Australia in December so I am trying hard not to add more lip products. you are so not helping!
Yeah? I haven’t worn hot pink in a long time, LOL. At least not out of the house!
wow those look great! esp the 369! will have to try them out…
do you think you will be incorporating them in a look?
I might, but I have so manyyy things to do with looks, I don’t know if these will make it in.
That gloss is gorgeous! I’m a bit tired of bright fuschia lipsticks at the moment (considering swapping my Gladiola), but the gloss is pretty. 🙂
The gloss had a pretty duochrome to it which I liked!
is this a limited collection or not? i have never used this line before as i am a MAC girl but i am loving this look? i love bright pink lips….i may want to try this out when i get paid on the 15 of may!!
I actually have no idea 🙁
Looks stunning Christine! However, the packaging of the lipstick looks like those cheap kids lipsticks?!
I know!LOL:)
LOL! I’m not a huge fan of the lipstick packaging either.
PK 369, PK 325N layered on top looks great! Love it!
Agreed! I like them best together!
Thanks for these swatches, Christine! I so want that gloss!
No prob, Teresa!
Thanks for the swatches and I’m loving the lipstick on you. Unfortunately I know that color would turn out entirely different on me due to the pigmented nature of my lips.
No prob, Leah! Really? 🙁 That sucks. It’s SO pigmented, I’m surprised it would be an issue!
Wow… that lipstick is gorgeous! I’ll have to go look at this when it’s available in stores.
Glad you like it! Let me know if you end up getting it 🙂
Ooohhh…pretty. Now does the gloss compare to MAC Crystal Rose?
Oops. How does the gloss compare to MAC Crystal Rose?
Not as pigmented, and the texture is definitely different (not thick or sticky), but they’re kind of similar.
I bought that gloss on Friday and am loving it! Worn on top of MAC’s Long Stem Rose slimshine, my lips are just the right shade of lilac – I think! (=
Ohh, sounds gorgeous, Rachel!
These colours are gorgeous by themselves and paired, though I don’t know how the lipstick would translate onto my skintone. The gloss reminds me of MAC’s Love Knot lustreglass (Naughty Nauticals?).. how would you say it compares?
It’s kind of similar, but probably not quite as pink!
Hi Christine, do you think 369 is similar to MAC dark pink lipsticks, such as Girl About Town?
It’s similar, but I think it is brighter!
I actually love the packaging ! Very minimalist.
🙂 And there you have why they aren’t changing it!
