Sephora Take a Spin, No Cell Service, In the Clouds Lipstories Lipsticks Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Take a Spin (41)
Sephora Take a Spin (41) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a soft, medium beige with warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic sheen. It had better pigmentation that I expected (almost opaque), but it had a lot of slip and the particle size of the glitter/sparkle seemed prone to making the color clump up on those particles rather than adhere to my lips evenly. The end result was a clumpy, patchy application that did not look good. It worked better layered over another product with a lip brush or fingertip. It wore well for three and a half hours and was lightly hydrating.

Formula Overview
$8.00/0.14 oz. - $57.14 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "lightweight" with "full-coverage color in one swipe." The majority of shades were pigmented with semi-opaque to full color payoff in a single layer, as described. The more shimmery shades tended to be a bit sheerer overall, while the mattes and creams were usually closer to opaque in coverage.
The textures were typically creamy, lightweight, and not too thin or too thick on the lips, so they were comfortable to apply and to wear. There were some shades where the color pulled into my deeper lip lines upon application, and it was more or less noticeable just depending on the color and finish of the particular.
Some shades seemed hydrating and others were non-drying. They lasted anywhere from three to over six hours on me. There was a subtle, sweet, fruity scent (I couldn't detect it on, just in the tube), and I haven't noticed any taste after wearing them.

No Cell Service (42)
Sephora No Cell Service (42) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium, golden copper with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had semi-opaque color payoff in a single layer, and the lipstick applied fairly evenly across my lips and was comfortable to wear. The texture felt smooth, lightly emollient but not too slippery, and the shimmer dispersed well over my lips. It lasted for four hours and was lightly moisturizing.

In the Clouds (43)
Sephora In the Clouds (43) Lipstories Lipstick ($8.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a birhgt white with neutral-to-cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. It went totally matte within an hour of wear. The texture was smooth, velvety, and not overly emollient, but it didn’t tug or pull on my lips when applied directly from the tube. It had good pigmentation, but it wasn’t opaque, and this type of color is hard to do right unless it’s opaque. The consistency was just right for mixing in with other lip products, though, as it wasn’t too thick or too creamy, but it also wasn’t firm, dense, or dry. On its own, it wore well for four hours but pulled into my lip lines over time. It felt neither drying nor hydrating.

Take A Spin looks so pretty….from a distance. Up close, though? Uh uh!
No Cell Service is gorgeous near and far. Unfortunately, having older teeth like mine makes wearing something this warm look rough. But I’ll give it a try in-store just to see.
Love No Cell Service – it would also look pretty over any other shade too.
No Cell Service looks like a great shade for summer/fall! On my buy list
No Cell Service is really pretty. I wish some of their other “Metal” shades looked as nice!
I love how No Cell Service looks on you, not as confident it would look as good on me.
