Sephora Rouge Lacquer ($13.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a newly-released lipstick formula available in 30 shades. (I bought all 30 shades but didn’t receive one, which is being resent.) The formula is supposed to have a “silky smooth melting formula” that has intense long-lasting color and high-shine” with “instant hydration.” Here are swatches…

Oooh loving Squad Goals -looks like the perfect nude, neutral lip for me! Putting on my buy list, thanks for the swatches! This looks like a really great collection

You lost me at “high shine.” Some pretty useful colors (though missing a bit in the berry range?). Packaging looks like it might be nice. What’s My Secret is really drawing my eye, but won’t be getting it as I don’t need any more lipstick (and, again, glossy — ick). The two darkest ones seem to share the same issues that most lipsticks ranges’ glossy darks do — streaky color (Riot Girl, too). Still, for the price, they seem like decent choices overall, assuming they don’t have any texture or slip issues.

Okay, I just have to throw out a question here. Does anyone else despise this type of bullet but me? I won’t even consider this type of bullet anymore. I made the big mistake of buying 3 Dior Lip Lacquers a few years ago and I’m still annoyed at the darn $$ I spent. ? One of them even broke at the bottom. I feel like I can’t apply that hem neatly enough.

Sorry for the “aside”!

These appeal to me a lot, especially the bottom few rows (with the exception of What’s My Secret).

The reds all seem super wearable! (not that I’ve ever shied away from any shade of red, but sometimes it’s nice to have less -POW- options)

Nice return to shininess. Glad you posted these before the sale: you are always thinking of readers and consumers. The two dark/cooler shades look like the only full misses. Nice range. Thanks.

Some really pretty lipsticks for a really appealing price (especially after the sticker shock of Tom Ford’s lip gelees). Wicked Smart, Empowered, Love Letter, Visionary and quite a few others have really caught my eye and at this price, I won’t have to limit myself to just one or two. I also love the positive, non drugs or sex-trade type names.

Pretty much love everything from “Strong as Hell” down. I like this type of formula and if they leave a light stain behind, even better. Looking forward to seeing your reviews. Now I must go look at the Tom Ford review! Something about a row of F’s for Tom Ford, has peaked my interest, LOL!

Ugh, guess how many of these are available on Sephora New Zealand.

13. THIRTEEN.

So I can’t even get the three that I want. FU, I guess Sephora.

I would like to know too!

But it happens with most brands, NYX, Dior, even Maybelline, etc we just don’t get the same range of products as the US. It’s so frustrating!

Do they have any kind of taste/scent? I didn’t like the Sephora Lip Stories lipsticks because something about the scent was offputting to me.

These look right up my alley! I love a good comfortable sheer hint of color lip product. It is my favorite kind because on a day to day basis when I don’t do my makeup I still like my lips to have some color on them, but an opaque lipstick never looks good to me (on me) without all my makeup done. I can’t wait to see how these perform. I love Sephora’s cream lip stains, but hate their lip oils and balms, so their lip products are very hit and miss for me. If these get good reviews I can see myself buying all but the really nude/tan ones – basically everything starting at the “Visionary” row and going down interest me.

Trying to figure out if “Strong as Helle” is actually the name of the shade. I’d it was only used once I’d figure it was a typo but since it’s listed that way twice… ? I have a friend who is originally from Denmark named Helle.
