I’m always super excited to see a Sephora Favourites box until I see that, yet again, a useless (to me) bottle of argan oil is a part of it. I can’t even give that stuff away…

After years you’d think Sephora would change the voucher to be redeemed in Canada also. Oh well, another year on passing (and saving money!)
I hear that! SO frustrating, but I gather it has to do with the huge duty on perfumes… Still, you’d think they could figure a way around it by now!
I was lucky enough to pick-up the last couple of sampler sets while on vacation in Las Vegas. It means waiting until I’m back in the US long enough to redeem, but as they don’t have an expiration date, I was able to use the first one to claim a bottle of LA Vie est Belle (which I was pleasantly surprised by!) and the other is earmarked for Gucci Guilty… And that one came with adorable mini-bottles not just the tiny spray samples, which look adorable on my vanity, lol.
Maybe if enough Canadians start demanding it Sephora will sort out a Canadian version? Seems unimaginable that we should pay the same (more, actually) yet not get the full bottle certificate! Ridiculous!
Otherwise… Have any friends who travel to the US who could help you?? 🙂
I like to choose my own products, not have someone pick a set for purchase. Besides, if you go to Nordstrom, they will give you a generous sample to take home to try. I don’t buy something only to return it later because of buyer’s remorse.
I may not find Sephora as a favorable shopping destination, but that was not always the case. I used to spend hours there and no one bothered me.

Sephora gives you generous samples too! Just ask the associates there and they can make you one!
These offer amazing value and a terrific opportunity to try new products or stock up on some faves at a good price. The issue for me is that each of the collections contains products I’ve tried before but wouldn’t repurchase (Algenist eye cream, Fresh Soy Cleanser and TF Better than Sex mascara) or that already have in abundance (Hourglass Primer, Purity Made Simple Cleanser). And I’m very fussy about scent so a fragrance assortment would never work for me unless I were planning to break it up and give some as little gifts (but, again, unless I know someone likes a particular fragrance, I am loathe to give them just any scent as a gift as scent is SO much a matter of personal preference and body chemistry). Still, these are nice sample and travel sized items and if I didn’t have so much “stuff”, I’d be sorely tempted.
I love Sephora’s value sets. It’s a great way to try many different products at a great price.
I own the beauty closet, and even though the price seems steep I think it is completely worth it. Even the things I didn’t think I would like, I’ve been using. Really adore these favorites sets!
How much? Forget it… I rather pick each product by myself, even if I end up paying more. Also I see a bunch of boring things.
At first glance these deals look fantastic, but if you don’t/can’t use the products it can be a waste of money. I would be wary of trying any of cleansing products on my skin due to sensitivity. However I am sure that the perfume box would be something I would love.
I love Sephora favourites sets – they are a great value, but I do find that they need to vary up the product selection!
I would have liked to see a couple more makeup sets but the skincare sets look pretty decent. I’m interested in checking both of them out

I love Sephora Favorites! Its a great way for me to try new things that I wouldn’t have otherwise purchased. From these sets, I have found products that really work for me and I buy the full size of it. So excited!! Thanks for posting!

I have wanted to try Becca’s opal, hourglass primer, BB anything is nice and I don’t own this lip product, Stila blushes aren’t bad and I have not used this one, I use JM’s Argan oil daily, BTS is one of my favorite mascaras, I’ve been using the clear brow gel for years, lancome lip stuff seems ok, beauty blender is nice. I like BM powders.
The BB cream, nail polish (2) and perfume I can do without. The other stuff (Tarte, gold liner) I may like, or already have and know I don’t like it and then I can sell for a few dollars online to make up for the $100 splurge.
For someone like me who is building up a collection over the last 1-2 years, this has a lot of stuff I would be interested in trying, or stuff i can always use more of in travel size.
I’m a doctor and work 80 hrs/week so having small sizes to bring to the hospital is really helpful!

Yeah, exactly. I have wanted to try at least 2 products in the set and buying them separate they would be close to 100$ together. Now I can get to try them in smaller sizes and get some extras I already use.
I would have loved the first set but the color selections wouldn’t match me but I am definitely feeling the cleansing set. Love trying new skincare options!
I wish Sephora would switch up the fragrances in their sampler sets a little more. The same perfumes (or versions of the same perfumes) seem to make it in every year. If I get one more sample of Omnia Crystaline or Daisy, I may freak out.
I enjoy the Sephora Favorites collection. I used to think that some of the sample sizes are a waste when you could get samples from the store. However, once in a while I do find that the convenience and value is exceptional. This year the Cleanse to go Kit for $18 is a great value. The 10 facial wipes ($8), and the GlamGlow PowrMud (not ThirstyMud) $19 alone make it a good deal and the other mask and cleanser make it even better. It is nice to have something to travel with that you’re not filling yourself into travel containers. The fragrance samplers are also a good value if your scent is one of the options for redemption.
