They look absolutely beautiful in their tubes. Of course they’re more sheered out once applied but for a drugstore lipstick they look pretty promising! Can’t wait to see the reviews! 🙂

I already want 4. Uh oh. I’m hoping maybe there’s a little bit of a formula issue, while also hoping these are great drugstore finds. I’m supposed to be on a low-buy, here! 🙂

I’ve been loving the senak peaks from US vloggers but The chance of this lunching in Canada are small or incomplete. LE collection usually arrive 1-2 months late up here while Permanent ones arrive here earlier by the same time as the US. >_>

After seeing their glosses, I wasn’t expecting much, but the quality does look better than the glosses. Rose Rush looks like a stunning coral!

Coral Burst and Rose Rush look so pretty! Thank you for doing a mix of drugstore and high end makeup reviews. I always like seeing the high end items to request as gifts but am on a budget for my personal purchases. Your reviews are always helpful for both.

Pretty! I wish Maybelline would improve the flavor/scent of their formula, though. I just can’t tolerate playdoh flavors. There are so many brands out there that have better-tasting formulas that I just don’t know why Maybelline can’t either improve the flavor of their formula or make it unflavored.

I find myself drawn to every color. I picked up a couple of these several weeks ago, and I really like them. I’m looking forward to wearing them more in the spring.

Love lilac flush and coral burst. Don’t even care that the lilac one is kinda patchy. So hard to find shades like that at the drugstore. Are these permanent or limited edition?

Hmm, these look alright but nothing special. Do they have the standard Color Sensational smell? That’s what has put me off these lipsticks in the past since I really don’t like the scent they use. :/

It seems candy pastels are in for Spring! Normally things with such an aggressively white base are not really my jam (and, of these, I’m most interested in the Rose Rush and Coral Burst specimens), but I will give them full credit for looking impressively non-lipliney given their base! there are quite a few that look sort of similar though (or is it just my eye/monitor?). I’m intrigued to hear your review!

We’re you perhaps thinking that these seem identical in color to the YSL Rouge Voluptes? The main ones that keep going strong..? That’s the first thing I paused pensively to debate. My preference: YSL. They don’t use white bases and just because things are pastel doesn’t mean they have a white base. People forget that. 🙁

If you mean my similarity comment, I just meant that some of the colours within this Maybelline line itself kind of look samey to my eye 😉 I do love me a YSL Rouge Volupte though! 😀

The whole white-base issue really gets to me sometimes. Usually it’s the lipliney-ness that almost inevitably results (especially in MAC ones), or it’ll look like toothpaste dried on your lips (some of those KvD Studded Kiss ones). I just don’t see why companies are so keen on it (OK, I know it’s probably because it’s a cheap way to make bright colours, but still).

I like the looks of several these! I initially thought they would all be super pale pastels, but some of these are quite bright. I’m looking forward to your review, but I know maybelline’s lipsticks are generally good!

Gahhh I wish I could find Lilac Flush! It looks like such a pretty color. I have pretty much all of these minus a few shades and so far I like them. They kinda remind me of MAC Lustres but a little more comfortable to wear. I can’t wait to hear what you think about them!

I work at CVS and just picked up Peach Poppy last night. I tried it on today and really don’t like it. It seems kind of streaky. I passed on Coral Burst, but I may go back and do an even exchange. We’ll see!

Coral Burst looks so nice! My kind of shade. But I’m wary about the taste/scent. :3 Please let us know in the full review.

i love Maybelline Colorsensational lipstick formula.. and there are a few pretty shades in the collection that i would love to try .. the coral and peaches especially!! <3

Coral Burst looks really pretty! It looks like these are not really sheer, just very lightweight on the lips. I’m looking forward to the full review (although most of the colors are too light for me — light lip colors make me look washed out/sick, no matter the undertone).

The original color sensational was/is one of my fav DS formulas. These look SLIGHTLY patchy in some but that may just be the pastel shades…waiting to read how this turns out!

I’m so happy that you’ve been swatching more drugstore products lately! It’s incredibly helpful since it’s not possible to swatch in-store & it’s harder to find complete sets of swatches online.

Interestingly enough, though I can’t speak for the quality, I see these and think of a replicated YSL Rouge Volupte lippie original colors.. Highly doubtful that they are an iota close in formulation.. But don’t these colors seem an obvious crying out of duplicity? I can’t possibly be the only one who thinks this..

Coral burst looks intriguing. I’m certain that I own nothing like it. Barely Blooming would look nice under fortune cookie by NYX. The cool toned pinks and lavander are enticing but I have dupes and I dont wear the lavender tinted colors often. My only caveat is that Maybelline lippies start to smell funky b/c of the castor oil in a month or two. I’ll exercise self restraint until june and then I’ll decide if I want to buy anything.

Seriously.. YSL Nude Beige, Sensual Silk, Peach Passion, Lingerie Pink, Fetish Pink, Frivolous Pink, Extreme Coral, Caresse Pink, Tender Peach, Opera Rose… #30 too! .. It’s all I saw looking at these! Think about it. 😛 Check it out.. Totally mimics these.

Pastel eyeshadows and all things beauty as pastel does not certify White Bases! I’m clueless as to how, in 2015, people assume that and forget the wonderful examples of pure colors without white bases! Check MUFE artist, google pastel cosmetics without white base.. You’ll find SO MANY that people expected to discover a chalky white base but was pleasantly surprised to the flush of colors used instead!

Oh I love a lot of these!! Rose Rush was a first impulse but I see it’s almost an exact dupe for Vibrant Mandarin. Also, Coral Crush!!!! Dupe for Revlon Snow Peach, right??? I must have it. And Budding Bloom is just a lovely spring pink shade. Def gonna snatch those two up.
